Hendrix did not give me any response. Instead, as he spoke, he lowered his head and bit onto my lips.

It hurt a little, but it didn't matter much. I looked at him with a frown and complained, "Hendrix, are you trying to be a dog?"

He laughed with his hoarse voice, "It was too sweet, so I couldn't help myself."

I glared at him, "You..."

He carried me up and turned around, directly pressing me onto the bed.

"Hendrix, turn off the lights!" I said in a panic.

"Hmm," He reached out and pressed the remote control on the bedside table. With a soft press, the room fell into darkness.

In the pitch-black space, the only thing that remained was the sound of breathing.

After a whole night of fun, I was laying in his arms. His long legs were still pressing on me, and he had no intention of moving away.

I rested my head on his arm and lay face-to-face with him. It would be too awkward if we were too close to each other.

Hendrix caressed my back with his hands and tried to coax me to sleep. It was getting quite late, and our position made it easier for me to fall asleep.

I slowly closed my eyes as I felt drowsy. Soon, I fell asleep.

I slept exceptionally well that night. It was already eight o'clock in the morning when I woke up the next day. Hendrix was still lying beside me.

I reached out to hold him by habit and moved myself towards him. He reached out to hold me in his arms and said in a hoarse voice, "Are you awake?"

I nodded, "Yes!"

He smiled faintly, and then...

Noticing that something was amiss, my drowsiness suddenly disappeared and I looked up at him.

He smiled lightly, "Good girl, I can do it on my own."

I wanted to say something at first, but upon seeing him act in such a way, I felt a little overwhelmed.

At the dining table, I felt much better after taking a bath. Hendrix was pan-frying some bacon in the kitchen.

I was feeling a little lazy, so I sat at the table with my chin propped, waiting for the food.

He came out of the kitchen with breakfast in hand and noticed that I was staring at him. He could not help but raise his eyebrows and asked, "What's going on in that mind of yours?"

I played along with him, saying, "I'm thinking about how I got to meet such a perfect man like you."

He sat at the dining table and looked at me with his dark eyes as he smiled and said, "It seems that you are quite satisfied with me today!"

There was definitely a double meaning behind his words.

I pursed my lips and lowered my head to enjoy my breakfast.

Ever the elegant man, Hendrix put a piece of bacon into his mouth, chewed it slowly and swallowed it. He asked, "What are your plans for today?"

I replied casually, "I'm going to work, of course."

It took me a while to realize that it was Saturday, and I didn't need to go to the company.

I was dumbfounded for a moment before saying, "I'll sleep at home then!"

He said with a faint smile, "Hmm, that sounds nice as well. The weather isn't very good today and it would be nice to sleep."

I couldn't help but look at him. It seemed that there was some other meaning behind his words.

However, I couldn't say anything either, so I had to change the subject by saying, "What about you? Do you have any plans for today?" He looked at me, and his voice was gentle and low as he replied, "I'll accompany you to sleep!"

I choked all of a sudden. The way Hendrix spoke was getting more and more...

Noticing my reaction, he asked with an indifferent expression, "What's wrong?"

My face turned hot, and I simply put down the knife and fork in my hands and got up, saying, "It's nothing. You should enjoy your meal!" He frowned and said, "Finish your food!"

I was stunned for a moment. Then, he said again, "How could you be full after just two bites of your breakfast? Is your stomach that small?"

I pursed my lips and looked at him, "If you stop talking, then I'll eat it all."

It was his turn to be stunned. He frowned slightly, "I shouldn't talk?"

I nodded and looked at him in a serious way. A moment later, he finally compromised. He nodded and gestured for me to finish the rest of my food.
