Episode 85

Terrance’s POV

Time flew by pretty quickly and now we are setting up for the mating ceremony for Ren and Carter, but also for Tucker and his twin mates, Natalia and Kayla. I start to reminisce on what Jasmine and her friends have done since they came to Raven Moon.

Jasmine had given Uncle Brandon her guard to help train our warriors. Ren had turned our whole training area into an underwater training ring. She even infused a combination of her magic with Riley’s magic to allow us to breathe under the water. It really worked our muscles as if we were doing weight lifting training along with our combat training at the same time. At first it was difficult to move in the water but the more we did it the better it got, and once we were back on dry land we felt a big difference. Most warriors started to improve faster than before. Grace and Tristan had helped improve our warrior’s teamwork skills. Especially because of how strong those two are. Robin has helped with their indurance. His wind magic packs a punch. He could even make the air thin so we could learn how to control our breathing better in different environments.

Thanks to the extra training… Drake, Jeremiah, Luca, Melody, Ethan, and I are finally able to land a few hits on the twins during our own training periods. The bracelets that allow us to communicate with another’s inner soul has brought our compatibilite in a fight up quite a bit. Jeremiah and I were paired to track down and catch Riley in the forest. Almost like a game of tag. With us being the main two on par with Riley’s speed. Logan and Thor were able to help us together with Logan’s heightened sight and Thor’s heightened hearing and smell. Ethan and I also got to see Jasmine sparring with the twins. She took Riley and Kai on at the same time and they were even using their magic. We have also seen her beautiful wolf a few times during training. Thor and Apollo have been howling to run with their mate, and are dying to meet her other side, Dalinda, Jasmine’s dragon. Though Jasmine has not shifted into Dalinda at all.

Jasmine has even impressed all of our fathers with her input on pack business. Her learning about our world a bit and then giving her opinion on pack issues has strengthened our pack already. If things go well and we finally win her over, then she would make a perfect luna for our pack. She has been trying her best to keep a distance from Ethan and me since we cornered her in the conference room at Thunder Mountain. She has been respectful and all but Ethan and I are getting restless and so are our wolves.

I am pulled from my thoughts by someone shaking my arm. I looked over to see Riley. “Are you ok Terrance? You weren’t answering me and I called you a few times.” She said with a worried expression. “Oh! I am so sorry Riley. I am fine, I was just thinking about some things.” I admitted, patting her head. “Is it about mother?” She asked. I nodded. “Please tell me that you are not going to reject her too.” She pleaded, tears filling her eyes. I pulled Riley into a tight hug. “I would never ever reject your mother. She is the moon and sun to Ethan and I, and you and Kai are the stars.” I said. Then I scooped Riley up into my arms and spun her around. She laughed and hugged me back. “Oh, I remembered what I was calling you for.” She said, as she pulled away to look me in the eyes. “And what is that?” I asked.

“Mother said that we should be able to go to Edolas tomorrow morning. I was supposed to ask you and Ethan if you are coming with us.” She said. “Well I know I am 100% going. I wouldn’t miss it for the world.” I said with a big smile. Riley smiled and hugged me again before she tried to wiggle out of my grip. I half dropped her so I was now holding her upside down and tickling her sides. She squealed and started laughing so hard that she started to snort a bit. It was so adorable. Riley was so cute when she acted her age, but she was very impressive when she was fighting as a warrior. I wondered how Jasmine would sound if she was to laugh like Riley was. I bet she would be even more beautiful if she was to smile more often. Thor purred in my head at the thought.

Jasmine’s POV

I am walking around the Raven Moon pack house. It really is a lovely home. Only ranked members live in the pack house. Brandon and Sabrina have a small cottage a bit into the woods. I heard laughing and I followed it. I peeked into a room and saw Terrance holding Riley upside down in his arms and tickling her sides. She was laughing and squirming around, trying to break his hold. ‘Awww. I haven’t heard Riley laugh like that in a long time.’ Kira said. ‘You are right. Riley always has a smile for us, but I have never heard her laugh so hard to hear her cute little snort.’ Dalinda added.

