Episode 86

Natalia’s POV

Grace, Sabrina, and Shianna had just finished doing our hair and makeup. Our wedding kimonos are not exactly a traditional style, but our new friends in theis pack wanted to help make them special for all of us. My kimono was the traditional white. Kayla’s kimono was black with white trimmings, and Ren’s kimono was a nice baby blue color. “The three of you look beautiful.” Beta Rico said. “Thank you so much.” I said, as I smiled.

Beta Rico, Alpha Zero, and Alpha Hero were the only males back here with us because they were gonna walk us to the altar. Since I was older than Kayla, and Beta Rico was our mate’s father, Beta Rico was escorting me to the altar. Alpha Leo is going to be with Jasmine and Alpha Luca, so Alpha Zero and Alpha Hero offered to escort Kayla and Ren down. Since we had all lost our parents in the war years ago, it was comforting to be with people that make us feel like family. “Are you girls ready?” Alpha Hero asked. I looked at Kayla and Ren who both were smiling and nodding. I nodded to Alpha Hero. “Yes we are.” I said as I linked my arm with Beta Rico.

Melody’s POV

I was staring in amazement to the floating lights dancing around in the air. “Wow Kai. I had no idea you could do something like this.” I said, as I faced him. “It is a basic fire spell.” Kai said as he held up his hand with his pointer finger out. A light looked as if it was drawn to his finger and landed on it. He brought it down and held it in front of me. I put my finger near it and it didn’t burn. I felt the warmth of the light as Kai passed it to my hand. It felt like it was lightly fluttering as if I was holding a tiny bird in my hands instead of a little fireball. “This is so amazing.” I said. I looked up and saw the twins and my two mates, who were sitting with me, smiling at me.

“Oh that reminds me… Why are you guys in your hybrid forms?” I asked Riley and Kai. Jasmine was also in her hybrid form, but when I saw Natalia, Kayla, and Ren they were all in human form. I looked over to Jasmine standing between Dad and Luca. She had dragon wings and horns like Kai. Though instead of them being red hers were an electric blue color, and she also had wolfish ears and tail like Riley. They were the same silver and red as her human hair. You could feel the power radiating off of her, but not in a threatening way. “Mother is in hybrid form as a formal custom from back home. They alphas giving their blessings over the ceremony show this as a form of respect to other alphas in attendance.” Riley explained. “Yes. It is optional for the guest and the mated pair, but those of alpha b***d are normally in their hybrid form.” Kai added.

“That is very cool. I like some of your customs, though some I could also live without.” Jeremiah said with a smile. I giggled as I let the little light in my hand float back up in the air with the rest of them. I knew what he was talking about. All my mates have found it a bit hard to swallow that Riley and Kai have been as formal as warriors to all of us. We say nothing in front of others, but we figured in time they will address us the way they used to. Riley’s ears perked up and she smiled as she stood up. Kai followed. They both turned to the entrance of the aisle way. I gentle soft flute music had started to play as what looked like flower petals started to softly rain down. Jasmine raised her arms, silently asking for everyone to stand up. We all stood up and I looked towards the back of the aisle.

I gasped as I saw Natalia and the others dressed in their wedding kimonos. Their hair was all up and pinned with different hair clip things. Natalia had something that looked like angel wings, with silver and diamonds, in her hair, while Kayla had a silver wolf howling towards the sky. Ren’s hair piece was silver with deep blue sapphires that looked like a mermaid swimming in the ocean. Apparently beast humans are not weak against silver like we are. Their biggest weakness is if they lose control of their emotions and their beast soul becomes so wild and crazy that they can no longer control them.

Uncle Rico handed Natalia to Tucker’s right and daddy handed Kayla to Tucker’s left. Papa handed Ren to Carter. Then they joined mama and Aunt Shianna in the front row across the aisle from us. The flute stopped playing and the petals stopped falling. Jasmine slightly bowed her head, indicating we could be seated. Everyone sat down and now we were all watching the altar with wonder.

Leo’s POV

Jasmine had explained to us that the mating ceremony was mostly the alphas of the mated pair giving their blessings to the union and if they were moving between clans/packs they would be initiated into the pack or clan they were joining. For example… Even if Jasmine doesn’t merge her clan with Raven Moon, Natalia and Kayla have accepted the duty of being the next beta females when Tucker takes over for Rico. Ren has also accepted the same duty and will be joining Luca’s pack, Royal Moon.

“Friends and loved ones. We are here tonight to bless the union of not one, but two mated pairs tonight. May Mother Selene bear witness along with us under the full moon tonight. May her blessings and protection watch over us all.” Jasmine spoke in a clear voice that was heard throughout the whole area. Then she turned her attention to Tucker. “Tucker Delgado, future beta of the Raven Moon pack, do you swear not only on your life, but to our Goddess and mother, Selene, that you will love and cherish both Natalia and Kayla Scarlet as your mates and life long partners?” She asked with a small smile. Tucker broke out into a huge grin. “I solemnly swear to love and cherish Natalia and Kayla with all my heart and soul.” Tucker answered confidently. The corner of Jasmine’s lips tipped up a bit more.

Then Jasmine turned to me. “Alpha Leo Jackman, do you accept and bless this union?” Jasmine asked. I smiled and nodded my head. “I, Alpha Leo Jackman, give my blessings to Tucker Delgado to be with his mates, Natalia and Kayla Scarlet, as long as they all honor and respect each other.” I said. I sighed internally. Jasmine had told Luca and I that we can say whatever felt natural to us when we gave our blessings. It took me all day yesterday to figure out what I was going to say. I focused on Jasmine because next was to inducted Natalia and Kayla into the Raven Moon pack. Jasmine had turned to Natalia and Kayla. “Natalia Scarlet… Kayla Scarlet… With my blessing I, Alpha Jasmine Dragneel, free you from the ties of the Ember Cyclone clan to join the clan of your mate.” Jasmine said in her alpha tone.

