Terrence’s POV

Riley had fallen unconscious right after she transformed back into her normal self. I will admit that her berserker form was intense, but it didn’t change that she was still Riley in mine and Ethan’s eyes. The smell of the hellhounds and harpies’ b***d was overpowering, and a bit sickening. The wolf in front of us was massive and beautiful. I have never seen such a gorgeous she wolf other than Melody’s and mom’s wolves. Thor was thumping his tail in my mind. He wanted to shift and meet this wolf himself, but now was not the time for introductions.

A silver wolf came up from behind the other one with a girl riding on it’s back. The wolf appeared to be male from his body shape. The girl slid off and started walking towards me and Riley. I gripped Riley closer to me and growled at the girl. She didn’t look all that harmful, but in the state Riley was in I was not going to take any chances of her getting hurt by anyone. The girl stopped and raised her hands slowly as if she was surrendering. “It’s ok. I just have her medicine.” She said and then slowly pulled out a small vial of light blue liquid from her shirt. ‘Why the hell would anyone keep medicine in their cleavage like that?’ I asked my wolf. He grunted in response as he tried to sniff the air to see if it was safe, but with all we could smell was rotting flesh and ashes all around us.

“Terrence, that is Aunt Ren. She is a healer. The medicine is safe for Riley. I promise.” Kai said through the barrier. I looked at Kai and then at the girl again. Then I nodded my head for her to come closer. She smiled and popped the cork off the vial and brought it to Riley’s mouth. I shifted Riley so she could drink it and not choke on it. After a little gulp. Riley coughed a bit and opened her eyes. Her eyes were back to their beautiful blue and were filled with kindness and a bit of fear. Riley looked up at me. “T-t-terrence?” She spoke in a hoarse voice. Her throat must be really dry. “Shhh. Just rest Riley. I got you.” I cooed at her in a gentle tone.

She looked at herself. “I’m getting b***d all over you.” She yelped as she tried to get out of my arms. I tightened my grip around her small body. “That doesn’t matter to me. I’m not letting you go until this is all over with. Your safety comes first.” I stated firmly. I heard a giggle and looked up at the girl Kai called their Aunt Ren. She smiled kindly at the twins before turning her attention to Ethan and I. “I never thought I would hear those words come from anyone besides us. It is an honor to meet you.” She said with a bow. Then she waved her arms around. Suddenly Riley and I were surrounded by water. It was weird. Even though we were submerged in water, I was still able to breathe normally. The b***d was washed away and with a snap of Ren’s fingers the water dispersed as fast as it appeared. The silver wolf shifted back into his human form. His hair was as red as Kai’s but his silver eyes reminded me of someone else. “Alright, how about we get inside before things get ungly out here.” He said and then looked at Kai.

Kai placed his hand on the “Chorízo.” (Break apart) He said clearly and his barrier had disappeared. One of the harpies tried to fly right in, only to be snatched by the she wolf’s jaws and bitten in half with a few shakes of her head. “I dare any of you to try and get past me.” she growled. Her growl sent a shiver down my spine. I couldn’t wait for all this mess to be over with, so we could meet this incredible she wolf.

Ethan’s POV

Kai called that beautiful wolf mother. ‘That must be Alpha Jasmine then.’ I thought to myself. Kai let his barrier down so quickly with the appearance of some new faces. A man with the same red hair as Kai’s was wearing only shorts. They must have been made from the same material as Natalia and Kayla’s clothes since they didn’t rip with his shift. He came over to Kai and ruffled his hair a bit. “Good job kiddo. You kept them all safe. I am very proud of you.” He said in a deep baritone voice. Kai’s eyes lit up at the praise. “Thanks Uncle Parker.” Kai said with the biggest smile I have ever seen him form. I felt a bit jealous that this guy had such a good relationship with Kai. Apollo growled in my mind. ‘Kai and Riley are our pups.’ he stated.

