Love Is Bad, By All Means -
Chapter 22 Unbearable Past
"Is it really YOU? You are here..."
His excitement couldn't be disguised under his calm expression. He took over her hand, but was ditched mercilessly.
"Don't touch me..."
Emma felt disgusting deeply.
"Emma, I have been thing of you always. I didn't forget what happened that day, and I have tried my best to compensate. No matter if you forgive me or not, I will do it any way." His gentle eyes were all on her. He knew if only Emma was still alive, she wouldn't leave him alone.
"Really? Do you think you are the only one who remembered everything? Don't forget my mother died because of you. And don't forget you killed your own baby!"
Emma bit her lip hard, her hands at sides gripped tightly. Her eyes were watery and at the end she couldn't hold it any more.
She took away the cabbage in his hand and left the room with an indifferent look at him.
Back in the living room, she saw her father was sitting at the table. Suzie came up to take the cabbage away, while telling her to sit at table.
"Emma, come closer at my side!"
Her father was very happy, maybe because she was back, so that he had very good appetite.
"Uncle!"
The familiar voice sounded again behind her.
"Come and join us! The more people, the more fun"
Her father looked up and waved his hand to let Will come over for meal together, who was standing at the door, a bit awkward.
"Dad?"
Emma looked up, grudgingly.
"Miss, Mr. Balgley is a friend who came to visit our Lord often before. Have you forgotten?"
Suzie started to convince her. At the end, Will sat at the table on the side.
During the meal, Emma only ate a little and then put down the food and left.
"I am full!"
Will paused with the fork in the air, and then sat at the chair, following her passing by him in the corner of his eyes. "Miss, you didn't eat much today."
Suzie asked in doubts.
"Click..."
She was lying in bed for a nap and the bedroom door was open. She was motionless with her back to the door. However, after a while, a warm cover was put on her body and a male cracked voice sounded behind her. "It's getting colder, don't catch a cold!"
As you reach the final pages, remember that 000005s.com is your destination for the complete story. Share the joy of reading with others and spread the word. The next chapter is just a visit away! For a moment, Emma even wanted to sob. Actually, a drop of tears fell onto the pillow already.
She was reluctantly stretching her body after a nap. The hot sun was setting, coloring the sky with orange yellow.
After what happened at noon, Emma didn't want to leave the bedroom, because she knew she could run into Will everywhere. It could be better to stay in bedroom.
The phone on the table vibrated.
"What's up? What happened?
It was the assistant calling from the company. And Emma frowned her eyebrows unconsciously.
"I don't know who leaked the news. There are a lot of journalists at our company. The gate is packed with them."
The assistant sounded in a rush on the phone. It seemed she had no other choice but gave her a call.
"You try to make sure it won't go out of hand and I am coming soon!"
Emma hung up and grabbed her coat, rushing out.
In the living room, her father was sitting on the wheel chair with reading glasses. The paper in his hand was turning back and forth with crispy noise. "Dad, I need to handle some issues in the company. I am heading out now!"
Her father nodded slightly.
But soon after she was striding out, a powerful hand gripped her arm from behind.
"Where are you going? I can drive you over!"
Will seemed to show up from nowhere and said genuinely, which wouldn't be mistaken as a joke.
"I can do by myself. I don't need help. Please let go of my hand!"
Emma pretended to be calm.
"I know whenever you are worried, you would touch your ear unintentionally. I had driven you around before, so let me drive you today!"
Will mentioned intentionally about their affectionate past in order to awake her feelings towards him.
It served the purpose, and it did make her sad. But she would never forgive this man.
"It won't happen anymore!"
She opened the car door and drove away immediately after her words.
There were many journalists at the company gate like crazy, and they would come up to interrogate anyone who approached.
Her car shouldn't drive in from the main gate, but driving around the garage and stopped at the lobby.
"President, here you are finally!"
The assistant ran up from behind. Both took a look at the chaos outside, completely annoyed.
"What on earth has happened? I was away just for a couple of days! "
