Love Comes To Me
Chapter 387: I can't rest assured

Looking at Eloise's back, Marian was even more furious. Up to now, she still couldn't figure out what Hector saw in this woman. It was unacceptable that she was so unruly.

After seeing Eloise through the door, Marian decided that she had done her job, so she left.

She didn't like spending time with Eloise, and if Hector hadn't specifically asked her to, she wouldn't have taken a step near the woman. This time Hector had only instructed her to take Eloise home, and now that her mission was complete, she naturally wouldn't stay long. What's more, she was really worried about Hector.

As soon as Eloise arrived home, Solomon greeted her, "Mummy, you're back, I missed you so much."

Eloise hugged him back and brought him into the house, asking in a low voice, "Have you been good today while Mummy and Daddy were away?"

Solomon immediately said, "Don't worry, Mummy, I've been good today."

His serious look made Eloise laugh, and she couldn't help but rub his head.

But who knew that he would only look straight for a second before he came over again with a nosy look on his face and said, "Mummy, what did you say to Daddy when you saw him today?"

Eloise was a little embarrassed at the thought of this morning's scene, but after all, it was in front of her own son, so she curbed her laughter and pretended to be serious, "Daddy said that you must have been disobedient at home and I couldn't control you, so that's why you went to his place."

Solomon giggled in amusement and then said, "Mummy you're bad, it's obviously you who misses daddy."

The two mothers were still talking when they saw the maid come over and then said, "Madam, little prince, the meal is ready to be served."

Eloise nodded and took Solomon over to eat.

For some reason, the uneasy feeling she had felt this morning came back to her, and she wanted to ask Hector what it was all about, but she knew she wouldn't be of much help even if she did, so she gave up.

But just because she didn't ask didn't mean she wasn't worried; on the contrary, she was even less sure.

That night, around Hector's villa, a crisis looms.

There was silence and only the chirping of birds, a sound that made the villa seem empty, as if to announce the coming of a storm.

Rupert sat in his study, looking at the data on his computer and the surveillance on the other side of the room, forcing down a sigh of relief.

He knew that it was not going to be a peaceful day, but the more the time came, the more nervous he became, after all, no one could afford to lose this time, so he could only suppress himself and force himself to take it seriously. The night was getting darker and darker, the data, which had been uneventful, suddenly fluctuated at this moment, and a dark shadow flashed across the surveillance.

Rupert's entire nerves were on high alert as he looked at his computer, lost in thought.

They had indeed made their move, and it was a very subdued kind.

The male mercenary was seen to roll into the villa in a single bound and then walk carefully, trying not to make any noise.

After a while, the inside of the villa became unsettled, and it was only ten minutes or so before gunfire came from nowhere.

In the darkness, Hector's heart was in his throat.

What he didn't expect was that the mercenary had brought a gun with him, and everything seemed to be going in an uncontrollable direction.

After the mercenary fired one shot, it was as if the stone had sunk into the sea, and there was no more sound.

But that's why Hector was so worried, because if there had been a fight, he would have felt better, but that's what was so worrying.

Hector couldn't stand it any longer and wanted to rush out, but the man beside him hurriedly stopped him and said, "Prince, the other side isn't doing anything else, it's not a good time to rush out." Hector could not stand it any longer and rushed out of the villa.

The sound of his footsteps was followed by the sound of another footstep.

The footsteps were neat and orderly, and they were the police. It turned out that Hector was afraid that the scene was uncontrollable - it was Rupert's life at stake, after all - so he had brought the police with him. The police were lurking around, and when they heard Hector rush out, footsteps and gunshots rang out at the same time, they thought something had happened and rushed in.

In a moment, the villa was in chaos, with several forces mixing together and undercurrents, and the small villa seemed to have become an asylum, with the potential for trouble at any moment.

With his heart hanging in the air, Hector rushed straight into Rupert's study and was relieved to see him sitting there intact.

Rupert, who was on edge here, saw him and froze for a moment, "Brother, what brings you here all of a sudden."

Hector picked up on the important ones and said, "Someone has already sneaked in and brought a gun, it's too dangerous here and I can't feel at ease." Rupert was touched by Hector's concern for him, then remembered something and said, "By the way, a group of people just came in, who were they?" "The police." Hector kept his words short and simple.

Just then, Hector's phone lit up with a text message from Hall.

"Prince, the guy got him, we're in the living room now."

The brothers looked at each other and went straight to the living room.

At this moment the living room lights were all turned on, only to see a group of police officers, along with Hall's men, tightly surrounding a man.

There was no need to think, that man was the mercenary.

Hall was relieved to see the two people appearing at the same time, and then said, "Prince, Second Prince, it's great that you are all right, the man has been caught, look." After saying that, he led the two men inside, only to see Hall's men holding the captured mercenary tightly, as if they were afraid that he would break free from his restraints. The group was relieved to see that the mercenary had finally been caught.

But the male mercenary was not daunted in the slightest and laughed instead.

Hector frowned as if he realised something was wrong and said to Hall beside him, "No, where is the other female?"

It was clear that when they were investigating, they had found two mercenaries, one male and one female, so why was there only one captured now.

Hall also had a thud in his heart, I'm afraid this is a bit tricky.

The policemen hurriedly put their guns to the male mercenary's head and asked, "Say, where is your accomplice!"

The male mercenary gave a harsh laugh, then said, "You will soon find out."
