Nora pov

I was caught in moments as Carter hugged my two babies. And what’s made me shocked is he was crying out, for the first time I saw Carter cry for someone. He never cried in his life, never ever!

I feel my tears close to dropping. If he won’t reject me in the first place, he will be a loving and caring Dad for our pups.

Flashback*******

“Candy, how many babies do you want from your Mate?” Nora asked him.

“I don’t like babies! They are so nosy and dirty. I see many of them do weird things, like breaking tv, flower pots and my laptop. I hate babies.” Carter said in a frustrated tone.

“Are you talking about your uncle’s babies?”

” yep!”

“Off… But I love babies… They are so cute, adorable and soft.” Nora said with a big smile.

“So… Ahem… You like babies?” Carter took interest in her talk.

“Yes, lots of them…” Nora waves her hand in excitement.

“How many do you want? I’ll brought them for you…” He said casually.

“Brought them? Carter, they are not toys that you can buy in toy shops!” Nora shake her head.

“I know they met in the hospital. In our nursery, there are lots of babies out there. If I can demand they give me as much as possible. I’m a Alpha’ son, their future Alpha.” Carter said proudly.

Nora looks at him with an open mouth. Carter lifted up her jaw to close her mouth. Then Nora came back to reality and hit his arms.

“Ouch! What’s that for?” He rubbed his arm and asked her.

“You are such stupid, Carter! And how can you bully pack members like that? You know pack members were like big happy families. You can’t bully or disrespect them.” Nora pouted in anger.

Seeing her angry face, and two balloons on her cheeks he knows he did something wrong.

“Fine. I won’t bully and disrespect them. Now don’t get angry. Ok? Now cheer up! You know I don’t like to see you angry and sad.” He held his anger back and said in a smooth tone.

“Ok. But promise me you will give your Luna’s lots of babies.”

“Lots of? How many do you want?” Carter narrowed his eyes in surprise.

“Mom said the baby can be one or two or three… So I want two… One like you and one like Me!” Nora said, showing two fingers.

“How about three? One boy for you and two girls for me.” Carter said in an annoying tone.

“Hey, you can’t flirt with your daughter.” Nora snapped at him.

“What the hell I’ll never think of that, Nora. If I was a father they were my daughters. How can I flirt with my daughters? I want two to spoil them. But I need to quit babies. So I can play video games peacefully.” Carter said, nodding his head.

“VIDEO GAME? Candy, you leave my daughters for your video game? What if they get hurt or Rogues attack them? Are you still playing your video game? You’re so mean…” Nora pouted in anger.

“Nora, this is Blue Moon Pack, and I’m Alpha’s son… Rogues never step in our borders. They know how dangerous we are. So they won’t get attacked by Rogues. And we put strong bodyguard for our pups, so they won’t get hurt…”

“No. It’s your responsibility to protect your Luna and pups.”

“Well, I’ll protect you for sure. Luna and the pups were protected by a bodyguard. Don’t worry.”

“Candy… You need to protect your Luna and pups. My Mate will protect me.” Nora blush softly.

“Your Mate…” Carter muttered looking at her blushing face. She looks so adorable.

“Yes, my Mate will protect me and my pups.” Nora said with a sweet smile.

“I was one to protect you and your pups. I don’t care about your Mate.” Carter said in a stubborn tone.

“So you will take care of my pups?”

“Yep, I’ll take care of them.”

“What would you do if they were so noisy?” Nora asked in a teasing tone.

“Well… If they are noisy then I’m out. By the way, how were they made in the hospital? And how do they get into the woman’s womb?” Carter asked, rolling his eyes on her.

“They are made by love, Candy. If you love your Mate, you can make her pregnant… You know how it works…” Nora said blush on her face.

“Of, if I made love to you or said f*ck you, you can get pregnant too?” Carter said the teasing tone

“Candy, you can’t ask me this…” Nora hit him hard and hide her face from him

“Ah! That hurt!”

” You deserved it! Now don’t ask me a question like that…” Nora said in fake anger.

“Fine. How about I ask something else?” Carter asks in a teasing tone.

“What now?”

“How do they get out of the woman’s womb? Did the doctor cut their stomachs like we cut the cakes and pick up the baby and hand it?” Carter said with action.

“Carter… You are impossible! Did they cut like cake? Are you serious?”

“Yeah! I mean I don’t see a spot where the baby can come out.”

“Oh, Goddess… Help me! Candy, come with me.” Nora pulled Carter and walked out of the house.

“Hey, slow down… Where are we going?”

“To hospital…”

“Doctor for what?”

“To show how babies come out.”

“No. I don’t want to know this from the doctor. Nora, you will be a doctor soon. When you get to the doctor, then you can tell me.” Carter said, pulling his hand from her to run.

“Candy, stop running… You have to see this… Come on…” Nora pulled him to the hospital.

“Nora, listen to me…”

“No. You listen to me if you run today, I’ll never talk to you again…” Nora let his hand go and pouted in anger.

