In the Evans group, Malcolm’s fingers still tapped regularly on the desk. He played with the phone in his hand for a long time, but his eyes were fixed on the office door. Malcolm raised his eyebrows in surprise. He had just met her for the second time. How could a little girl who didn’t know him yet make such a bold request? Wasn’t she afraid of being taken away by a stranger? Was it because she was overconfident or because she underestimated the wickedness of society?

“Sir…I loved you at first sight. So you must not be a bad guy,” Kathy said with a gentle smile, as if she could see through Malcolm’s mind.

Malcolm said nothing more. After taking a look at the villa, he suddenly walked towards the car next door with Kathy in his arms. He finally accepted her request. At least before today, he never thought he would play with a child like that. He would never kidnap a girl without her parents’ permission. “My mom has a cat that looks a lot like this. She always has him with her,” Kathy said.

Malcolm nodded knowingly and walked out of the botanical garden with Kathy in his arms. Suddenly he turned around, but saw no one suspicious. He frowned slightly. When his eyes met Kathy’s confused eyes, he put on a slight smile and continued walking to the parking spot.

“Handsome sir, can I call you when I miss you?” Kathy asked, pouting.

“Of course,” Malcolm replied simply.

He didn’t know why he agreed to stay with her in the botanical garden, a place he would never enter in his life, for the entire afternoon. After getting in the car and settling Kathy in, he started the engine and drove towards the villa community. Kathy had been running so wildly earlier that she felt tired. After a while, she fell asleep in the car. Glancing at the sleeping Kathy, Malcolm gently covered her with his suit jacket, adjusted the temperature of the air conditioner, and focused on driving.

At this moment, Lucia who was sleeping quietly was in sharp contrast to the extremely nervous and worried Lucia in the villa. The house was in disarray due to Kathy’s unexpected disappearance.