I internally smiled and backed away quietly. I want so badly to spend time with Terrance and Ethan, but I am an alpha. I need to think of what is best for those that I fight to protect. I continued to walk down the hallway when someone called out for me. “Ah, Jasmine. There you are.” Alpha Leo called out. He was the eldest of the alpha triplets that are in charge of the pack right now. I sensed that Alpha Zero, Alpha Hero, and Luna Jessabelle were there as well. I was informed that a luna was what the mate to the male alpha heirs were called. I bowed my head in respect. They were not only rulers like I was, but the parents of my mates. “Alphas, Luna.” I said. Luna Jessabelle walked right up to me and flicked me on the nose.

“Ack!” I cried out as I covered my nose. My nose and ears or the only sensitive parts on my body, and Luna Jessabelle has not held back on her flicks. “What have I said to call us?” She asked in her motherly tone. It made me feel nostalgic. These four reminded me so much of my parents, but when I was Riley and Kai’s age. “I am sorry Jess, but formalities and respect are a lot in my world.” I said, calling her by her name this time. They told me to call them by their names or mom and dads when I felt more comfortable to do so. I didn’t want to get their hopes up in case things didn’t work out between Ethan, Terrance, and I. That would be just crul. “Well we are family… No more formalities.” She said.

‘Family.’ I thought to myself. For years it has just been me and Parker. Then Riley and Kai were born and it had just been the four of us. Of course we had Natalia and the others but I couldn’t show them the side that only Parker has seen. Me being weak and crying when I was in pain. I was hurt by my own brother, and sent to purgatory. I was hurt when that male forced himself on me, but gifted with my children. I was hurting when Riley and Kai left while I was on a mission, but now everyone, except for Robin, has found their mates. I just nodded, not trusting my voice right at this moment. “Good, now please follow us.” Jess said. I could tell by her tone that it was not a question.

They led me to one of their offices and Hero swiped my mask right off my face. I was so deep in thought, wondering what they wanted to discuss, that I didn’t even notice him coming closer to me. “Your eyes are a part of the real you. You shouldn’t have to hide them from us or anyone.” Hero said as he folded up my mask and placed it in his pocket. “So Jasmine. The matter we want to talk about is… What are you going to do about the mate bond with our boys?” Leo asked. I took a deep breath in and out. “I honestly don’t know at this point. I am an alpha of a clan that needs my protection, but I can’t bring myself to leave Terrance and Ethan.” I rubbed the back of my neck. “Dalinda and Kira want to give them a chance with my clan and if things work out maybe we can work together and merge my clan with Raven Moon in this world.” I said. It was mostly what was on my mind in recent days.

“That seems like a wonderful idea. We can find ways to make it work.” Jess said excitedly. “I know that if my clan respects them as they do me the merge will work, but I am worried about how to do it. If I introduce them as my mates it will put a big target on their backs.” I say honestly. Zero comes over and places his hand on my shoulder. “Ethan and Terrance are not weak minded wolves. They have made the decision to do whatever they can do for you to be completely comfortable being their mate and luna.” he said. Leo, Hero, and Jess all smiled and nodded. Agreeing with Zero. I felt my cheeks warm up a bit. “Just remember that if we do merge your clan with the pack… You are not alone, and never would be alone again. You have not only your mates, but us as well.” Leo said. I took a big deep breath. ‘It is worth a try, Jasmine.’ Dalinda said. ‘Yeah’ Kira chimed in. I smiled at Jess and her mates. “Thank you for the advice. I will try to be more relaxed with Ethan and Terrance, and introduce them as my mates when we get to my clan lands.” I said, with a rare smile I show to others once in a while. Jess jumps up and hugs me. As do Leo, Hero, and Zero. I am squeezed in the middle of a four way wolf hug. It feels so nice to feel a parent’s love once again.
