Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew) -
Chapter 3371 Unlocking
In the stillness of the cell, only the sound of the turning key could be heard, and the atmosphere grew increasingly heavy.
As Rocco unlocked the iron door with a sharp creak, the blood-red eyes inside the cell seemed to grow even more violent and bloodthirsty.
"Hahaha, good disciple, hurry and release me from these shackles!" Aelred's raspy voice was filled with excitement.
Rocco stepped into the cell, with Anton Cunningham holding a lantern for him. The faint glow illuminated Aelred's face-pale but surprisingly gentle-looking, except for the pair of crimson, savage eyes that marred his otherwise serene expression. Rocco inserted the key into the iron shackles binding Aelred's limbs.
Click.
The crisp sound of the lock opening echoed through the cell, and the iron chains that had bound Aelred's hands for decades finally fell away.
Before Rocco could unlock the remaining shackles, Aelred's withered hand gripped the iron lock around his ankle. With a single squeeze, the unbreakable chains shattered under his raw strength.
He slowly stood up, stretching his body as if awakening from a long sleep. The air around him seemed to grow heavier as he moved, and the cracking sounds of his joints echoed like popping beans. Rocco knelt respectfully before Aelred, bowing deeply before speaking. "Disciple Rocco Cunningham greets his master!"
Aelred's pale face twisted into a violent grin as he patted Rocco's shoulder. "I keep my promises. From today forward, you are my chosen heir."
"Thank you for your favor, Master."
Aelred stepped out of the cell, his blood-red eyes gleaming with murderous intent. He spoke softly, "Let's go. Time to let those fools outside know I'm still alive."
Rocco, following closely behind, watched Aelred with a flicker of anticipation in his eyes. He answered respectfully, "Yes, Master."
Outside the death row prison, a few guards were yawning at their post.
"Standing around here all day is so boring."
"You're telling me. I miss that widow on the east side of town... nothing quite like her," one of the guards said, a wistful look crossing his face. "Widows are fine, but the girls at the brothel, now they know how to treat you right," another guard added, earning a knowing chuckle from the others.
Just as they were about to continue their conversation, the iron door behind them suddenly exploded
outward. The massive door shotet
across the street like a cannonball, crashing into the opposite wall with a deafening impact.
The guards froze in terror, staring wide-eyed at the smashed door embedded in the wall. Their hearts raced as they turned toward the dark corridor behind them.
Out of the shadows, a figure stepped forward, his bony hand shielding his eyes from the sunlight, clearly unaccustomed to the brightness.
"It's that murderer, Aelred!"
"Go alert the royal guard! Aelred has escaped!"
In a panic, the guards scattered in every direction. They knew if they stayed together, Aelred would hunt them down one by one.
As the guards, fled, Aelred's
blood-red eyes filled with contempt.

"Just because I've been locked away for decades, they think they can outrun me," Aelred muttered. He casually snapped a branch from a nearby tree, his eyes gleaming with bloodlust. "Christ said all things are without form or color."
A surge of blood-red energy enveloped the branch in Aelred's hand before it shot forward like a missile. One of the fleeing guards gasped, his eyes bulging as the crimson branch pierced his chest.
In an instant, the branch exploded
inside the quard's body, sending
splinters tearing through him. The
left
violent eruption of wood spikes his body riddled with countless tiny holes as they tore through flesh and bone, killing him instantly
