Nora pov

I was a seat with Ace. Who showing me the game on iPad. Abby reading her fairy tale book. Tom and Sally watching a tv show.

“Mommy when uncle Leo come back? We are getting to park right? ” Ace asks looking up from the iPad. He look bored now.

“You know how much time Gabby take when she is crying out. Don’t worry Leo was the expert to handle her…” I tell him calmly.

“Maybe I should be looking at them,” Sally said and walk out.

Why do I feel she hurry to go out? Or maybe she senses Leo won’t able to handle Gabby. When I lost Zoe my she-wolf, my wolf power shut down. I just smell wolf when they are close enough. Until then I would never smell or heard them.

Zoe leave me because she face the same depression like me. She literally shut herself from me. I try to call her when I having babies, that’s the only day she help me to deliver our babies because she want our pups to come to like it’s our love when we had Carter’s pups.

After that she was so tired she leave me alone. I’m not blaming her what we face is not our fault. But Carter is our friends he has to think about it before saying those things to us. Zoe is so upset and now four years passed she never show up or help me any wolf self. Without her, I’m just a half-wolf with a human body. I can’t shift, smell, or hear properly as wolf do. I’m just doing normal human things. And I’m happy with that because I don’t need wolf power, as a human territory we don’t need wolf. And Leo is always with me when I need him.

Remembering last night sense my heart feel hurts. Why this whole year’s he still hate me? I have never done anything bad to him. I’m his best friend, we share many things, we are together when we watch a horror movie. I hate horror movies but Carter like it so I stay with him. And he thought I like a horror movie. Leo know how terrified I was when I see a ghost. That’s why Leo scared me. And when the boys bully me, they almost beat me, I don’t want to Carter see me that status. My stupid sister called him. When he asked who did this, I don’t want him to kill anyone because of me. So I hide. But seen my face he k**s me, that was my first time I feel him so close to me, the spark I feel, maybe he feels to that why he k**s me deeply. But soon we got apart by Miya. After that, we try not to get close enough that we feel the pulling effect. Zoe tell me maybe Carter is our Mate, that’s why we feel attraction. I ignored her because I’d not want to think anything about that. Carter love Miya I know he is serious about her. So I don’t want to interrupt their relationship.

But soon I found Zoe was right Carter is my Mate. I’m ready to reject Carter if he wants Miya, not me. But what he did was out of the way. He mates with me, Marks me and leaves me saying I’m sult, who snatch a man from woman. It’s hurt more when he thinks I’m like those women who are dirty. Can’t he put end nicely, his words stab me like a knife.

Last night, when I see him on the operation table, my heart feels like a heavy stone. Leo asked me why I save him. Why not? He is one I feel love and he is one I feel hurt. I can’t able to see him hurt like that.

I can’t stop the sweet memory flowing in my brain when I see his hospital bed. But again he rejected me seen me again. I never thought he hates me this much that he feel hate when he see me after four years later. Sigh… Forget it, I’m not going to see him again.

my eyes look at my babies. I’m happy with my babies, I don’t need them in my life.

“Mommy, Brother Ace… Sister Abby… look who I bought in…” Gabby’s cheerful voice makes me smile. so finally she stop crying.

I look at the door there is my sweet baby walking with Leo. Hot Chocolate and the warm Honey smell hit my nose. She is not alone her with is…Carter!

‘what? why he with my baby…’ I was so shocked. I forgot to breathe. I feel cold sweat flowing him my body. I felt the darkness catching.

“Nora… ” I hear Leo’s voice. Maybe he sees my expression come to me.

“Leo… Why? ” I look up at him when he holds me before I fall. why did he allow Carter to come inside? why he holding Gabby’s hand. did he know Gabby is his daughter? did he come here to take my babies from me? I look at Leo in unbelievable eyes. Just tell me Leo it’s all fine?

“Calm down… Everything is fine. I’m here with you. ” Leo whispers my ears and my body began to relax.

‘He say, he is with me… I’m not alone… Yes, I trust him. So I just nod softly. And cuddle on him for sport, my body is numb now. Leo know me, so he just holds me close to him. But I hear low growled from Carter. I was looking at Carter when I see one another man walking with Sally. He is a very tall and wild shoulder man. I notice him staring at Leo displeased. He is not happy. Like Carter look. Why does he look like that? And why I effect by his eyes.

“Gabby who with you? Didn’t Mommy teach you not to get close to strangers? ” Ace voice cold. He sees his mother conditions and goes alert.

“He is not a stranger, he is Daddy’s friend Carter. Uncle Carter, he is my brother Ace and She is my twin’s sister Abby.” Gabby introduced a cheerful tone.

“Carter? ” Ace murmured and look back to Leo.

‘He is my father? ‘ Ace ask using mind links.

‘Yes. But don’t worry, I’m with your mother. No matter what he does. I will make sure he won’t touch her.’ Leo nod softly.

Carter looks both at Twins Ace and Abby, then his eyes turn to Nora. He doesn’t like that Leo holds her. But he keep quiet.

“Alpha Carter… Please seat…” Tom step forward to give him space to seat.

“Ace, take Abby – Gabby to your room. ” Sally said to Ace. She doesn’t want Kids to stay here. Because soon room turns into war place. And no one wants Kids to see that.

Ace look at Nora and Carter who was continued staring at Nora. Nora avoiding looking at him. She look more uncomfortable.

