FLASHBACK!!

Tiara g*****d, tossing on the bed again. One month had passed since that incident in which she was running like a coward. She had been avoiding Wylder’s calls and messages like the plague. She couldn’t help but feel guilty for crossing her line when she shouldn’t.

‘Ah! That’s great that I’m not returning to LA for a couple of months.’ She thought, ignoring Wylder’s call. She was staying away from her home because of her shoot, so she was glad that he wouldn’t reach her home.

She was embarrassed by the thought that she would talk to him if he ended up being the reason why she ended up kissing him. Or brought that topic up?

Could she tell that she was thinking about him a lot lately?

Could she tell him that she was attracted to him?

Could she tell him that she had started liking him? Not that she wanted to. She wanted to keep herself away from the thought of love or anywhere near it.

Tiara tried to date a couple of men on the dating app to distract her mind from Wylder, but she couldn’t find a single man who wasn’t clingy and irritating.

She agreed that she had made a fake account with the name of her manager, Michelle, and all the details that belonged to her. But she had uploaded her real picture from the back. She would have revealed her identity, but things didn’t go the way she planned.

Either those men ended up asking for her photos from the front or, after talking to her for a while, they wanted proof that they were really talking to a girl, and they wanted to see stupid pictures to confirm their doubt, like pictures of her boobs or her thigh.

She told a couple of them that she was the make-up artist for actress Tiara Haysbert, and then the topic of chat shifted to the actress. It was clear that they wanted the fake makeup artist to get near the real Tiara Haysbert.

She heard the doorbell of her suite and wondered who would have been there at eleven at night. She left the bed, thinking it might be Michelle who would be here to update her on tomorrow’s schedule, but then didn’t she already update her about it?

The moment, she opened the door, she wasn’t expecting to see Wylder standing in front of her. They kept staring at each other for a while but didn’t say anything.

“Done ignoring me?” Wylder inquired, pushing her inside her suite as if this place belonged to him. Well, he felt that he had that right in her life. Tiara kept looking at his back for a while before closing the door. She couldn’t dare ask him why he was there. Because she already knew the answer to this question.

But how did he know that she was here?

She followed him and found him in the kitchen. That was when she saw that he had brought some food with him and diet coke for her.

“Here!!” He gave her her favorite drink.

“Thank you.” She whispered and watched him eat the junk food that he had brought with her. She had to bite her inner cheeks to stop herself from thinking about the food. She wanted to eat them, but without Dora, her metabolism wasn’t as high as it had been, and because her mother was healthy, and everyone else in her family was, she couldn’t risk getting healthy.

Tiara had found this out just a few weeks after she lost Dora. And since then, she has been strict with her diet, even though she isn’t a big fan of tasteless food.

“Since when did you start running like a coward, Ara?” He asked, taking a big bite of the burger. Tiara didn’t reply to him on that part. “Hey, we are still best friends, right? You can share everything with me.”

“I’m scared that I will end up messing up everything.” She replied and sat on the kitchen counter, enjoying her coke at the same time.

“You won’t,” Wylder spoke even though he knew that the truth was far from this.

“You’re a werewolf, Wild. And I’m sure that you can smell things and emotions. So, the thing is, I want a distraction in my life. Because I’m going crazy. The last thing the desperate person inside me wants to do is run to Theodore after knowing that his business is in the human world.”

“So, this was the reason behind your suicide attempt?” Wylder asked. Though he had gotten an idea from Michelle, she informed him later what exactly had happened and why Tiara’s mood had turned 180 degrees. Michelle couldn’t understand why Tiara’s smiling face turned dark before she left the shoot without informing anyone. “LIA Jewelers Ltd. Hmm?”

“You shoot a couple of advertisements for them without charging a penny.” He pointed out that she bit her lips and nodded her head without hesitation.

“His company is still growing. So, a little help won’t damage anything.” She said, shrugging her shoulders.

‘And that man called her selfish.’ Wylder thought. He would surely give him a piece of mind if he met him in person. For now, he wouldn’t waste his time meeting Theodore because he didn’t think that man deserved even a second of attention in his life, but maybe someday their paths would surely cross.

“And about the suicide attempt.” Tiara chuckled before speaking: “I was taking a bath that evening, and maybe I slept inside the tub. So, I wasn’t intentionally killing myself even though…

“How could you be so careless?” Wylder shouted, knowing that he couldn’t growl. He gave her a lecture for the next ten minutes, and she pouted, not liking to get scolded like a kid. She couldn’t help but watch his lips, which were continuously moving, to distract herself.

“Why did you k**s me back, Wild?” She asked, cutting him off in between his scolding. “Are you too attracted to me?” She asked again.

‘Are you too attracted to me?’ This was the only sentence that replayed in his mind. ‘It means that she is attracted to me? Can I consider it progress?’ He asked himself.

Hell, yeah!

“Well, I can’t deny the part that you’re sexy and hot. “Any man can be attracted to you,” Wylder said, trying to contain his joy. He didn’t want to freak her out because he knew that she didn’t want love in her life.

“Not everyone.” Tiara smiled sadly but soon changed the topic. “Do you know that when I was a teenager, I used to think that you were gay?” I found you watching porn with Calvin once, in which a man was licking the d**k of another one.”

“WHAT?” Wylder screamed in shock. That porn incident was just a coincidence. He went to call Calvin for dinner when he noticed him watching porn, so he sat beside him to see what he was so interested in.
