Man With Super Medical Skill (Matthew)
Chapter 3384 Notification to Eastcliff

Leanna's words made Matthew pause for a moment.

It seemed the Cunningham Family's plan was quite thorough this time. They hadn't only targeted his businesses in Montiria with an economic blockade and commercial monopoly but had also extended their reach to his enterprises in Eastcliff. "Leanna, notify the major families in Eastcliff. Tell them I want to meet, and they should send a representative. Also, let them know they won't leave empty-handed."

"Understood. I'll contact them right away," Leanna replied before hanging up the phone.

A glint of determination flashed in Matthew's eyes. So, they still think they can corner me... He thought, his resolve hardening.

Meanwhile, in Eastcliff, Samuel was seated in his traditional, elegant tea room in the attic of Hughes Manor, leisurely sipping his tea. The room, built entirely with ancient wood and brick, had no modern electronics, designed to offer a peaceful, old-world ambiance. Samuel found comfort in such tranquility, especially on rainy days like this.

As the light rain pattered outside, Samuel took another sip of tea, savoring the moment. A favorite poem of his came to mind.

In the cottage, I rest and hear the rain, Dreams wrapped in moss, where time leaves no stain.

Suddenly, his peaceful afternoon was interrupted by his old butler, Bertram Hughes, who rushed in. "Master, you have a phone call."

Samuel frowned, displeased by the disruption. "Bertram, how many times have I told you not to be so hasty?" he said, casting an annoyed glance at the long-serving butler.

"It's Miss Leanna Sandel from the Sandel Family, sir," Bertram replied respectfully.

At that, Samuel's demeanor changed instantly. "What? Quick, give me the phone!" He stood up, eager to take the call. Bertram handed over the phone, though he couldn't help but think to himself, So much for being calm and collected.

Samuel hurriedly answered the call, his tone composed but excited. Any call from Leanna was significant, as everyone in Eastcliff knew about her close relationship with Matthew Whenever Leanna called, it usually meant Matthew had important matters to discuss with the Hughes Family.

"Master Hughes, it's Leanna."

"Yes, Miss Sandel, how can I help you?" Samue responded, glancing briefly at a piece of paper on his desk. It was a recent report delivered by one of his staff detailing how Matthew had been hit by an economic blockade initiated by the Damron, Cunningham, and Lullaby families just an hour ago.

"Master Hughes, I'm sure you've heard by now that the Cunningham Family and several others have launched an economic blockade against Mr. Larson?" "Yes, I've just been informed."

"Initially, Mr. Larson was prepared to break through the blockade on his own, but he thought of the major families in Eastcliff. So, he's decided to invite all of you to join him in the effort and make some money along the way." Samuel's eyes lit up in response. "And what's the plan, Miss Sandel?" he asked, eager to know how they would dismantle the blockade imposed by the Cunningham Family and their allies.

"All we need right now is for you, Master Hughes, to contact the other major patriarchs. Have them send representatives to Hulwin. I can assure you that no matter the outcome, it will be worth your while."

Though Leanna hadn't promised

outright success, her tone left little

doubt. With Matthew's reputation and connections, countless businessmen would eagerly support him financially, not to mention the resources of the Martial League, which could provide significant backing.

"Understood, Miss Sandel. Leave it to me," Samuel agreed without hesitation.
