The clicking of the clock brought me back to reality.

I knew I shouldn't be doing this. I should be at home looking at my kids but right now I regret ever leaving.

Just a few hours ago, Jayden had texted me that we should meet at the glow bar.

The glow bar is the biggest restaurant in the whole of Canada and this way many celebrities do come to have time out with her loved ones and most times have a lovely evening talk.

It wasn't hard for Jayden to get this place because his dad was also rich and so was he.

I knew I should be at home with my babies but no, I didn't want to spend this evening with him. I knew there were a lot of things that he wanted to tell me, I could tell that from his expression when he sent me home, he looked so tense.

I knew I shouldn't be getting worried about my kids, I left them in Lena care and I knew that she would do an excellent job in taking care of them so there was absolutely nothing for me to be scared about.

I looked at the wrist watch, my time was already 9pm and Jayden had asked me to come here at 7, I had been waiting for him for the past two hours.

I couldn't believe that he was sitting right in front of me.

I saw the weird glances the people around me had and for a moment I felt shy of my sudden outburst, I shouldn't have done that.

"You know you look really pretty and seeing you sit all alone made me wonder if I should say hi or not but I guess it wasn't a bad idea after all.

"Am sorry, I was just so excited seeing you for real, you know you are my favorite tv character and my daughter loved you so much, she's a diehard fan and I would want you to meet her "I said excitedly. I could see the smile he had on his face suddenly drain off his face.

"Are you are married?"

I felt the lump suddenly come to my throat, I really didn't know what to say.

"Actually I am not, I am a single mother of three, they are triplets actually, two Boys and one girl "I whispered calmly.

The man didn't smile, he just looked at me.

"You must be a strong woman for Having, your three babies alone and I really do commend you for that ".

"Thank you"I replied, hitting my legs nervously on the floor.

The man dipped his hands into his pocket and brought out a business card.

"Am giving you my card so You can reach me, now can I give you your numbers? "he asked me.

The moment he said those words, it felt like I had just heard the most shocking words of my life, Jeremy Williams was asking for my number, I just couldn't believe it

The man stretched his phone to me and I took it and put in my digits.

"We would meet some other time, "he told me and Walked away without looking back.

The moment the man walked away, I let out a fresh breath that I had been holding for so long even without knowing.

my phone rang from my pocket the moment he left and when I looked at the caller, it was no other than Jayden.

"Am sorry I wouldn't be able to make it anymore, sorry for wasting your time, I would make it up to you tomorrow "He said and even without letting me say a word, he ended the call. I looked at the screen of my phone like I was hallucinating.

what was wrong with Jayden, he brought me out here just to make me wait and now he calls and cuts the call.

The smiles on my faves were washed off by Jaden's sudden character, I hated what he had just done.

I picked up my purse and started walking out of the restaurant.

I knew there was no need to wait anymore.

I got out and just then I flagged down a cab.

The cab dropped in front of me but as I was about to enter, I felt like someone was watching me from behind

I didn't waste anymore time and the next minute I turned and the first thing I saw was those familiar brown eyes staring directly into my soul.

I could feel my legs go weak immediately, what was he doing here and how did he find me.

"Ma'am aren't you going anymore "the cab man broke into my thoughts and I turned to face him.

"I'm coming "I replied.

I tried to look at the door but he was no longer there and not even a trace of him could be found.

I knew how hard it took me to hide from them for this long, I guess I was just hallucinating.

What took you so long to arrive, don't tell me you forgot you got kids at home "Lena angrily yelled from the room the moment i stepped my legs into the living room. "Sorry "I whispered tiredly.

All the events of this night have made me weak, I couldn't imagine what would have happened if he was really the one.

"You looked stressed out best, don't tell me you did something with him, that man is definitely going to be the death of me.

I could see her face already turning red from rage, I guess she was so mad right now.

The room Suddenly went quiet and it was just as if an angel passed by.

"You must be joking b".

I liked the way Lena rolled her eyes,, but I didn't know why she must be so dramatic over stuff like this.

"I think I saw him but when I turned again I didn't get a glance of him anymore, it was just as if he was watching me but the next moment he was no more.

"Have you been taking your drugs, you looked stressed out "Lena whispered.

"Well, I think so too.

I walked towards the fridge and grabbed it open, I took a bottle of water and gulped it down.

I knew that lena was watching my every move and she knew what I was going to do.

"Is there something else you are not saying?" she asked calmly.

"Guess who I met today?"

"You know I'm good at guessing, so quit trying to make me do it.

"I met Jeremy Williams today "I half yelled jumping but when I saw that she didn't react to it, I stopped.

Lena didn't jump or shout, she didn't look excited one bit and I wondered why.

"You know there are better tricks to play on me but not you saying you met Jeremy Williams, that's my crush for crying out loud "

"You don't believe me huh"I said as I dipled my hands into the bag and the moment my hands caught the card, I threw it at her.

"Why don't you take a look"

I watched her look through the card and I could see the sudden change in her face, now this was the reaction I had expected from the start.

"What the fuck best, you are just everything, this is so real, so hard to believe, tell me something, did he hug, did he ask you anything "please tell me she yelled

The moment I got in, I was tired of the lights.

Seeing how beautiful they looked, I couldn't help but, these babies brought so much joy to me, much joy that I could never understand.

I turned off the light and walked back to the living room only to meet Lena still hugging the card.

I almost cracked at the sight in front of me.

"It's okay Lena, remember you have a job appointment tomorrow.

The smile on her face suddenly dried off.

Lena had lost her job two days ago and she had managed to get another but she just had to pass the Interview, I just hope she passes.

I heaved a sigh of relief, leaving that place. I knew what I did was wrong but what had been done had already been done and there was nothing that I could do at this moment to change it. I should have arrived Early but when I found out that dad's men were following me I had to go another way and after that I got some flowers.

I knew she would be so disappointed at me but the moment I was about to enter the restaurant I saw Jeremy sitting in front of her.

I knew how hard it was for me to hold myself and not drag her away from that place, but seeing the way she was excited made my heart tighten. She was happy for another man instead of me.

I knew how much I loved that girl including her kids and one thing I knew was that I would never stop loving her but one thing was sure, she was definitely going to be mine no matter how hard she tried and if I don't get her as mine no one would ever have her, she's mine and mine alone.
