After breakfast, both Nora and Leo boarded Leo’s car. As always, the children are sitting in the back seat. Nora was sitting in the passenger seat. She looked outside silently. Something is bothering her. Leo senses her discomfort, so he gazes at Ace through the center mirror with questioning eyes.

‘Mother had the same nightmare again…’ Ace tells him using his mind-connecting power.

Leo sighs helplessly and watches as she gently rubs the mark on her wrist. He knows what it means to rub her mark like this. She remembered that incident again. Nora tried to kill herself by slitting her wrist several times that day. Leo saved her in time, but she still had a cut mark on her wrist. And it keeps reminding her of what happened to her four years ago. Rubbing her scar means that she is in a bad state of mind, which is bad for her health. He needs to find a way to distract her.

“Hey… Nora… kids… how about going for a walk in the park tomorrow?” Leo suddenly asked aloud. He thought of how to distract Nora.

“Park? Why all of a sudden?” Nora asked, looking at him in surprise.

“Park… Park… I want to go to the park… Mom,” said Ace, jumping excitedly on the back seat.

“Park… Park…” both the girls said happily, shaking hands.

“Ace… don’t jump like that; you I’ll hurt yourself, baby…” Nora shouted at him in concern.

“Sorry, Mom…” Ace sat back, apologizing, and put on his seat belt.

“Now tell me why you suddenly asked about the park?” Nora asked, turning to Leo.

“Oh, come on… it’s for our comfort… You know, the whole last month, we both worked like hell. Especially you, Nora… you never took a day off … go on working like this… you need a break. Like we need to clear our minds from our patients and hospital work. We both are not machines. We need rest too… And the kids haven’t gone out for fun, because of our busy schedule… They can’t study or sit at home… They also need fun… And… more…” Leo, one after the other, spoke.

“Okay… well… I just asked. Take it easy, man… I know… The kids should go out to play outside and see new things. I want to take a vacation too. Good idea, Leo… Then tomorrow we\’ll all go to the park, okay, my kids?’ Nora said, not giving Leo a chance to say anything further.

“Well… This is faster than I thought…” said Leo in surprise.

“Oh… do you want a long conversation on this topic? I’m ready for it…” She gave him a curious look.

“No… no need. The last time we had a conversation about this cream, two of my patients were left dying because of it. So this doesn’t need to be a long conversation… To save my patients, park okay, okay? Tomorrow we’re going to park, okay kids?” Leo chuckled and asked the children.

“Yeah! We’ll go to the park!!” Ace clapped happily.

“Park!! Park!!” Both the girls also said happily while clapping simultaneously.

“Okay… so it’s a deal…” Nora chuckled happily.

After that, they dropped the children off from school and went to the hospital. After parking their car in the parking lot, they went inside the hospital together.

“Good morning Dr. Nora… Dr. Leo…” The receptionist greeted him with a radiant smile.

“Good morning, Cara…” Nora signed on Musk’s entry book.

Leo also signs Cara\’s big smile, but his eyes fall on Nora\’s duty schedule. He was shocked to see Nora\’s plan of duties. He wanted to ask Nora about her duty. But he can’t because there are too many people walking around. He didn’t wishes to argue in front of people. So he keeps his mouth shut and follows her.

After signing, he goes to Nora\’s cabin. Nora put on the white hospital cloak and began to check the list of her patients.

“Nora… are you ready to be on duty tonight?” Finally, Leo asked her in a serious tone.

“Yeah…” Nora nodded without looking at him.

“Why? Didn’t you know how risky it is? It’s a full moon night… What if you had a panic attack? I can’t put your life in danger.” Leo asked confusedly.

Nora is still writing to the file usually.

“Nora… answer me…” Leo asked her angrily. Because he didn’t wants to lose her again.

Nora closes her file and looks at him. She seems calmer than ever.

“I can’t always hide from my fear, can I? Leo… I want to stop running from my fear. He rejected me, and then we never saw each other for the last four years. I didn’t see him somewhere, not even feel it. My heart is already broken. So now it doesn’t matters to me that he turned me down for someone else… I don’t feel anything… So where is he now? Or what is he doing? I don’t care. And if I had a panic attack, I had my pills with me. So don’t worry.” She showed her a small bottle.

“Goddess! Will you stop taking those damn pills? They are making you weak. Do you know what Dr. D\’souza says? These pills not only calm you down from your condition but also damage your body. It would be best if you used it when there is an emergency… Otherwise, you cannot conceive a child again… Or if you conceive, it will be difficult to give birth to a child …” said Leo seriously.

“I don’t want any more kids… I already had three smart and beautiful kids. And if I want to have a baby in the future. I’ll need a man for that. And I’m not interested in finding a man for that.” That’s…” Nora said, shrugging her shoulders.

