Raegan Hayes was a little clueless right now.

The only thing I could think about since this afternoon was the doctor's words.

After a while, she took out the pregnancy test report from the bedside drawer.

Raegan had gone to the hospital for incessant stomach pain.

After a urine analysis, the doctor gave him the news. I was almost five weeks pregnant.

It was a shock to her. She and Mitchel had always used protection in their sexual relationships.

After racking his brain, he looked for the moment of conception. It turned out to be last month, after a party. Mitchel had taken her home and suddenly asked her at the door if she was in her safe period.

The pounding of water came from the bathroom. Mitchell was her husband. They had been secretly married for two years. It was his superior at work, the president of the Dixon Group.

After tossing and turning in bed, he got up and made himself a glass of hot milk.

Some blog notifications appeared on his phone.

The news read: "Famous designer Lauren Murray was spotted at the airport today with her mystery boyfriend."

Lauren was wearing a bucket hat. The man's figure was vague, but the outline of his body was enough to show that he was handsome.

Raegan zoomed in. The next second, his heart skipped a beat.

Mitchel was the man in the photo.

So he had canceled the afternoon meeting to go pick up his ex-girlfriend at the airport?

His hands shook. Unconsciously, he dialed Mitchel's number.

The ringtone brought him back to his senses. Just as he was going to hang up, the line connected and a voice came on the other end.

"Hello!"

It was a particularly soft woman's voice.

Raegan froze for a second and dropped the phone.

He suddenly felt nauseous in his stomach. Bile rose in his throat.

He covered his mouth, ran to the bathroom and vomited into the toilet bowl.

The next morning, Raegan went to work on time.

Mitchel had tried to get him to stop working after they got married.

Chief Deputy Matteo Jenkins was left in charge of Mitchel's important matters.
