Love Is Bad, By All Means -
Chapter 16 Give Up and Go
The man raised his hand to smash her hand away, and his smelly odor was more and more obvious with his approach. The unshaven and dirty face appeared. He snapped her face to get closer for him to see clearly. Emma twisted her body to fight back, but in vain. Her diluted eyes were staring at the man.
"Let me go!"
"Haha, this woman has a temper! I am interested in seeing how long you can endure!"
The man laughed with his gangsters immediately after his sentence.
He turned back, caressing with his eyes bit by bit to her panting bosom, with lust in his eyes.
"Bro, she seems nice!"
Other men beside him couldn't hold their lust any longer, watering their mouths and rubbing their hands anxiously. There was almost nobody on the street. Her arms were forcefully pressed so that she couldn't resist any all. "Auch... auch..."
Emma was groaning helplessly, tears down and her mouth was muffled suddenly.
A rough hand was probing around her waist. No matter how much she tried to get away from it, her clothes were still dismantled, only half left.
The man lowered his back to grab her breasts in front of him, with his saliva all over them, which repelled her to death.
"Who was there?"
Suddenly, a torch light was shot to their direction and a middle-aged man's voice sounded. The light was on the man's back, which made him frowned and shed away his face immediately. "Help me! Help me!"
She started to shout as if she saw the hope.
The man had to let her go, cursed and ran away along the lane hastily.
She was sinking onto the ground, powerless. Her clothes were hanging loosely on her shoulders.
"Are you okay?"
It was an old man who was taking a walk. He came up as soon as those men ran away, turning off the torchlight. He put his clothes to put it on her shoulders to cover her torn clothes. Emma shook her head, speechless with dry hair falling on her chest. She stood up slowly and was about to take a cab to leave.
"Miss, where are you heading for? "Your woods need to be taken care of!"
The old man couldn't read through her feeling on her face, or persuade her as she looked like in a rush, so he saw her off and left when her cab was driving off.
She saw a lot of people she didn't know were crowded at her mother's ward, before she arrived.
"Oh... that's pathetic! It was said she was almost dead, but was still taken out..."
A patient in hospital gown whispered to his neighbors.
The other person shook his head.
Emma was deeply concerned and pushed the people away to rush in.
Nobody was there. Clean sheet, but nowhere to find her parents. The nurse was tidying up things in order.
"Where are my parents?" What did you do to them?
She gripped the nurse's arms forcefully, which startled her seriously.
"What are you doing?"
The nurse stared at her, eyes wide open, and shrugged her hands off impatiently.
"The patients in this ward were taken out because they couldn't afford the medical fee. You can look for them downstairs!" "What?"
Emma couldn't believe it and pushed the nurse aside to rush out.
In the lobby there was a single bed in the middle. Her mother was awake in the bed already with the drips at her hand.
Her expression was sad with people coming up and down to stare at her. The noise was disturbing.
"Mom! How are you doing!"
Emma scoots up to the sickbed and knelt down in front of her mother, holding her cold hand. Her dry red eyes couldn't produce more tears, although she was sobbing. "Emma, don't cry. Don't make a scene!"
Her mother lifted her hand to fondle her daughter, weak voice sounded in her ears, which made Emma cry more.
"Mom? Don't worry. I will figure out solutions... To have the doctor cure you!"
Emma was devastated and talked while sobbing.
Her mother's gentle face made her reluctant to leave.
The corner of her mouth was up, shaking her head lightly. She grabbed her daughter's hand again and pressed hardly.
"You should take good care of yourself. Don't eat cold stuff and dress warm in cold weather. I may be ... You need to live a good life, so that I can feel better. Do you understand? Emma? "I don't... Mom, you will be fine, I am sure. I won't let you leave me... no..."
She didn't want to listen to her words and took her hands quickly, but her husky voice was echoing in the lobby.
The bystanders were looking at her miserable mother, but nobody dared to come up to help.
Suddenly, her mother's hands falling down in front of Emma's face and her mouth stopped moving, eyes closed, breathless.
Emma cried out loud heart-brokenly and fell hard to the floor, her hair mingled with her sweat.