“Sigh… Fine.” Carter put his hand in her again.

“Ok. Ha… This way…” Nora pulled him to the babies wards.

“No, babies! Nora, you trick me! I’m leaving…” Carter said, pulling her with him.

“Candy, wait! See they are not noisy…” Nora pointed to a big glass window.

Carter stops his track and looks at the glass. There are lots of babies sleeping in their small beds. As Nora said, they are not noisy at all. They look calm.

“Well… Then why are my nieces so noisy?” He muttered.

Nora walked to the glass, so Carter walked with her too. Because Nora is still holding in his arms.

“Hello, may I help you?” One nurse came out from the room holding a small baby.

“Wow, nurse Auntie, can I see the baby?” Nora is not too tall as she is just fifteen years old.

“Sure, here is it.” A nurse shows the baby wrapped in a warm blanket.

“Oh… it’s a boy or girl?” Nora asked.

“It’s a boy. He was just born today.” Nurse said.

“Oh… Candy, look how pretty he is… and soft too.” Nora said in a cheerful tone. She touches the baby’s cheeks and smiles brightly.

Carter was taller than Nora so he could see the baby where he was standing. But seeing Nora so happy he wants to know why a small boy makes her so happy more than him? He looked at the boy and frowned.

‘He is cute… But why is he making Nora happy? Did he seduce Nora using his good looks? Small monster! As he thought, the boy opened his eyes and blinked at Nora, then he starched his weak hand in the air. Carter pulled Nora to him.

“Well, that’s enough! Nora, come on we are getting home.” he tried to walk.

“Hold on bit Candy. I want to hold him.” Nora said.

“No. You can’t hold him.” Carter said in a displeased tone.

“Why not?” Nora pouted.

“Because he is male. And no one male is allowed to touch you. Male always flirt with women.” Carter said, gazing at the baby’s sharp eyes.

Hearing his words Nora blush in embarrassment and the nurse laughs.

“He is too small to flirt, sir.” Nurse said.

“But he is… He is… Flirting with Nora. Look… Look at how he is staring at her… Hey, stop staring at her…” Carter growls softly.

Hearing this the baby started crying. A nurse tried to coax him.

“Candy, You make him cry…” Nora hit his arms and pouted in anger.

“It’s not my fault, he is so weak…” Carter rolled his eyes in an annoying tone.

“Can I hold him?” Nora asked the nurse.

“No.” Carter said in a serious tone.

“Carter shut up!”

“Fine. Do whatever you want…” Carter rolls his eyes in frustration.

“Here hold like this…” Nurse gave the baby in Nora’s hand. As Nora holds the baby closed he stops crying.

“Hey, look he’s still doing that… Hey nurse Auntie take this boy.” Carter frowned seeing the boy staring at Nora’s face.

“Look like the boy really likes you, Nora.” As the nurse said Carter frowned more.

“Oh, it’s that so? Hey baby… I’m Nora…” Nora coux him.

As Carter looks at him, he gets more jealous of the boy. He gave Nurse an angry look. Nurse nodded in understanding.

“Now, give me the baby and you both go out. ” Nurse said about getting a baby from Nora.

“Oh… But I want to hold him more… He is so cute…” Nora posted in sadness.

“If you want to hold a cute boy, then hold me… I’m a cute and handsome boy here…” Carter said proudly.

“You are not a little baby. I want to hold a baby.”

“How about a baby girl? Did you have a baby girl here?” Carter asked to norse.

“Yes. We have some baby girls.”

“Why does this sound like a glossary shop now? And we went shopping? Do you have carrots and onions here?” Nora muttered to herself.

Nurse smiled at her. She can hear her words because she is a big wolf. She takes them to the baby’s room. Carter looks like he is seeing ghosts around him. Nora just forgot to close her mouth.

“There are so many babies here, Candy.” Nora said in a low tone.

“Yeah, I can see that… Now can we go?”

“Hold on… Nurse auntie, why is that baby out there alone?” Nora points to the baby inside of the glass.

“He is too weak and he lost his mother in giving birth to a baby. So without a mother he got weak.” Nurse said sad tone.

Nora walk to glass and started at baby who nearly beat hung, he had big tube in his nose. His body became red. Seeing his condition Nora felt sad. Her tears fall on her cheeks.

“Nora…” Carter who was staring at Nora’s face, he put hand around her and pulled her close to him.

“Candy… Did he die without his Mommy?” Nora asked him between her sob.

“I don’t know… Let’s go.” Carter pulled her with him and they went out of the room. Nora is still feeling sad for the baby. Carter kept holding her close. Nora keeps her head on his chest when they sit on the hospital banch.

“Nora, stop crying… You know I don’t like this… I’ll never let you come here again.”

“Candy, what if I die… And my baby needs me? Can you help him to keep alive?” Most look up at him hopefully eyes.