‘Uncle, please take care of Mommy.’ Ace said to Leo.

Leo nod in understanding, then Ace take Abby-Gabby with him and walk upstairs. After the kids leave the room Carter seat on a chair. Jax meets his father and hugs him.

“How are you, Jax? Did you meet eat well? ” Tom asked.

“I’m fine, Dad. You never tell me about Leo. He is staying here with you. And I thought Leo in abroad for study. But here he is Mary to beautiful women and having three babies.” Jax completing his parents.

Hearing compliments from him Nora look up at him. His eyes on her, but he doesn’t stare at her much time. He knew Carter is here and his eyes never leave Nora’s.

Sally and Tom share the look.

“It’s Leo who wants to hide his marriage,” Father said.

“So what? There is no one out there that I can tell them about my personal life. Especially my marriage with Nora.” Leo said angrily. he help Nora to sit down on the sofa.

“Leo…” Sally sigh helplessly.

“What mom? I’m telling truth.” Leo rolls his eyes annoying tone.

“Mom, why Leo become disrespectful? ” Jax said.

“You know how he is…” Tom said, to make them easy.

“Nora, are you feeling well? ” Leo ask sweet tone.

“I’m fine…” Nora replies in a lower voice and put their head on his shoulder. She avoiding look at both wolf. One was making her scared, other was showing hurt emotions.

“So what bring you here Alpha? ” Tom asked.

“Dad, Alpha got injured in the Rogue attack. He needs a place to stay. So I bought him here. He will be safe here.” Max tell them about the Rogue attack.

“Then why don’t you send him to the packhouse. Isn’t a packhouse is a safe place for him. Hurry up and get out from here.” Leo waves his hand annoying way.

“why you want me to leave? This is my Beta’s house too, am I right Jax? ” Carter said in displeasure.

“Right, Alpha. Leo, don’t be like it. This is my house too. So it’s not up to you to decide who was staying here or not. And why you want Alpha to leave the house?” Jax calmly.

“Because my wife doesn’t like that strangers come to our home,” Leo said holding anger inside.

“STOP saying that! ” Carter growl in anger. His eyes began to darken.

All realise that Carter’s wolf trying to take over. He holding hardly.

“Saying what? “

“Stop saying that she is your wife…”

“Huh… Isn’t this reality. Carter, Nora is My wife. I say this a thousand time. Why do care? ” Leo said mockingly.

“Don’t make me break your neck, Leo. ” Carter said the cold voice.

“Leo, please stop it…” Sally said angry tone.

“I won’t mom… You know I don’t want to see him. Why you allow him to come to our house? Do you see what reaction Nora had? ” Leo speak angrily.

“Leo, behave yourself! You are being disrespectful to Alpha again… If you say one more words… I can’t hold myself to beating your a*s.” Jax growl in anger.

“Brother Jax, you don’t know how much I’m holding myself to kick out him. Your respectful Alpha cursed man and My wife’s life hell…” Leo sneeze in anger.

‘Ha, you want me to stop calling her are my wife. I’ll call her that many time until you hear your head out of the wall.’ Leo thinks in mind.

‘Don’t worry I’m with you…’ Damin sports him.

‘Thank dude.’ Leo says to him.

“What did you mean? Why are you blaming Alpha? ” Jax getting more confused. He feels he was something missing here.

“Leo, please stop this… This is not time for that. Alpha is injured…”Tom order him.

“Fine… So he was staying here, right? Then me and Nora Leaving from here…” Leo gets up and help Nora to get up. He holds Nora hand to walk out.

“If you want you can leave, but you can’t take her away from Me.” Carter voice boom like a bomb, he gets out of his chair and grabbed Nora’s other hand.

“Leo…” Nora’s eyes widen in shock, she tries to get free her hand.

“Carter, Leave her hand.” Leo tries to remove Carter’s hand.

“I won’t… She won’t leave this place without my permission.” Carter growled in Alpha tone more and more. His eyes getting darken.

Jax and Tom step forward to stop them.

“who do you think you are… You can’t stop us. “Leo’s voice turned cold. Leo allows Damin to take control.

Damin look at Carter and growl in anger and push him back. Carter growls loudly and punches Leo’s face. Leo struggles back words, but stop himself to hold still. Then he jumps on Carter punching him back to back. Carter put Nora to his back. So he can do his punch. Carter holds both punches in his hand. Both wolf eyes turned dark like a black hole.

“Dare to touch her… you dare to take her away from me…” Carter’s voice changes deep.

“She is mine wife… I’ll take here whatever I want… I’ll touch her whatever I want because she in mine Damn it…” Damin same tone.

“Alpha, please hold yourself… you are injured.” Jax holds Carter.

“Leo behave… Alpha is injured… And our guests too. ” Tom hold Leo back.

“I’m just taking my wife with me… He is the one who touch her…” Leo growl angrily.

“Ah… That’s enough! ” Carter pushed Jax aside and grab Leo by his neck and growled in anger.

“Alpha Carter…” Jax tries to stop him.

“He is not here… I’m His wolf, James! “Carter’s voice got deep cold.

“s**t! ” all got frozen is the spot.

Jax knows Carter’s wolf never come out often. He comes out when Carter on war with Rogues. This is the first time he sees James taking control and Carter let that happen. He realised that matter was not simple.
