Ren’s POV

I noticed that Natalia and Kayla had snuck out of the after party with Tucker for some alone time. I smirked as I then looked at my mate, Carter. He was respectful to wait until tonight to even k**s me because I asked him to. For a siren marks their mate with a k**s and the bond is complete when we mate. Carter has been nothing but sweet to me. He loves training with me even though I put his cute butt on the ground most of the time. He has given me the space I needed when we first met. I learned that practically all werewolf males become super possessive and protective over their mates when they find them.

I also love Carter’s wolf, Ash. He was like an overgrown puppy when Carter first showed him to me. I wonder what kind of young ones we will have after all this. Wondering and worried about how life will be different for them as hybrids. Hybrids were never liked in Edolas. Most were killed at birth. That was until Jasmine’s ancestor, Rita Dragneel, was the first to have hybrid offspring and her and her mate made their clan a place and safe haven for those that were mated with other races and had hybrid children.

I was pulled from my thoughts when a pair of strong arms wrapped around my waist. The tingles and settled scent told me that it was my mate. I laid my head back onto his shoulder. “What is going through that pretty little head of you, my love?” Carter asked, then kissed my neck. It tickled and I jolted a bit from the surprise sensation. “I was wondering what kind of life our young ones will have. To be honest with you, my handsome mate, I was nervous at first to have a mate of a different creature. Hybrids in our world are normally killed when discovered or at birth. Ember Cyclone Clan has been the only safe place I know of for hybrids.” I spoke honestly and softly.

Carter’s arms tightened around me and laid his head on my shoulder. “I understand my love, but this world is different. Melody has been bringing different races together. It is a slow process, but she and her mates will make it work.” Carter said. Then he turned me around to face him. “Our pups will grow strong and safe here.” He said as he laid his forehead on mine. I could feel my worries drift away the more I looked into his gorgeous dark brown eyes. I smiled, mother Selene has truly blessed me with a wonderful mate.

I surprised both Carter and myself when the next thing I knew I was kissing his soft full lips. ‘Oh my goddess, finally girl!’ my siren, River, cheered in my head. I felt her extend her aura throughout my whole body. I licked Carter’s lips, wanting to enter and tase him more. I felt him smile against my lips then he opened his mouth. I snaked my tongue into his mouth. I felt River’s power start to flow into our mate through the k**s. The deeper the k**s the more power we were transferring to him. Carter pulled back when he needed to breathe. He was panting while I was fine, sirens had very good lung control.

I looked around us and caught sight of Jasmine. She was leaning on the wall watching Kai and Riley play with her mates. ‘Alpha, would you mind handling the rest of the festivities tonight? I need to be excused.’ I spoke to her through our thoughts. She turned her head to my direction and I could tell my eyes were glowing. ‘Yes I can. Now go off and enjoy your night with your man.’ She replied with a smirk on her face. I grabbed Carter’s hand and started pulling outside. “Ren, our room is upstairs.” he said. “We are not going to our room yet. We need to go to the lake.” I said and started going as fast as I could in my kimono. “Why the lake this time of night?” He asked.

I stopped and turned to him. “Sirens mark their mates with a k**s and seal the bond with mating, but the first time we mate has to be in water. That is the best way for a siren to claim their mate.” I said. Carter nodded and clumsily stripped off his wedding clothes, surprisingly without ripping them, and set them in a bin nearby. Then he shifted into his beautiful wolf and laid down. I tilted my head in confusion, but Ash motioned his head from me to his back. “You want me to climb on your back?” I asked. Ash nodded his big wolf head. I kissed the top of Ash’s head and then climbed on his back.

Ash stood tall and proud after I was on his back with a good grip. He sprinted off towards the lake at a very fast pace. We reached the lake within a few minutes. I slid off his back and he shifted back into human form. His golden sun k**s skin was on full display in his naked glory. ‘Yummy.’ River purred. My eyes trailed down his beautiful sculpted body. I noticed my mark, an icy blue tattoo pattern already forming on his neckline. His muscular arms and legs with his chiseled abs made all the moisture in my body to run south. Carter sniffed the air and then closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. When he opened his eyes again, they were pitch black and he had let out a low growl.

“You smell heavenly my little mate.” He said as he walked closer to me. I felt a shiver run down my spine when he spoke. His voice was deeper. It was a mixture of his normal voice and an animal sounding voice. He gently pulled on my belt and slid my kimono off my shoulders. It fell down to the ground as I stood with my mate, naked as the day we were born. I slipped my hair ornament off and laid it on top of my kimono. My hair falling down my back and shoulders. I went up on my tip toes and kissed him before I jumped back and into the water. The icy cold water felt good on my skin, but did nothing to tame the flame in my chest and down in my core. When I resurfaced in the water I saw Carter standing on the shore.

“You just gonna stand there handsome, or are you gonna come and join me?” I teased. He growled and then jumped into the water. When he came up he huffed and shivered a bit. “Damn it is freezing her at night.” He complained. I laughed and swam up to him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and my legs around his waist. Carter started treading through the water as he wrapped his arms around my waist and held me close to him. I kissed him deeply and rubbed myself against him.

He g*****d and slipped his hands down my back and grabbed my butt tightly. I squeaked and Carter took that chance to trust his tongue into my mouth. Our tongues fought for dominance. I felt him growing under me as I continued to rub against him. ‘I can’t take it anymore. Ren please, take our mate inside.” River pleaded in my head. I felt her desires and it matched my own. I raised my h**s but instead of rubbing myself again. I lowered my h**s and thrusted myself fast onto Carter’s large c**k. I felt a big sharp pain as I felt myself being filled to the brim. Carter g*****d as he held me tight.

“Not what I was expecting, love.” He said in a breathy voice. I was trying to steady my breathing. I noticed some b***d floating in the water. “Sorry about that dear. River and I were getting too impaccent.” I said as I was breathing heavily. Carter chuckled and kissed me gently. “At least we know that you and River wanted us as much as Ash and I wanted you.” He said in between k****s. I felt the pain slowly disappear and wiggled my h**s. Carter gripped my a*s and started moving me up and down slowly. I felt him moving in and out. Shocks of pleasure shot through my body as I felt him move inside me. I m****d as he continued moving me. “Carter.” I gasped.

Carter purred and started moving a bit faster. I tighten my grip with my legs and arms. Hanging on for dear life as Carter started going faster and faster. The pain was non-existence anymore. I only felt pleasure. “I wanna make you mine forever.” Carter growled as he continued to pound into me. Carter had explained that werewolves bite their mate on the neck, marking them and mixing their scent with their mate’s scent to tell others that they were claimed. “Yes.” I said, barely able to think of anything else then being Carter’s forever.

Carter growled and started f*****g m harder and hard. I came undone as he pushed me over the edge of oblivion. I felt his razor sharp teeth plunge into my neck, but I felt no pain. It was more pleasurable than I had words to describe. Carter held me down as he came, pumping every drop of his seed into me. I felt complete. Carter was mine and I was his. Carter released his bite on my neck when he was done pumping into me. He licked my neck, cleaning up the b***d and sealing the mark. “Now everyone will know that you are mine.” He purred into my ear as we held each other in the water.
