Miss, My Father loves you
Chapter 33 May I Friend You On WeChat

After the pirate ship had halted, some who boarded it vomited right away after going down, while others bore a frightened look on their faces.

Sure enough, the ride was really famous for its thrill.

But surprisingly, Zack and Benjamin came down looking very natural and calm.

"Mommy!"

The moment Benjamin returned to Daryl's side, his face turned sullen and dreadful. He pitifully held her leg, and cried, "Waah! Mommy, I was so scared!"

"You little liar."

Daryl was not fooled by him. Instead, she smiled dotingly and added, "Don't think I didn't see it just now. You were so excited when you shouted."

The little boy knew that his mother had seen through his facade, so he held her awkwardly and refused to let her go. "But, I don't feel good after that ride, Mommy. Please comfort me!"

"Okay,"

Daryl helplessly gave in. Knowing that Benjamin just wanted to be babied, a grin slowly crept on her lips. She reached out and patted his soft little head. The little boy's coquetry really made her unable to resist. Standing aside and watching his son's shameless behavior, Zack didn't know whether he should laugh or be mad.

This brat could utterly fool Daryl as he liked.

However, after those three rides, Benjamin was evidently worn out. So, Dillon went to buy drinks for the family while Zack took Daryl and Benjamin to a bench for a rest. "Daddy, I want a balloon!"

Benjamin exclaimed, pointing at the balloon seller not far away. "I want the one with Iron Man on it!"

"Buy it yourself," Zack replied in a low voice out of habit.

"But I'm tired. I can't stand up and run anymore,"

Benjamin complained, pouting. He leaned against Daryl's chest and snuggled for his mother's warm embrace.

Zack frowned, wanting to teach his son a lesson. But when he turned around, he was met by Daryl's big, innocent eyes.

It seemed as though she was begging him to buy the balloon for Benjamin.

Immediately, Zack retracted his gaze and stood up without saying anything. He then walked towards the vendor.

It was only when he had fully approached the seller that he came back to his senses. 'Damn it!' he cursed internally.

But since he had already come here, it would be more embarrassing if he didn't buy it. So, with a gloomy expression, Zack was forced to buy the Iron Man balloon.

He was about to turn around and leave after paying when two girls ran over and stopped him.

"Hey, may I friend you on WeChat?"

"I want it too! Are you a tourist? We are local people. If you want to take a look around the city, we can take you!

Their faces were beet red while their voices showcased the excitement in their hearts.

Zack had never experienced such a thing since he was always riding a car when roaming around the city. Even if he went to a public place, his bodyguards would flock around him. So, being out like this all by himself was something so rare. Yet, he felt nothing when facing these two fashionable girls.

"Done?"

He frowned. "Excuse me, please."

Surprised, the girls were frozen to their feet. It felt like they were hit by ten thousand punches in the gut. No one had ever rejected them like that.

But Zack didn't want to waste time with them, so he walked past them without saying anything.

Meanwhile, Daryl and Benjamin, who were both not far away, saw this scene.

"Daddy, why were those girls talking to you?"

Benjamin questioned Zack as soon as the latter came back.

Daryl also glanced at him curiously and thought, 'Looks like those girls wanted his phone number.' It was normal for a handsome man like Zack to be asked for his phone number in public. After all, he was indeed a head-turner, and girls would swoon all over him. But Daryl didn't know how he responded to those girls.

"They wanted to friend me on WeChat."

Zack threw the stupid balloon to Benjamin and sat down beside Daryl.

It turned out Daryl's guess was right.

"Did you do it?" she asked curiously, slightly furrowing her brows.

Hearing this, Zack cast a cold glance at her and replied, "Do you think I would? Don't you know that all the companies in D City want my phone number and friend me on WeChat? You're really asking me this?"

For a moment, Daryl was caught tongue-tied.

Zack sounded reasonable, but she still felt something was wrong.

At this time, Benjamin also nodded in agreement. "Yes, Mommy. Daddy is right."

"Okay,"

Daryl simply responded. Her mind was thrown into a mess, but she didn't want to sort it out.

Thankfully, Dillon came back with drinks, so they had a rest while sipping their drinks.

"What would you like for lunch?"

Daryl glanced at her wristwatch and found that it was almost noon.

"Mommy, I want to eat barbecue!" Benjamin raised his hand and exclaimed in a tone filled with excitement. "No," Zack immediately refuted in a cold tone.

Sandwiched between the two, Daryl thought it was probably alright to let Benjamin eat barbecue once in a while.

But judging from the firm expression on Zack's face, it seemed that there no hope for him to agree.

"Daddy, just this time. Please!"

Benjamin pouted and acted like a spoiled child. "I have never enjoyed the outdoor barbecue with my parents!"

It was Daryl who couldn't bear it anymore. So, in a soft voice, she called, "Zack..."

Seconds had passed, and yet there was still no response from him.

Meanwhile, Dillon, who was silently watching them, was betting that his boss wouldn't be able to resist the plea of his wife and son.

In the end, Zack was indeed defeated by the mother and son.

"Fine, Benjamin. But if your stomach aches tonight, don't come to me," Zack uttered coldly while seriously eyeing his son.

"Okay!"

Benjamin promised confidently.

But in his heart, he really didn't need his daddy as long as his mommy was beside him.

Several barbecue stalls were erected in the amusement park. The family could rent an area where they could be served with food and grill on their own. Daryl and Dillon were busy preparing the barbecue, while Benjamin went to fetch his favorite food. While he was busy getting his own food, the poor little kid was pulled by several ladies for a picture.

Instead of being annoyed, Benjamin didn't refuse and even seemed to enjoy the attention.

Meanwhile, Daryl began to grill. Having been used to go out with Sofia, Daryl was skilled in cooking.

Soon, the smell of barbecue filled the air, and Benjamin and Dillon began to eat.

Only Zack didn't enjoy one bite of the meat and instead ate a little fruit salad in front of him.

He had never eaten such food, which was known to both Dillon and Benjamin. However, Daryl thought it was inappropriate not to give him any food.

So, she prepared a skewer of vegetables for him. Considering that he usually ate bland food, she specially lightened the taste.