“What if Ace and Abby-Gabby demanded more brother and sister?” Leo asked curiously.

“Then I’ll adopt a baby, or we’ll give birth here…” Nora said casually.

“The meaning is obvious, Dr. Leo… ‘ we’ means you and I will give birth to a baby here… Is your IQ low, Dr. Leo? I don’t know how you became a surgeon. Tell me the truth, and you copied it on paper, didn’t you?” Nora said in fun.

“Hey… I gave the paper, honestly… I’m a good and true surgeon like you…” Leon said confidently.

“So you know we do test-tube babies in our hospital?” Nora asked him.

“Oh! So you’re talking about that process?” He Understood and nodded his head.

“Yeah…” Nora nodded.

“But you’ll need a s***m donor for that, right?” Leon asked for information.

“I think there is one guy who could be my donor…” Nora smiles mysteriously.

“Who is that lucky man?” Leo asked quickly. He was very restless.

“You…” Nora said, rolling her finger at him.

” I..?” Leo asked for confirmation by turning his finger towards him.

“Yeah, baby, it’s you…” She smiled devilishly.

“Oh no!” Leo opened his eyes in shock.

“You’re my friend, won’t you help me with this? Won’t you give me your s***m?” Nora asked with puppy eyes.

“No!! Nora… I won’t give you my s***m… We’re just friends… We wouldn’t do anything like that… No, it\’s impossible.” Leo said aloud.

His face turned white at the mere thought. He stared at Nora as if he saw a ghost.

“I thought the same way… so all this will happen only when children ask for another child… So keep in mind that children never ask for another child… It’s your responsibility. That’s what you will do?” Nora playfully wrinkled him.

“I will… I will…” The Leo node is in a hurry.

“Good boy… go now…” Nora smiled teasingly.

“Nora…” Leo began to say something.

“Dr. Leo… call for you…” The announcement interrupted them to stop their conversation there.

“Ash… We\’re not over yet…” Leo said seriously, pointing his finger at her.

“See you later, Doctor Leo…” Nora playfully waved her hand towards him.

“Okay… But I\’m staying here too. To keep my eyes on you.” Leo said with a serious face.

“Hey… And who’s going to take care of my kids at home?” Nora asked in a worried tone.

“Mom will take care of the kids… She’s missing Ace and the girls… I’ll call her… So don’t worry about the kids.” Leo said before leaving her cabin.

“Tell your mom not to spoil my kids too much…” Nora shouted at him.

“I can’t promise that because she won’t stops doing this…” Leo yelled at her back.

Nora laughs to herself and turns her mind back to her work. She worked till midnight and checked on his patients.

“Dr. Nora, this is an emergency…” Junior Doctor Rang went to his cabin.

“Emergency case? This time?” Nora looks at her watch. She sees it is one o’clock at night.

“Yeah… It\’s an emergency… Please, hurry up…” Said the junior doctor in a worried tone.

“Okay… Come on…” Nora got up from her seat and ran into the operating room with the doctor.

The man is lying on the operation table. He has several serious injuries all over his body. He had been shot in the chest. The other two nurses were cleaning his wounds.

“What\’s the condition of the patient?” Nora asked, wearing an operation gown.

“The patient\’s condition was very critical…Some bone is broken, and there are two bullets in the chest…we have to do the surgery at the earliest…” Said the junior doctor,

“We… The bullet is very close to the heart. Prepared for operation.” Nora said and stood up close to the table.

“Okay… Doctor…” said the nurse and went out

“Will you help me…” Nora began to tell you. Doctor Leo walks in.

“I hope… I\’m not late…” said Leo.

“Not at all! The patient was waiting for you when Doctor Leo would come and operate on me…” Nora jokes.

“Yes! That’s me!… Now Dr. Leo is here, don’t be afraid…” Leo laughs and tightens his collar.

“Okay! Dr. Leo, shall we start now??” Nora said and turned to the patient.

She sees the wound on his body. Especially her eyes descending on the wound on his chest. She put her hand on the chest to see how serious his injury was.

“Ah…” He g*****d in pain. There was a slight rumble in his voice.

Nora\’s hand froze in her place. She raised her eyes for the first time and saw his face. His face, covered in b***d, was unrecognizable. But Nora still recognized him. She had never forgotten that face for the last four years. Where she stands today is because of him.

The pain, hurt, and depression she feels over the past four years are all because of him. She thought that he would never come again in her life. But now HE is in front of her on the operation table. He is here to open a four-year-old wound on her broken heart. And that man was Alpha Carter.

‘ Why is he here?’ That question started ringing like a giant bell in her mind.
