She heard the honk of Harry's car and made her way down stairs to meet him. She had given important instructions to Sarah, as regards the manner at which Fred should be taken care off. When she opened the door, she was graced to see Harry looking gorgeous in his tuxedo. His looks was stiff as usual, but she could see that her sight had gotten a slight reaction out of him.

Harry on the other hand, was simply amazed seeing Debby in a dashing black gown, one of the best gowns out there in the whole of Darkwood. When they arrived at the event hall, they were the centre of attention and while Debby was really cautious of the preying eyes, staring at her, Harry was used to it and simply ignored the stares.

Amidst the important dignitaries that had arrived at the party was the Mayor of Darkwood. While making their way to the section of important guests, Debby noticed a much familiar face.

Edna had followed the mayor to the party as his date and didn't believe Harry would be present. When she saw Debby seating side by side with Harry, she was jealous. Edna didn't like the whole situation and decided to disgrace and ridicule her.

During the course of the event, Debby excused herself and was heading towards the bathroom, when she suddenly bumped into Edna.

"Enjoying the party dear sister?" Edna asked with an evil smirk on her face.

"What do you want Edna? I thought our last encounter was enough? Why are you bugging my life?" Debby asked, feeling pissed already.

"Shut up you whore! You come to the party with my husband and think I would just let things slide? Are you daft?" Edna's comment took Debby aback for a moment and she closed her eyes and sucked in her breath, trying not to be angry at an important occasion like this one.

"Listen Debby; I don't know what your motive is, but I will have you understand something. Harry would never be able to see you as someone important in his life. You are his enemy's daughter and that would be imprinted at the back of his mind forever." Edna's word were taking toil on Debby's emotion.

"You call me a whore, yet you are the one who came with the mayor to the party. How about I tell Harry how much of a cheat you are? I mean we both know that your mother forced yourself on him, isn't it...

And you took after your mother by forcing yourself on my ex fiancee, what a disgusting family." Debby fired back, much to Edna's shock.

The restroom door became opened and she noticed Harry coming from afar towards the restroom then a plan dropped in her mind. She turned to Debby, saying. "While you call me a whore, I will have you remember that you are the one with a child, whose father is unknown and right now, it is clear you are planning to pin it on Harry, by forging a fake DNA test result for him." Edna said those words aloud,, knowing that Harry could be listening.

Meanwhile, Harry had been curious to know where Debby had gone to and followed her tracks. When he was about checking the restroom, he had heard a familiar voice being Edna speak some shocking facts. He entered the restroom and gave Debby a hard stare. "You are coming with me this minute!" He declared after acknowledging the presence of Edna. Harry had also seen Edna come to the party, and upon enquiry he realized that the Mayor had begged that Edna and her mom accompany him to the party. When Debby got to the car with Harry, she didn't dare say a word as the look on Harry's face was murderous. She muttered curse silently at Edna for being such a manipulator. It was after she had said those words that Harry stepped into the rest room and right now, she knew that there was much explanation which ought to be done by her.

"Follow me now!" Harry demanded, after stopping the car.

Debby tried to match his pace as they head up the stairs and eventually into his room, where hedemanded that Debby closed the door. Once the door was closed, Harry moved towards Debby in a threatening manner.

"What did Edna meant by saying that the DNA test results were fake? Have you been lying to me all the while?" He asked.

Debby was scared of this side of Harry; he was monstrous and could break her into pieces if she dared press his buttons. "Edna is lying, you should know that the doctor who conducted the DNA test on Fred and yourself has been your personal doctor for years. I don't know him from Adam." Debby defended herself.

Harry reasoned with what Debby had said. There was no way Debby would have known his personal doctor, since he was an elite doctor and didn't work in hospitals. He was hired exclusively by Harry.

"I know you always believe Edna, but I need you to understand that there is no chance in hell I would ever bribe the doctor or forge a test result, showing that Fred is your son. The evidence are there; the striking similarities should be enough to drive home my point." Debby explained.

Harry was left in confusion; why was Edna making such heinous allegations. He wondered why the two women always seemed to be at logger heads. He moved further towards Debby, who still had anxiety within. He held her chin up towards his face. "I that would be the end for you." Harry dropped her chin.

Debby saw this as a clue and eventually left the room, and moved to her room, locking the door and dropping herself to the bed. She let out a sigh of relief that Edna didn't succeed this time. She knew she needed to be very careful around her.
