Love Comes To Me -
Chapter 691: You asked for it
But even the brightest star has a day to dim.
The air became quiet for a moment, and Hector added immediately afterwards, "I'm going back home, on a flight the night after tomorrow."
Despite having prepared for this in my mind, it was a little empty to hear him say it himself.
It's so hard to pretend you don't care.
"Yeah? Then I'll take you to the airport the day after tomorrow."
"No need." Hector shook his head no.
After a few more glances at Eloise, he spoke quietly, "The divorce, I want to wait until Solomon is a little better, I hope you understand, you can have the wedding first, it has no repercussions." "It's okay."
Eloise said and smiled at HectorSweety's.
But only she knows how badly her heart hurts now.
It was only possible to keep a death grip on the palm of the hand and not let the emotions show.
You brought this on yourself and have no one else to blame.
After taking a breather, Hector added, "When Solomon's situation stabilises, I will sign the divorce papers and send them to you."
Eloise nods sluggishly, oblivious to what she is responding to.
After Hector said the word "divorce", her mind went into a trance.
She heard everything Hector said, but as soon as she got it out of her head she forgot it again.
Taking a sip of his coffee, Hector put his hand down before staring straight at Eloise.
That look has changed a lot from before.
No longer blazing, bland as if treating a common friend.
"That's all I wanted to say."
"Hmm." Eloise subconsciously nodded in agreement.
"I'm off, bye."
Hector finished moving his coffee cup to the side and rose to his feet.
Seeing that he was leaving, Eloise stood up too.
Looking up at the handsome man in front of her, her breath hitched.
It was as if a violent storm was going on inside.
She was unable to part with him and did not want to divorce him.
But it's too late to say anything now.
Finally the corners of his lips curled up slightly in a light smile, "Goodbye."
As she watched Hector leave, Eloise covered her aching heart, hating herself for losing her memory and not being able to remember anything.
If she had known what was going on between them, she would not have created this situation today.
Scalding hot tears streamed down from her eyes and dripped into the coffee cup in front of Eloise, sending ripples down her face.
The news of Hector's departure was lost on all but a few of the core people around him.
Rowson only knew that something had happened to Solomon and had returned home with Mr Fletcher and Mrs Matriarch, not knowing that Hector had gone with him. The first thing he noticed was that something was wrong with Eloise, who he originally thought was in a low mood because of what happened to Solomon.
When pressed, he accidentally learns from Eloise that Hector has also returned home.
Rowson should be happy to see his rival leave, but then he sees Eloise's sad face and becomes jealous.
In Hector's absence, Eloise has lost her soul with him.
What is the difference between a person without a soul and a puppet?
He was silent for a moment and asked a surprising question.
"Eloise, do you promise to marry me... regret it?"
Eloise hadn't expected Rowson to ask this, and with difficulty she tugged at the corners of her mouth and answered softly.
"No regrets."
Even if you regret it, there is no chance of turning back.
Eloise drops her eyebrows and looks out at the ground.
She owes Rowson so much.
Can't afford to pay it back.
Rowson's heart didn't know what to think when he heard Eloise's answer.
Still, gently, he said, "I was overthinking it."
With those words, Rowson exited the room and gently closed the door for Eloise.
The sound of Eloise huffing and puffing came from inside the door at once.
Standing in the doorway, the smile faded from the corners of his mouth and his fists clenched tightly.
He wondered if he was really happy to get her ... in this way.
Looking down at his phone, an unfamiliar number was stored in it.
He took a look at it and moved to delete the number.
Then came out the Darlington family.
A few days later, in Marian's cottage, Hall and Marian are confronting each other.
Faced with Hall, who kept getting in her way, Marian couldn't stand it any longer and said in a somewhat hysterical voice, "Have you had enough?! I don't want to see you!"
Hall looked at Marian quietly, eyelashes flicking, and said flatly, "It's okay, you won't see it again anyway."
There was no hint of emotion hidden in his eyes, the way he looked at Marian was focused and deep.
It was like trying to burn Marian's figure deep into his mind, into the marrow of his bones.
The news of Hector's departure was not yet known to Marian.
So when she heard Hall's words, she was still a little confused and frowned as she asked, "What are you talking about? What do you mean you won't be able to see it?" "It's fine."
After a pause, Hall's eyes hurt as he looked to Marian, "Do you really hate me that much?"
Marian sniffed and held her head high, her long legs standing straight in her high heels like an imposing queen.
She looked at Hall with contempt, not giving him any face at all.
"Of course! You'll never know how repulsive you are, just the sight of you makes me sick."
After saying this, Marian seemed to exhale a sigh of relief and raised an eyebrow to look at Hall with amusement.
She expected Hall to lose his cool at her words, but instead Hall looked unchanged, his brow indifferent.
No look of pain appears at all.
Just said flatly, "So that's it, it seems my presence is getting in your way."
Marian snickered, "You just found out today? What happened in the beginning was a misunderstanding, I didn't take it to heart, not to mention that I don't intend to have too much to do with you." Every word was like the sharpest knife in the world, stabbing Hall in the wound.
Often only the people who know each other best know what words hurt the most.
Hall's heart is a little empty, so maybe it really is time to call it a day.
A truly hard-hearted person cannot be impressed.
A hint of exhaustion crossed his eyes and Hall said with relief, "It's okay, I've booked a flight back home and I won't be appearing in front of you again. Take care of yourself." Hearing his words, Marian hesitated for a moment and hastily tugged at Hall's sleeve.
"What do you mean? You return to your country? What about the prince?"
As Hector's men, they are generally not allowed to leave their own realm at will, unless Hector has assigned them a new task.
Hall's gaze paused slightly, lingering for a few seconds.
"O Prince ... went back a long time ago and is now back in the North District."
Startled, Marian couldn't help but grip Hall's hand harder and snapped at Hall, "Why didn't you tell me before!"
If he left, what would be the point of his own existence here?
Hall looked at Marian with slight sarcasm and knocked her hand away.
"Boss's schedule is confidential to the public and I have no way of telling you."
Seeing the anxiety in Marian's eyes, Hall felt the irony of it all
The person who falls in love first suffers the most.
Emotions are a robbery and no one can avoid them.
