Chapter 53 Don't You Ever Bully Mommy

"Don't get so close to me, Zack."

Daryl remembered what she promised last night, but Zack was so close to her that the pressure suddenly weighed on her.

After Zack heard what she said, his face turned sour. 'She just massaged Benjamin in the car, but now she is saying I'm too close to her? I can't believe it!'

Zack stood upright with a long face.

Daryl didn't expect him to stand up so obediently, but there was a new problem.

She wore a pair of flat slippers. He was much taller than she was. She didn't know if she was able to kiss his face on tiptoe.

After slight hesitation, Daryl muttered, "I didn't say that you should stay that far away from me.

Why are you so tall?"

Zack lowered his head and frowned. 'This woman is so hard to please. I already did what she asked me to do, and yet she is still not satisfied with it.' Daryl finally made up her mind.

She took one step forward and mustered up her courage. She stood on tiptoe and put her face on his cheek. But she couldn't reach him. Daryl simply placed her hands on his shoulders and stood much higher. She then successfully kissed his cheek! After Daryl kissed him, she quickly let him go. Her cheeks flushed cherry red as she lowered her head. "Was that okay?"

"Okay,"

Zack answered her lightly. She didn't forget about the agreement and that put him in a better mood.

"Wow, Daddy, Mommy, you were kissing behind my back!"

Just when the atmosphere between the two turned awkward, a childish voice interrupted them.

Benjamin woke up and wanted to get a glass of water to drink, but didn't expect to see his parents kissing in the corridor.

It was so amazing!

The moment that Daryl spotted the little guy, her cherry red cheeks were as red as tomatoes. She glared at Zack. She was shy and angry at the same time. It was all his fault! "Well, Bennie, it's not like that."

Daryl wanted to say that Zack just teased her out of pure boredom.

But the little boy wouldn't listen. "It doesn't matter, Mommy. I'm very happy to see your relationship grow deeper and deeper."

Casting a scornful glance at his son,

Zack bent down and picked him up. "Go to bed," he ordered in a cold voice.

"Daddy, no!" Benjamin struggled. "I'm thirsty, and I want to drink water. Mommy, please get me a glass of water.

Daryl was bewildered. She didn't know if she wanted to cry or to laugh. "Okay, Bennie. Go back to your room now. Mommy will go get you some water."

Zack carried his son back to his room and tucked him into bed.

Benjamin wrapped his arms around Zack's neck. "Daddy, be honest with me. When have you won Mommy's heart?"

Once Zack heard his son's question, he frowned. "What do you mean? Your mom and I are not like what you see."

"Humph!" The little boy's lips formed into a disdained frown. "I saw you two kissing with my own two eyes. I am not wrong!" Zack didn't know how to explain. "Go to bed after you drink your water."

"Daddy, you don't want to admit it? Fine!" Benjamin snorted. "Anyway, sooner or later you will be a slave for Mommy." 'What? This brat!'

When Daryl entered Benjamin's room with a glass of water, Zack had already left.

"Bennie, drink some water."

She walked to his bedside and called him.

Benjamin popped his head from under the blanket and looked up at her. "Thank you, Mommy!" After he had drunk half the glass of water in one go, Benjamin held Daryl's hand. "Mommy, I also want to a kiss," he said in a spoiled tone. Daryl smiled. She lowered her head and gently kissed his forehead. "Alright, baby, go to sleep."

"Good night, Mommy!"

After leaving the child's room, Daryl walked back to her room to get some rest.

The next morning, as Zack strode downstairs, he encountered his son.

The child walked proudly past him with his head held high.

"Mommy kissed me last night!"

It was the first time that Zack wanted to beat his own son.

In a striking moment of coincidence, Daryl also walked out of the room at this time. She greeted Benjamin with a smile,

"Good morning, Bennie."

"Good morning, Mommy. What do you want to eat? Breakfast is ready!"

Benjamin pulled her away from Zac and walked downstairs.

As Zack was ignored by the two of them, his face darkened.

At the dining table

Daryl suddenly remembered that she just ignored Zack, who looked angry. 'Did he think that I was being impolite?'

But it would be even more awkward if she greeted him now.

Daryl hesitated for a moment and began to eat her breakfast.

Zack remained silent while having breakfast.

After the three of them got into the car, Benjamin held Daryl's hand. "Mommy, are you free this weekend? Let's hang out together, okay?" "Sure."

Daryl smiled. As she was about to ask him where he wanted to go, she was rudely interrupted by a deep voice.

"Benjamin, Dillon will take you to the base this weekend where you'll stay for two days."

Benjamin crossed his arms. "Why? Daddy, I didn't do anything wrong!"

In the past, whenever the little boy made a mistake, Zack would take him to the base and leave him there for two days. While he was there, they carried out a hellish training in order for him to learn his lesson. But now, Benjamin thought his father would not punish him like that with Daryl by his side. But he was wrong.

"I see that you have been quite naughty these past two days."

Zack's legs were crossed as he looked at his son. "I think you need to learn your lesson."

"Mommy, help me!"

Benjamin felt that his father was so cruel. He pouted and buried his head in Daryl's arms. "I don't want to go to the base. I'm too young to go to that place!"

Daryl turned her head to Zack, her eyes filled with pity and remorse. "Zack, what are you doing? Bennie is too young. You shouldn't punish him all the time, okay?"

He raised his eyebrows. "What? Do you want to go with him?" His cold voice was still and unshaken.

Daryl wanted to say yes, but Benjamin interrupted her.

"No way! Daddy, you can punish me as much as you like, but don't you ever bully Mommy!"
