Weverly sighed.

She replied, "She's already dead. Since she's already gone, there's no need to hold on to any old grudges anymore."

"Doesn't matter how bad things were between them, once you're dead, all that is water under the bridge."

Rorita was shocked to hear this.

She was already dead.

That sentence was stuck in her mind for days after that.

Rorita couldn't sleep again that night.

She was already dead!

Yesseca was going to die.

Why was she so worried about her?

Even if Tremaine went to see her, and even if they got back together, Yesseca was going to die anyway. What did it matter to her anyway?

"Mr. Tremaine," Rorita stood up and called out to him gently.

Tremaine, who was sleeping on the couch, opened his eyes.

People would usually be quite drowsy when they first wake up, but Tremaine's eyes were clear and sharp.

He looked at Rorita.

"Mr. Tremaine, I have something to tell you." Rorita said.

"Go ahead." Tremaine stood up.

"I learned about something important." Rorita continued softly, "Yesseca has a heart condition. It seems to be very serious. Her life is in danger." Tremaine was halfway draping his blazer over his body, but then stopped.

He flashed a penetrative glance at Rorita, "What did you say?"

Rorita added, gently, "Mr. Tremaine, you'd better go and see her."

A helicopter landed on the roof of the main hospital in Agaphen City.

A man stepped out of it.

Before anyone could see who it was, the man dashed into the building.

"Yesseca, Ruth told me that she's developing a new pastry bun. It's delicious. I told her to bring a loaf

over so that we can try it out

tonight," Preslie smiled as she said

this to Yesseca.

Preslie had listened to the advice Ruth gave her last night.

Even at this moment, she was constantly reminding herself to keep smiling and to be happy with Yesseca.

Yesseca smiled and nodded. "That's great news."

"What do you think it will taste like?" Preslie asked.

As Yesseca pondered the possibilities, a man barged into the room.

He was panting and looked to be an absolute mess.

Who else could it be, other than Tremaine Quartley!

Yesseca was startled.

As was Preslie!

The both of them had always seen Tremaine in a full suit with matching shoes which made him look imposing and powerful!

This was the first time they had seen Tremaine looking like a mess!

"Yesseca!" Tremaine called out, "You have a heart condition?!"

Yesseca looked downwards.

How did Tremaine find out about this?

Did Sheldon tell him about it afterall?

Seeing how quiet Yesseca was, Tremaine shouted, "Yesseca! Answer me!"

Yesseca stayed silent, but Preslie had lost her patience.

She yelled back, "Tremaine, are you done?! Yesseca is already in such a weak state! Are you still going to keep shouting at her?!"

Tremaine suddenly realized what he had done.

Just then, Matthew and Selina walked into the room.

They were both shocked to see that Tremaine was here.

Matthew was the first to snap out of

this shock. He stepped forward and placed a hand on Tremaine's shoulder, "Tremaine, come

outsid

with me. Let's have a talk."

Seeing how Tremaine was still rooted on the spot, Matthew leaned in closer and whispered, "Come on Tremaine, come outside with me. If you keep standing here, you only upset Yesseca."

Only then did Tremaine manage to fight back the pain that had enveloped him and followed Matthew outside.

Once outside, Matthew briefed him about Yesseca's condition.
