Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew) -
Chapter 3372 Kill
The remaining guards caught a glimpse of their comrade's gruesome demise and were gripped by an even greater terror. Their fear fueled their legs, and they ran even faster.
Aelred's lips curled into a faint smile, and in the blink of an eye, he appeared behind one of the fleeing guards. His skeletal hand clamped around the guard's neck, lifting him effortlessly off the ground. The guard's face turned bright red as his legs flailed in the air, desperately trying to pry Aelred's hands from his throat.
Aelred's smile turned twisted and cruel. His blood-red eyes gleamed with even more intensity and savagery.
Crack!
The sickening sound of bones breaking echoed through the silence, and Aelred's smile grew wider.
Thud.
The lifeless body of the guard was tossed aside like garbage.
The last remaining guard turned pale, his legs trembling as he stumbled backward in terror. "Please don't kill me! I beg you, I'll do anything! I'll serve you!" he cried, trying to crawl away from the fast-approaching Aelred. Shk!
Aelred's hand pierced through the guard's chest. The man's terrified eyes dulled as his life slipped away. Aelred withdrew his blood-stained hand, satisfaction gleaming in his eyes.
Rocco and Anton, who had silently followed behind, stood without a word, watching the scene unfold.
"Rocco, remember this," Aelred said softly, his glowing red eyes casting a sideways glance at Rocco. "When I tell you to step back and stay away, you must listen."
Rocco nodded obediently. "I'll remember, Master."
Aelred, his skeletal figure moving with eerie grace, turned and said, "Let's go."
Rocco gave Anton a quick look, and Anton, filled with unease, pulled out his phone to make a call. Moments later, a black car came speeding toward them from down the street.
...
Out on the sea behind Everton, Rocco stood on the deck of a ship, arms outstretched, feeling the cool ocean breeze. The taste of freedom filled him with exhilaration.
"Doesn't this part of the sea belong to the royal family? I thought no ships were allowed in these waters," Rocco asked, glancing at Anton with curiosity.
"We've borrowed one of the cargo
ships from S&L's Breakfast, part of the fleet owned by Matthew
Larson's mother, Helen Freemanet
The Montirian navy will
automatically allow us passage when they see the ship," Anton explained respectfully.
During his time in Montiria, Anton had learned about Rocco's achievements. He had risen as the most trusted strategist under Toby, then aligned himself with King Gadel, eventually becoming the commander of the notorious Gloam
Division.
Rocco's influence and abilities led Anton to one conclusion: once this young sir returned to the
Cunningham family in Bainbridge, he would surely be favored by the patriarch. The other heirs would pale in comparison to Rocco's skills. Anton knew he had to demonstrate his loyalty early.
Rocco's eyes gleamed as he looked at Anton. "Can you show me the route we're taking?"
"Of course." Anton pulled out a map of the Montirian and Seraphis sea routes. "We are currently here," Anton pointed. "Do you know Basha's Sacred Mount?"
Rocco nodded. Not only did he know it, but he had fought there with Toby in the past.
"We are heading toward Basha's Sacred Mount now. After we pass it, we'll sail through the Balira Sea, behind the mountain, and then enter the Seraphis sea route. From there, we will eventually reach international waters." Rocco followed Anton's finger along the map, his mind racing with calculations.
"Hold on!"