“Don’t say that! You are not dying… Not until I’m with you… Stop saying that…” Carter said in a bit of an angry voice.

“Ok. But promise me if something happens to me, you will take care of my pups and won’t leave them alone.” She pouted.

“I promise…” Carter accepted his lose.

“Even if you want to play video games…”

Carter looks down at her puppy eyes, because of crying her eyes become red. He sighs and notes softly.

“Fine. Our pups are first for me, ok.”

“Ok. Now can we go to see delivery words?” Nora jumps out on her feet cheerfully.

“No, not again…” Carter said in an annoying tone.

“Come on…” Nora shows him puppy eyes.

“How about next time? I promise that our pups are my first priority. And I’ll take care of them. So how about we have some ice cream now?” Carter change subject quickly.

“Ice Cream?” Nora’s eyes sparked in happiness.

“Yep… I make ice cream for you. You like it right?”

“I don’t know why Alpha allowed you to learn how to cook? but I like your cooking Candy. And ice cream was the best part of your cooking… Let’s go- Let’s go… I don’t want my ice cream melted before I eat…” Nora ran out of the hospital. Carter followed her back.

Flashback end ******

Someone wiped tears from Nora’s face. She blinked and looked at Jax who was showing a gentle smile.

“Thinking about past memories?” Jax asks in a low tone.

“Mmm… hum… He promised to take care of our pups. I was scared he may don’t like it, that I had his pups. Maybe he wants pups from Miya. Maybe he had some in the house…” I said looking at Carter and my daughters.

“He doesn’t have pups in pack houses, Baby dolls.” Max said in a sad tone.

“Huh? What did you mean?” I look back to Jax in confusion.

“Miya and Alpha had complications in their relationship. You will know when Alpha tells you. I’m not the right person to tell you.” Jax said calmly.

Nora looks at Jax then her eyes shift back to Carter.

“I think Alpha is best for you…” Jax’s calm tone shocked me. I look at him confused.

“What the hell are you saying Jax? Did you feel weak in front of your Alpha? That’s why you never attack back there? What if a Rogue attacks me? Did you still put your tell between your legs like a coward?” Now he is making me angry.

“No. I didn’t mean to…”

“You know Carter is so stubborn when it comes to his things. He won’t step back without a fight. But you, you even not trying Jax. Don’t you want me? Or you just want to f**k once?”

“I love you, Baby Doll… Don’t say that, and I’m not a coward at all. I just want you to become happy.” He said calmly

“You want to make me happy? Then fight for me… Not like wolf fights… show Carter how much you love me. We need to talk to him.” As I said I grabbed his hand so he couldn’t run away from me. Losing him was not in my list.

“Fine. Your wish will be commands for me.” Jax shows a confident smile. I melted his charming smile.

“Shall we talk?” Carter’s angry voice made me turn back to him.

He looked furious, but still held his anger. His eyes on our hand. I’m not going to let Jax’s hand go.

“Fine.” I pointed to the sofa.

“Can you let his hand go?” Carter can’t hold his anger.

“Who I hold is my choice, Carter.” I held his hand more tightly.

“You want to talk about us. Then I want him to go out.” Carter points to Jax.

“No. I want Jax to be here.”

“Baby Doll, I think you need to talk to Alpha first. I’ll come later…” Jax got his hand free from me.

“Jax…” I don’t want to stay here alone with him.

“Why are you scared of me?” Carter looked annoyed.

“Alpha, please… Don’t do something she doesn’t want…” Jax said calmly.

“Do I look like a serial killer to both of you? Jax, she is my Mate, and mother of My pups. How can I hurt her? We can’t hurt our Mate, you know this right?” Carter said in a frustrated tone.

“But you hurt me.” I muttered. Carter looked at me and looked sad.

“I’ll never hurt you from now on… I promise.” Carter said in a low voice.

I could feel what he was saying was true, so I looked at Jax and nodded. Jax node back and walk away from the room closing behind.

“Carter… I… Mmm…” I can’t believe it. As I turned to him.

His lips locked with mine. His both hands pulled me close to him. His soft lips made me wet. He kept kissing me, changing the angle. He doesn’t need permission to slide his tongue into my mouth. His working hand on my breasts gives him a chance.

“Call… Me… Candy…” Carter demanded between our k****s.

I want to say no, but the sensation was too much.

I can’t recall when I lay down on the sofa and he was on top of me.

“Carter, you promise just now, you want to do anything that I won’t want… Are you trying to break your promise?” I said a little bit in an angry tone.

Carter sighs in my neck and looks at me with sad emotion in his eyes.

“You don’t know how much I’m holding, Nora. I’ve been waiting to make love to you for the past four years, you can’t imagine that…” After saying that he got up and helped me to get up.

‘Make love to you’ did he really say that? Did he really wait for me for the past four years?

“Nora, can I have you now? We can talk later…” He requested a hopeful voice.

My eyes widened. Goddess, how can I answer him now?