I usually ignored him when he said stuff like that, but he was right. These two are mine and Terrence’s. They are ours to protect, even if their mother is not our mate. I was pulled from my thoughts when Kai wrapped his arms around my waist and buried his head in my side. “Kai? What is wrong?” I asked him. “Mother is very pissed. She is going to use a move that Riley and I don’t like.” He said. I look over at Riley and she has her head buried in Terrence’s neck and her ears covered. “Kayla, Natalia. You and those wolves might want to get in here quick. Jasmine is about to blow her top!” Parker yelled.

I saw Natalia and Kayla drop from a tree. The barrier around Uncle Raphael’s warriors was dropped as well. They quickly put on some shorts and Natalia and Kayla herded them over to the doors. Natalia came over to Parker as Kayla closed the doors. “Ready?” He asked. Natalia nodded. Natalia grabbed Parker’s hand, which earned a growl from Tucker. Natalia smiled and blew Tucker a k**s, then she turned back to Parker. “Me tis dynámeis mas syndyasménes, prostatépste mas apó tin orgí ton ouranón.” They said in unison. (With our powers combined, protect us from the wrath of the heavens.) Then a white light engulfed the pack house. It looked different from Kai’s fire barrier. “Alright Jasmine. You can unleash hell on those buzzards. Natalia and Parker got this place covered.” Kayla called out.

Jasmine let out a massive howl. The aura she realised was powerful. A loud thud sound happened behind me. I turned to see that everyone had dropped to their knees, bearing their neck in submission to this aura. The only ones standing were Terrence, Jeremiah, Drake, Luca, Melody, and myself. Even my parents were on their knees. I have never seen anyone powerful enough to do that. Kai whimpered. I picked him up and he clung to me as I looked back outside. “You made the mistake of following that bastard’s will, but even more so for bringing harm to my children.” She growled out. “This is impossible. How could a pathetic mutt have such an aura?!” Desyre screamed. I would dare not say that she was pathetic nor a mutt. Jasmine was an incredible alpha with her own strength.

Jasmine let out a fearsome roar. The once clear night sky filled with thick clouds. Twisters started to form and lighting rained down, but it was no ordinary lighting. This lighting was a mixture of black and silver. “DEATH STORM!!” Jasmine roared as the harpies were consumed by the twisters and turned into ash as soon as the lighting hit them. It felt like forever, but she had whipped out the rest of the harpies in only a few seconds. The storm cleared as fast as it had formed. There was nothing besides Jasmine in front of us. Their corpses from when Riley used her berserker form were swept away by the storm. The air started to clear as well. Natalia and Parker released their barrier. Jasmine turned to face us. “Parker, please repair their area here. I believe they were about to have a ceremony of some kind.” Jasmine asked, still in her wolf form.

“Yes, Alpha.” Parker said with a bow and waved his hand. “Gyríste píso tin ámmo tou chrónou kai epistrépste ó,ti cháthike” (Turn back the sands of time and return what has been lost.) He chanted and everything seemed to fix itself. Within a few minutes everything was fixed, as if nothing had happened the last few minutes. I was truly blown away by these people. I heard bones breaking and reshaping. I looked over and The most beautiful woman I had ever seen was standing right in front of me. She was wearing an outfit similar to the ninja look that the twins and everyone else we have met from their world are wearing. She was just as tall as Melody and her muscles seemed to be a little bit thicker than a normal she wolf’s. She seemed remarkably beautiful, but she had a mask covering only her eyes.

The mask was like a blindfold colored the same as her wolf. I wondered why she wanted to prevent anyone from seeing her eyes. The wind picked up a bit and made her long silver and red hair dance in the air. Then I was hit with a sweet and intoxicating scent. Apollo started to howl in joy. I stiffened a bit and started sniffing the air. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Terrence sniffing around too. The smell was of sweet peppermint and mocha. ‘Apollo, is it what I think it is?’ I asked. ‘Yes. Mate!’ He howled. I snapped my head to Terrence and he was looking at me with a smile. We had finally found our mate and she was perfect.
