That word, 'parasite', caused Andrea to stand up. "Arianna, you!"

She was angry, very angry, and her beautiful eyes flashed dangerously. She gnashed her teeth together and said, "Do you think I am shameless?"

I looked at her squarely and nodded. "Yes!"

I didn't like to quarrel, and I didn't want to scold others. But Andrea was insatiable.

She wouldn't tell me what she knew about that day, but it didn't matter. Knowing her, she wouldn't have actually spent time investigating what happened that night. I guessed that it must have been Austin who knew.

It was better to ask Hendrix than to get information from her. I grabbed my bag from the table, ready to leave.

Andrea was furious after being insulted. She had no way to vent her anger. In the end, she yelled at my back, "Arianna, who do you think you are? You're just coasting on Hendrix being in love with you for now Do you really think you're great? If you are really great, why don't the Moore Family admit your existence? It's because you are a nobody!"

I scoffed. I didn't need to listen to the rest of her

words.

After coming out of the coffee shop, I took a long breath. As I left, my eyes fell on the crab place nearby, and I felt my heart squeeze.

My phone rang. I glanced at the caller ID. Hendrix.

I hung up. I wasn't ready to return home yet.

I walked along the crowded streets aimlessly.

I didn't know how long I had walked, the weather was foggy, and there was the faint sound of thunder. When I finally came out of my daze, it was raining and I was getting soaked.

I looked around, trying to get my bearings. But I did not know where I was. I seemed to be in a small alley.

I tried to find a way out, to find familiar landmarks but drew a blank.

After hesitating for a long while, I turned on my phone to access navigation when I felt someone standing behind me.

Immediately, I turned around and saw the man. I jerked in shock, and then I found the stranger's name in my mind-Westin! Why was he here?

I forced myself to calm down. Looking at him, forced a smile and said, "Long time no see, Westin!"

He pursed his lips and looked at me, his eyes so dark. After a long time, he replied, "Miss Reid, long time no see!"

This place was remote, no one was here. If I said I weren't scared, it would be a lie.

What was more, I don't know why he had found me. Although I tried my best to keep calm, my hands were trembling.

He didn't reply, just kept staring at me. I took a deep breath. "When did you come back? Have you eaten?"

Lightning flashed across the sky, and the raindrops pelted down.

He looked at me and gave a nonanswer. "Don't run away anymore. Kelab has come here. His house in Myanway was lost in a fire. Many goods were destroyed, and he suffered a great loss. If he finds you, you will be very miserable!"

After that, he turned around. The thin clothes on his broad body were wet with rain. Giving him a miserable air.

I shouted instinctively to stop him. "Westin!"
