The whole ordeal lasted the entire night.

When Brielle woke up and caught sight of the ceiling, she paused for a moment. Why did it look so familiar?

A hand was draped across her waist, and she was still nestled in his embrace. Her phone buzzed on the nightstand, flashing a call from the bigwigs at Stellar Stage Entertainment, announcing it was time to sign the official contract for her streaming gig. Brielle sprang to her feet, but the sight of the handsome figure sprawled on the bed made her hesitate. Just seeing his face every day was enough to make her happy.

Attempting to get dressed, her legs gave out, nearly sending her tumbling to the floor. Thankfully, a strong hand caught her from behind. "Headed to the office?"

"Yeah, the streaming deal is all set. Plus, Stellar Stage Entertainment's planning a few reality shows. I need to check out the schedule."

And with Stellar Stage Entertainment signing new talents left and right, she needed to review them as well.

King lowered his gaze, his lips brushing against her shoulder, where traces of the previous night still lingered. A gentle bite sent a shiver through Brielle's body. If Max tried his hand in the entertainment industry, he'd leave no room for anyone else. He was just too handsome. "Max, you coming with me?"

King hugged her tightly, then let go. "I'd love to, but I've got to sort out the luggage from yesterday. Come back soon."

Brielle's cheeks flushed as she feigned nonchalance. "Okay, wait for me at home."

She emphasized "at home," feeling a sense of belonging despite her initial discomfort with the decor. But after spending a night here, it felt right.

Rushing out, she bumped into Isaac in the yard, busy with the lanterns. He seemed to have a thing for these traditional Australian decorations. Her heart melted on the spot.

She rushed over and scooped him up. "If you like these lanterns, we can hang more for New Year's."

Isaac's eyes sparkled, his cheeks flushing with excitement. "Really?"

"Of course, little cicada. Whatever you want, just tell me or your dad."

Missing out on watching him grow was a regret, but missing out if he was her own would be even harder. No mother wants to miss her child's growing years.

Isaac smiled shyly, then looked away. "I want five."

Pointing at the lanterns, Brielle was smitten. "No problem! Fifty! Even five hundred!"

Just as she was about to add more, her phone rang again with a call from Stellar Stage Entertainment, forcing her to leave Isaac and head to the office.

Upon arriving, she met Aubree first. Aubree noticed the marks on

Brielle's neck and raised an eyebrow. Whether it was Max or King, things seemed intense. Didn't anyone suggest Brielle wear a scarf, or was it intentional?

"Bri, seems like your love life's going well. I'm swamped over here."

Brielle glanced at Aubree's packed schedule. Being the hottest actress came with its demands.

"Aubree, if you're feeling

overwhelmed, why not join a reality show? Stellar Stage Entertainment.is funding travel-based show. It's

basically stars eating and drink net

their way through a trip, gaining followers and sparking

conversations, all on the company's dime. How about it?"

Aubree's interest was piqued, but the thought of actress drama dampened her enthusiasm. "I'll think about it."

She yawned and settled on the

couch, falling asleep within a minute. Brielle started sorting through the day's documents.

Emma was confirmed as the fol net

streamer, while Leona had fallen from grace, losing her star status amidst a sea of online hate.

Reviewing another file, Brielle's interest was caught by Ricardo. Having recently seen his movie, she recognized his talent. Ricardo remained an enigma, always keeping a low profile. She covered the sleeping Aubree with a blanket before going to meet Ricardo. Finding him in the tea room, she greeted him, "Ricardo."

He looked up, his smile warm. "Mr. Haywood."

His charm was undeniable, surely he'd have been the campus heartthrob anywhere.

"Mr. Haywood, I need to discuss something with you, some personal matters."
