Carter pov

I look at Nora when she is eating with us. Whole members welcomed her with open arms. I’m so relieved. Now I just want to talk to Miya before anything else happens.

I was thinking when Nora’s eyes met mine. She blushes and smiles softly. I can’t help but wonder if I can have her in my bed tonight.

” Babe.,. You come?” Miya’s voice made me jump on my feet.

I see my love change face as she sees behind me. Did she get scared of Miya?

‘ Jax, stay close to Nora.’ I mind linking to Jax.

‘ Yes, Alpha.’ I see Jax put his hand around Nora. Nora leaned on him. Thank goddess, that I already told the whole pack members that Jax is Nora’s, second mate. They won’t object much because they know the moon goddess made us together. So they won’t agent moon goddesses.

But I was worried about Nora. as I guess she is not happy to see Miya this soon, maybe she is scared that I’ll leave her again. I’m not going to do that again. Nora is my responsibility and my love. I can’t leave her. This time Miya was one going to leave.

“Baby…” Miya’s arms wrap on me. I see tears in Nora’s eyes as she looks at us in a hug. I can feel her feelings.

“Miya…” I turned to Miya and she wrapped her arms around my neck and kissed me on the lips.

‘ Thaw her out…’ James growled in my mind. And I pushed her back. She almost hit back at the table.

“How many times do I need to tell you to do not to touch me?” James already took position and growled at her.

“I’m sorry, I…” Miya started sobbing.

‘James, what are you doing? Let me talk to her… You are hurting her…’ I try to talk to my angry wolf. He was as stubborn as me.

‘ No! You will mess up… like you messed up last time. I won’t allow you or that half-b***d she-wolf step between me and my mate. Not this time.’ James growled at me angrily.

‘ Come on, I was stupid that time. Now I know I need Nora with me, no one is going to stay between us, trust me… This is not right away to end our relationship. I don’t want Miya to get hurt… It’s not right for her. She was with me when I needed Nora. I said to her that she will be my Luna.”

‘ SHE IS NOT OUR LUNA!!’ Games growled highly.

‘ I know… Nora is our Luna. But James, we need to talk about this slowly. I don’t want anyone to get hurt. Especially Nora. She was hoping I would stand for her, so let me show her that I’m not going to leave her… Not this time. James, please try to understand me. Nora never trusts me at all. She lost trust in me as she did before. I need a chance to win her trust.’

‘ Fine. If you make the same mistake I’ll eat your whole body to kill you…’ James sighs and lets me take over. I can feel myself again.

‘ Thank James for trusting me.’ I said and turned to Miya.

She was staring at me with widened eyes. Tears were down on her rosy cheeks. Slowly whole members leave me and my family alone to talk. Now in that room, my family and Leo, Jax, Nora Sally, and moms were out with pups. I was relieved that my pups were not there to see this mess.

“What’s going on? Nora, it’s that you? Oh, my… You look so different…” Miya said, pulling Nora in a hug. Nora smiles awkwardly.

“Wait! Why did you leave us all of a sudden? I was so worried about you. I told you, Carter, to find out. But he refused to find you. Nora, I’m so happy today. Finally, meet you.” Miya vice was cheerful and happy. I feel bad for her that I was going to break up with her.

I look at her short dress. She was wearing a black short dress. She looked sexy on them, but I was thinking of bringing something like that to Nora. When she is with me alone.

“Stop daydreaming, Carter!” Leo’s voice makes me turn to him.

“You both need space to talk… I’ll be in my room. Excuse me…” Nora said and walked past me looking down. I know she had tears in her eyes ready to fall. She sees Miya k**s me.

Nora’s eyes widened in surprise. She never expects me to call her ‘Babe’ in front of Miya. I chuckled softly.

“Carter, why are you holding Nora’s hand? Why is your wolf not angry at her?” Miya had so many questions.

“Because Nora is my real Mate… And future Luna.” I said in one breath.

Miya’s eyes widened and soon her eyes filled with tears.

“Are you joking right? How can Nora be your Mate? You both were together from your childhood. But you didn’t say that Nora is your Mate. They way sudden? Carter, do not joke like that?” Miya said, full of emotions.

“I’m not joking… Nora is my Mate.”

“No! I won’t believe it! Prove me that she is your Mate. Carter, are you bored with me so you are using a fake Mate to push me back?” Miya shouted in anger.

“Hold your anger…” I used Alpha.

Her eyes got down in respect. She bit her lips in frustration. I know she wants to beat me to play with her emotions, but I don’t want to pretend that she is Luna. No way I’m not sure if Nora can handle that. I don’t want Nora pulled from me.

“I say one last time. Nora is my Mate and future Luna of Blue Moon Pack.” I said Alpha voice. I don’t want to use the Alpha voice on Miya, but she needs to see that I am not joking.

“Then what about us? Carter, you promise me that you will soon make me your Luna. Then why suddenly change your mind?” Miya’s sales were shocking and angry.

“I’m sorry, Miya. But Nora is my true mate. And I want her… I’m sorry I’m hanging you with this hope that I’ll make you my Luna. But the truth is that I love Nora and I can’t live without her. I’m sorry I broke your heart.” I said with a guilty tone.

“Your sorry won’t make me better, Carter. You break my heart… Just because she is your Mate.” Miya ginger points to Nora.

Danger growled left from me and Jax. Miya keeps looking at Nora.

“Why Nora? Why do you break us apart?” Miya asked, full of sadness.

“It’s not her fault! I ran from my Mate and broke your and Nora’s heart… If you want to blame someone, then blame me. Not her.” I hold Nora close to my chest.

Nora struggles to get free. I feel the tension in her body. I hold her more closed to me.

“I can’t believe this…” Miya murmured and ran out of the room. I can hear her crying.

“Dude, that was rude but still awesome!! I hope she finds her new man.” Leo patted my shoulder with a happy face.

“Alpha, you need to go after her…” Jax tried to say.

“No way! If now I run after her, she may think I had a soft heart toward her. And it’s getting worse. And I don’t want my baby to feel insecure.” I sniff Nora’s hair and it makes me forget everything.

“I’ll talk to her tomorrow morning in my office. Right now I need to escort my Babe’s to her room.” I said and pulled Nora with me.

Nora was quiet the whole time. I was starting to get scared of her silent behavior. What if she is angry at me? Or sad that Miya kissed me? Goddess, I hope she is not thinking of rejecting me. I can’t take it. I locked the door of her room and put her in a soft bed.

“Carter… What are you doing… Mmm…” She tries to struggle. I miss her voice.

“Babe, go to sleep…” I said to Nora who smiled back at me and closed their eyes.

“Come to my office,” I said in a low tone a few closing doors.

I walk ahead and Jax follows me. I hope Miya is safe. I know she is angry at me. I hope she won’t do anything stupid.
