Chapter 32 What a miracle!

Standing next to Zack, Dillon couldn't help asking, "Sir, won't you go with your wife and son?" "Do you think I'm childish enough to go on the bumper cars?" Zack responded in a low voice. Sensing the coldness in his tone, Dillon closed his mouth and stopped talking.

Sure enough, it was impossible to expect Zack to go on the bumper cars with his wife and son like an ordinary father.

Meanwhile, Daryl and Benjamin, who queued in line for the tickets, had to wait for another round until they got inside.

Although Benjamin was still young, he had already shown exemplary driving skills. Having played many car games, the kid was undeniably the best driver on the scene.

So, after playing for a round, both Benjamin and Daryl came out with satisfaction evident on their faces.

"Baby, you are awesome!"

Daryl lowered her head and planted a kiss on his forehead.

Benjamin was so happy to have received a kiss from his mother.

Zack's face was so dark as if he wanted to bomb the entire amusement park. So, Dillon immediately asked the mother and son,

"Bennie, Mrs. Ji, what are you going to play next?"

Dillon then soon realized that Zack asked him to come with them because he was the most discerning one among his subordinates. He could easily guess whatever was running on Zack's mind. "Let's go on the merry-go-round!

Mommy, you can't take those dangerous rides!" Benjamin said sensibly.

'He is so considerate!' Daryl thought, obviously moved. "Then, I'll go buy the tickets,"

Dillon offered and took a look at Zack. "Well, sir, would you like to..."

Before he could even finish his words, Zack looked daggers at him.

Instantly, Dillon pressed his lips together and left to buy the tickets.

Seeing this, Daryl couldn't help complaining in her head. How could Zack act this way when they were supposed to have fun together as a family?

Not long after, Dillon came back and handed the two tickets to Daryl and Benjamin.

Once the two were settled in their seats, Dillon took out his camera.

"Sir, it wasn't easy to take photos of Mrs. Ji and Bennie when they played bumper cars. But I think now it would be easier."

Hearing this, Zack gazed at Daryl, who was smiling happily on the merry-go-round. Even he had to admit that it was a perfect moment to take photos of her.

When he didn't say anything, Dillon immediately understood that his boss acquiesced.

So, he just shrugged his shoulders and quickly took some photos.

After several shots, Zack walked to him and said, "Let me have a look."

Dillon quickly handed the camera without any hesitation.

Zack flipped through the photos one by one, which were all filled with Benjamin's and Daryl's bright smiles.

Zack was also in the last photo. He was standing outside the merry-go-round while gazing at Daryl and Benjamin. In the photo, it looked like Daryl and Benjamin were staring at Zack. It took Dillon a lot of time and effort to capture this photo. When Dillon wondered whether Zack would like these photos, he heard him ask in a low voice,

"How much is this camera?"

"Thirteen thousand dollars," Dillon answered right away.

Calmly, Zack uttered in an indifferent voice, "Okay. Go back and get three times the money yourself."

What he really meant was that he would take the camera for himself.

Hearing that, Dillon came to his senses. In fact, he knew Zack really wanted the photos in the camera, so without any hesitation, he replied, "Yes, sir."

At the same time, Daryl and Benjamin came back with beads of sweating on their foreheads. But even then, the two were still full of energy. Right away, Benjamin broke free from them and went ahead to go on the pirate ship ride. As Daryl couldn't go accompany him, she walked to Zack and said, "Hey, Zack, how about you join Bennie this time?"

Daryl tried to reason with him. "Look at the other kids. They all have their parents accompanying them."

With his thin lips pursed into a straight line, Zack narrowed his deep black eyes with displeasure and stared at her.

"I can go.

But, what's in it for me?" he asked, raising his brows.

'Why does he need something in return to play with his own son? And why is he asking it from me?' Daryl thought to herself. "What do you want?"

Daryl asked. "As long as I can do it, then fine." She didn't dare to tell him what was on her mind. I'll think about it later.

Once again, Daryl fell into his trap. Ecstatic, Zack's thin lips unconsciously curved into a smile.

Dillon was about to accompany Benjamin after he bought two tickets.

However, as soon as he came back, Zack snatched away the tickets from his hand.

"Let's go."

Zack then grabbed his son's collar and took him away.

Shocked, Benjamin wondered if his father was possessed. Why did he agree to accompany him on that childish ride? What a miracle!

Even Dillon was surprised to see his boss walking away with his son.

"Mrs. Ji, am I seeing it wrong?" he asked in disbelief. "Hmmm..."

Daryl snorted and looked at them helplessly. Even she was also utterly confused. Zack had grasped many of her weaknesses, and she felt that soon enough, she would fall into his hands.

Dillon, on the other hand, thought that Zack had probably done that for Daryl's sake.

He had seen through the truth, but at this moment, he could only silently hold it in his heart.

When the ship gradually gained momentum, most of the kids and adults aboard screamed in horror. Benjamin was shouting in excitement instead of fear. Beside him was Zack, who bore a cold, expressionless face as if he was just sitting on steady ground.