“I, Alpha Leo Jackman, extend an invitation to Natalia and Kayla Scarlet to join the Raven Moon pack. So long as you abide by our laws and submit to me as your alpha.” I said as I made a small cut in my palm. Natalia cut her palm first. “I, Natalia Scarlet, submit to you as my alpha and swear to abide by your pack laws.” She said as she shook my hand, mixing our b***d. I felt the connection with her open as I released her hand. “I, Kayla Scarlet, submit to you as my alpha and swear to abide by your pack laws.” Kayla said as she reached for my hand with hers. She had already cutted into her palm. I shook her hand and felt the connection between her and the pack open as well. With that we were half way done with the mating ceremony.

Luca’s POV

I was so happy that Carter had found his mate. I have never seen him so energetic and happy in my life. Carter has always told me and Zezar what his plans were for when he finally found his mate. He would treat her with nothing but love and respect. Ren was a very beautiful and lucky woman to be mated with Carter. He has been going on and on about her long silky hair that was blue on top and green on the bottom. It always reminded me of when people video themselves swimming through prue green kelp forests under the deep blue ocean. Her hair and her blue eyes were his weakness. I was pulled from my thoughts when I heard Jasmine start to talk again.

“Carter Lightwood, beta of the Royal Moon pack, do you swear not only on your life, but to our Goddess and mother, Selene, that you will love and cherish Ren Fullbuster as your mate and life long partner?” She asked. Carter gave her a full blown smile. “I solemnly swear to love and cherish Ren with all my heart and soul.” He replied. Jasmine turned to look in my direction. “Alpha Luca Higgins, do you accept and bless this union?” She asked. I smiled and nodded my head. “I, Alpha Luca Higgins, give my blessings to my best friend Carter Lightwood and his mate, Ren Fullbuster. May they live a long and happy life together.” I said. “Ren Fullbuster… With my blessing I, Alpha Jasmine Dragneel, free you from the ties of the Ember Cyclone clan to join the clan of your mate.” Jasmine repeated in her alpha tone. Now it was time for me to induct Ren into the Royal Moon pack, not only as a new member but as the new female beta of my pack.

“I, Alpha Luca Higgins, extend an invitation to Ren Fullbuster to not only join the Royal Moon pack, but to become the new female beta of the pack.” I say as I cut into my palm. “Do you, Ren Fullbuster, submit to me as your alpha and promise to obey our pack laws?” I asked. Ren smiled as she silently bit into her hand. “I, Ren Fullbuster, submit to you as my alpha and accept the duties as the beta female of the Royal Moon pack.” She said, as she shook my hand and mixed our b***d. I felt the connection open with her as I noticed that her eyes were glowing. As I released her hand I looked over to Jasmine. For her to declare that the ceremony was completed.

Jasmine’s POV

I have never seen Natalia, Kayla, or Ren shine so brightly. They are so happy now that they are with their mates. I smile as I raise my hands. “Raven Moon pack, I give you the newest mate set in your pack Tucker Delgado with the twins, Natalia and Kayla Scarlet.” I announced. Everyone started to clap and cheer as Tucker and the twins turned around to smile at everyone. “Along with a new addition to the Royal Moon pack. Beta Carter Wilson and his mate Ren Fullbuster.” I said. Once again everyone cheered and clapped. That concluded the serious part of the ceremony, now it was time for the fun. I looked over to Riley and winked at her. “Whoo-hoo, It’s time to celebrate!” She yelled out, jumping into the air. Everyone was at first surprised but then they all burst out laughing. “Tonight we shall eat, drink, and sing with abandon as we honor the newly mated creatures in front of us.” I yelled out to everyone in attendance. More cheers and applause as Tucker leads Natalia and Kayle to the ballroom. Followed by Carter and Ren.

I waited until everyone had left the area and filed into the ballroom. I snapped my fingers and all the floating lights went out. It would be too careless to leave them burning all night. I transformed into my human form before I walked into the ballroom last. Some people were eating from the large feast that Jess and her mates had prepared for this evening. Some were talking to others from different packs, and others were dancing. I felt a couple of hands wrap around mine. I looked down and saw Riley and Kai, both now in human form as well. “Mother, will you dance with us?” Riley pleaded. I smiled and nodded. Both Kai and Riley pulled me towards the dance floor. Robin started playing a familiar céilidh tune from home. I jumped and twirled around with Kai and Riley, never noticing everyone watching us.

Terrance’s POV

Ethan and I were looking for Jasmine as soon as we were in the ballroom. She was the last one to come in apparently and then Kai and Riley took her to the dance floor before Ethan or I could talk to her. Robin was on the stage with the band Aunt Sasha had hired. He pulled out what looked like an ocarina and began to play an upbeat tune. Jasmine started twirling and jumping around the dance floor with Kai and Riley. The three of them were all smiles and laughing together. ‘Maybe you should start learning how to dance, little brother.’ Ethan said through our mind link. ‘Huh… Why would I need to learn how to dance?’ I asked him. ‘Because when we have our mating ceremony with our mate, I am sure it will make her happy to dance with both of us.’ He replied. I gulped. Thinking about it now, he was right. ‘I guess I will be spending some time with Mel or Lilly in our free time.’ I muttered back before I cut the link. I then turned back to my mate dancing beautifully with our pups.
