Jax pov

‘Can you please hurry up? I want to see Mate… She was so close but still far away from me… Today I want to know what she thought about us. She needs to choose us. I can’t wait too long.’ I walked to the corridor to meet Nora. When Eric as usual was being impatient.

“She will accept us for sure. She knew we are not like Alpha. I respect the Alpha, but I don’t like what he did to his true Mate. How can he choose another she-wolf over his own Mate? The worst part was he rejected her cruelly after mating with her. Can’t put an end to it decently. I know his temper very well. He gets harsh when he is angry. But still, he needs to hold himself.’

‘He became an a*****e sometimes. He hurt our Mate.’ Eric growls in anger.

‘But we still need to thank him. Because he rejected Nora, she met us. Maybe the moon goddess wants to give her to us.’

‘Don’t forget that Alpha claimed her as his Mate again. Maybe he snatched her from us. And I won’t allow him to touch out Mate.’ Eric said in a desperate tone.

‘Eric…’ I roll my eyes on him.

‘What? It’s our duty to make her happy…’ Eric said in a tearing tone.

I ignored him and knocked on the door.

” Doll…” I called her name.

“Hold on…” I hear her in a hurry. I hope she won’t trip herself.

After five minutes later I smell Lily’s fresh scent close to the door. I hold my breath, finally, I’m going to see her beautiful face.

Finally, she opens the door with her beautiful smile on her testy lips. I saw her checking out me. I hope she likes what I’m wearing right now. I won’t wear this type of t-shirt because I don’t want to attract any she-wolf. But today I wore this to make her see that I’m not bad at all. Maybe she likes me. But what I saw was that Eric was out of control.
