Nora pov

Jax… He is such a loving and caring person I even see. He kept asking me to accept him. So I finally told him about my pups and I was scared.

“First of all I’m not going to almond my pups. They are not just yours, they are mine too. Touched by another man, so no one tolerated that , but for me that was past. I have passed too. So I don’t want our past to ruin our present and future. And last but not the least, if you are insecure about my own pups, make your pups separate, then I promise to you I’ll never ask you to have pups with me. It’s fine for me to have only three pups in advance.” He tells me how important me and my pups are for him. He thought of them as his pups. I feel so happy.

But his last words make me shocked. How can he sacrifice having his own pups? Every wolf wants their own pups. Their flash of b***d. But he doesn’t want one because I feel insecure.

“Anything for you Baby Doll.” His k**s on my forehead shows how much he loves me. I want him to give me that type of k**s every day and night.

“Jax, you don’t have to…” I was trying to say. That I’ll give him lots of pups… Wait! Did I think this?

And he told me he loves me. He told me when he fell for me. His every word makes me happy and my heart beats faster. He gave me two choices: ‘accept me or reject me’.

My heart stops for a second. He wants me to follow my heart. And my heart wants him. I can feel it. But I want him to know one thing in my life. And it’s related to Carter. I want him to know what he will see if I choose him.

“They are Carter’s pups Jax… When he left me he never knew that our first time matting made me pregnant. Did you still want them? After knowing they are your Alpha’s babies?” I tell him about babies.

He looked shocked. I was expecting that expression. Even worse, he gets angry or pissed off. But I get a warm smile from him. Like the usual smile. Goddess, why is he so calm? I was so surprised that when he pulled me close to him, I forgot to step back.

“I know… I know they are Alpha’s pups. And I still want them, because they are not just his pups, they are yours too. So they will mine too, as you will be mine… If you want…” He said in a sad tone.

“How did you know? Leo told you?” I looked up at him surprised eyes. How did he know? Who told him? Leo?

“No. Leo didn’t tell me. It’s Eric finding out. He can feel Alpha aura around Ace. And anyone can see how Alpha and Ace look the same as a carbon copy. Ace is a mini vision of Carter. ” He chuckled as he stared at me.

“It’s that obvious?” I murmured in a low tone.

“You try your best to hide his look by colouring his hair. But you can’t hide his scent and the aura of Alpha. We are werewolves and can find that easily.” I said testing tone.

I pulled back and looked down because of nervousness. He is right, I won’t hide Ace too long. He looked at me with questioning eyes. Did he tell Carter? That’s why he came here?

“You didn’t tell ‘Him’ right?” I asked nervously.

He walked to my bed. He sat down and patted on his lamp for me to sit on. This is going to be a long talk and I don’t want her legs to feel pain from standing too long. I don’t know what is in his mind but I walk and sit beside him. I don’t want to be distracted by him, because we are having a long talk. Jax never mind it. Maybe he doesn’t want to force me.

“Tell me, Jax… Did you…” I still want to know how he found out about Ace.

“He is in a coma Baby Doll. How can I tell him? And I can understand you have some reason to hide this from him. The choice is all you’re my love…” He picked me up and put on his lamp. He buried his head in my neck sniffing scents. I can feel his hardness down. My p***by getting wet. But it’s not time to get turned on.

“I don’t want him to find out about pups. He is not diverse at all. They are all mine. But I was scared of what if he found out and he snatched my babies from me. If that happens I’ll die without them.” I rubbed my head on his wide chest and said with a sad tone.

“Don’t say that… you will never die until I die… And I won’t die so easily. I won’t get you hurt, I will protect… So you have a long life my dear Mate.” He held me closer to him.

“Thank you Jax… For caring for me… You and Leo just like each other.” I give him warm smiles.

“Leo… I don’t think he loves you like I do. And can you please don’t mention him when we are alone. I appreciate what he does. But still, marrying you was not good.” I said holding my anger. He looks so angry when he talks about Leo. Was he jealous of Leo?

“Are you jealous over Leo?” I asked, hiding my smile behind my palm.

“Yes I’m… You are mine… And I don’t want anyone to touch you like I do.” He said honestly.

“Oh… Jax…” I still smile like that. I can’t help it because he looks so adorable.

“So… Now that I know you had pups from Alpha. But I’m still not going to give up on you… Nora I swear to the Moon goddess that I only love you… In my heart is beating only for you… I want you… your pups are mine pups… if you do anything you want you to do I’ll do that without second thought.” He grabbed my chin and made me look up at him. “Jax… please understand me… I can’t…” I got tensed at his words.

“It’s ok… I… I can understand. Then be quickly ok…” He put me on the bed and got up ready for goddess know for what?

“Jax, what are you saying?” I asked him in confusion.

“I’m ready for rejection… Just make it quick…” As he said and closed his eyes. Ready for words.

I want him so badly. But I can’t right now. Carter is here, If he can find out about Ace’s identity. That means Carter finds out too. Then he got more aggressive about me being his Mate. Maybe he snatched my babies or he wanted me to come with him. And if that happens he will find out about Jax’s Marks on me. He may kill Jax… No… I’m not ready for that to happen. Jax needs to wait more. First I need to find a solution on Carter. Maybe I’ll accept his rejection. Then he and I were done. And next is Jax, he will be my Mate for sure. And not to mention I’ll give him lots of babies too.

But before I told him to wait, he misunderstood my half words. He is ready for rejection.

“Nora…” He called me using his gentle tone. My name feels so good on his tongue. But still I want him to call me Baby Doll. I’m used to that name. I don’t know why he gave me that name. But I like that name.

“I’m not ready to give you the pain I feel when I face rejection. It’s f**king hell for any wolf… It’s not your place to face that…” I told what was on my mind. I can’t hide my sob. And he looked sad too.
