Only a very small number of people knew that Calvin was ambiphilic in the beginning until he finally decided to choose his interest over women over men.

“You can’t blame me, can you? I have never seen you with any woman or any girl. I have always seen you with men. Neither did you talk about any females. But then you told me that you used to like me once, and that was when I realized that there might be a chance that you’re ambiphilic (or bisexual).” Tiara pointed it out.

Wylder didn’t know how to react to her words. Should he get offended or laugh? First her brother, then gay?

“I can’t believe you.” He chuckled. “I mean, there’s no offense in getting attracted toward people of the same s*x.” He said, shaking his head. “But I’m heterosexual, and I’m sure about that. Hell, I never took interest in men. I’m more into p***y than dicks.” With that, he laughed, and Tiara joined him in laughing at her stupidity.

“So, you are only interested in females?”

‘No. I’m only interested in you.

“Yes! And I’m positive about that part.”

“Does that also mean that your fate was female?”

“Yes!!”

“You never talked about her?” “Why is that?”

“To know that you have to become mine, Ara.” He said it in a teasing tone, showing that he was joking but knowing that he wasn’t. The reason he couldn’t tell her about his past was that if he did, he would have to tell her his real feelings about her.

“Fine! Don’t tell me.” She grumbled. “But didn’t you try to date someone after rejecting her?”

“No.”

“Not for even casual things?” I mean, s*x? Every werewolf needs that.”

“Not everyone, Ara! If you can control your desire in the beginning, then it’s a piece of cake.” He spoke calmly.

“Have… have you ever…” She didn’t know how to finish that question. She didn’t want to offend him.

“No. I’m a virgin.” Tiara looked at him in awe. He gave her the feeling of her father. He was a virgin, and her mother was the first woman he ever tasted.

“Wow!! I pray to the Moon Goddess that she will bless you with a second chance mate for whom you’re saving your virginity.” Tiara said.

“I don’t want a second chance mate,” Wylder said quickly, shaking his head. “Not after what happened the first time. It’s not that I want to stay a virgin, Ara, like your elder brother Colton, but at the same time, I just can’t sleep with a random girl just like that Calvin.”

“Oh! Does that mean you want s*x?” Tiara teased him.

“As if you don’t.” Wylder pointed out, munching his noddles, and looked at the little amount of clothing on her skin. She was wearing a maroon-colored sexy nightgown that reached her thighs. Tiara was someone who had a habit of dressing up, even for herself.

Tiara observed how he was looking at her. It was the first time she had observed hunger or l**t in his eyes for her. Or perhaps it was the first time he was doing it, and he didn’t care if he was caught.

“I’m not sure this is a good idea, Wild, even though we both want the same thing,” Tiara said, taking a deep breath. “It will ruin our friendship if feelings get involved, and I’m looking for anything but any sort of feelings. And you’re a keeper, Wild, not this type of guy.”

“I’m already losing people who were close to me. I don’t want to add your name to that list.”

“And you will never lose me, Ara. Don’t you think that it should be me who decides all this?” Wylder asked. Tiara stayed silent while he ate his food. He took time to discuss it with Night. They knew that this wasn’t what they wanted, but at the same time, neither of them wanted to lose whatever they were getting.

The worst situation would be when Tiara would choose someone as her distraction, which they couldn’t let happen. He was well aware of making a fake ID on the dating app because she had told Michelle about it, and she updated the same thing for him.

‘This is risky, human. As much as this looks like a great offer, it will tear our hearts apart because I can’t imagine the pain that will come with this offer wrapped in the golden box when she doesn’t fall in love with us at the end.’

‘I want to take risks. You always told me to make some moves. So, tonight, I’m doing this.’

‘I did. But I don’t want you to get hurt in this process as well. I want to claim her as mine! Mine.’

Wylder thought about it after talking with Night. And he knew that all this would ruin their friendship, but he wanted to lie about it.

A small lie wouldn’t harm anything. At least not for now.

“What are your feelings for me, Ara? Except for the part about that friendship, of course. I want to know if you want s*x from anyone as a distraction or just me.” He asked, not telling her that he already knew what she was doing behind his back. He didn’t want her options spread among everyone.

“To be honest, you’re my one and only choice, Wild. Since I didn’t want to ruin this with you, I tried to date others, but they all gave me creepy feelings. At the same time, I couldn’t help but compare them with your qualities, but soon I realized that I was insulting you by doing that.”

“Wild, I want you. I couldn’t stop myself from thinking about you after kissing you.” She admitted it in a low tone and watched him walk toward the sink to keep the used plate in the sink. He washed his hands before looking at her, and then he walked toward her. He pushed her legs apart and settled in the middle, placing his palm on the counter.

He didn’t miss how her heartbeat fastened by observing the position in which they were.

“I’m scared to lose you, Wild.”

“You won’t. I promise.” Wylder spoke softly. “Just like you want, we will keep this thing out of your feelings. You don’t want to fall in love and trust me, I won’t fall for you.”

“Because I already have fallen for you.”

“We will be like friends with benefits kind of thing, okay?”

“Okay!” Tiara nodded her head. A part of her was scared because she knew where all these things led. ‘Maybe things can be different in our case.’ She tried to convince herself.

“So, everything is clear now?” He inquired, and she nodded once more. She wondered, “Where did her voice go? And why the hell was she nodding like Liara instead of using her mouth?

“I want to set some rules, though. In case you want to stay safe.”She spoke up because she wasn’t convinced that there would be no feelings or emotions involved.”One, both of us will have the right to step out of this arrangement if we want to without explaining a thing to another one. Second, since no feelings will be attached to it, none of us is allowed to interfere in each other’s life like a girlfriend or boyfriend.”

Night fumed in anger, hearing those stupid rules. It was really going to be too hard to follow those rules. It was something that he knew he couldn’t follow, but Wylder still wanted to take a chance.

“My rule is that you must leave this arrangement before cheating on me. I mean, just because things will be casual, I don’t want…”

“I will never do that, Wild.” Tiara cut in between them and wrapped her hand around his neck.”I will never cheat on you. Hell, I can never do this to anyone. In case I ever feel like developing feelings for someone else, which is almost impossible, then I will first come to you and tell me the truth and talk with you before hurting you in the worst way possible.”

Her words fluttered hearing her words. He really hoped that someday he would end up with more than this.

They both stared at each other for a while before Wylder wrapped his hand around her waist and brought her closer to him to inhale her fragrance.

“If you want, I can teach you how to do s*x.” She teased him.

“I might be a virgin, but I’m not naive, Princess.” He teased her back. He knew how much she hated the title “princess.”

“I’m not a princess. I’m a queen who is born to rule.” She snapped.

“We will find that out on the bed, then who will rule over whom?” With that, he lifted her round, firm a*s from the kitchen counter to take her to the room. Tiara chuckled before wrapping her legs around his waist. If they shared any other similar feelings to each other than s*x, then it was FEAR.

Fear. That was how this was going to end.
