I was stupefied for a moment and frowned. "Sebastian, what do you mean? Are you trying to imprison me?"

He shook his head and answered like a ruffian, "No, of course not. How can I possibly imprison you? I just want you to stay here for a few days. No one has lived in this villa since I renovated it. It's no longer live here, so I just wanted you to stay here and liven up the place."

As he said this, he reached out and pressed the bell by the chair. After a moment, someone came up. It was a middle-aged man. Sebastian looked at the man and said, "Hodge, I have to trouble you to look after my friends for the next few days."

After that, he got up and walked out.

I stopped him. "Sebastian, you're breaking the law. Let us go."

"We will discuss it when you find the box. I'm a little tired now. Hodge will bring you to your room. Don't worry too much. Just stay here, and I believe Hendrix will help you find the box."

I pursed my lips and glared at him, but he didn't look at me at all and left directly.

After he left, Hodge stared at me and gave me a

gentle smile. "Miss Reid, the room is on the fourth floor, you..."

"Take me to the third floor!" I uttered and then rushed out of the room. Sebastian's villa was so enormous that I needed to traverse a long distance just to get to another floor. Hodge was frowning and he was hesitant to bring me there.

I ordered again, "Take me there. Since Sebastian wants me to stay here, it's impossible for him to confine me in a room."

Hodge was slightly startled. He nodded in agreement.

The layout on the third floor was different from that of the first and second floors. The third floor was locked with an iron padlock. I couldn't help frowning. "Where are my friends? Are all of them locked in here?" Hodge smiled and said, "Of course not, Miss Reid, your friends are on the fourth floor. Miss Reid, don't worry. This floor is solely used for Mr. Milton's pets. Back then, his pets would just roam around freely and it startled people, so Mr. Milton decided to lock them up."

I nodded and asked, "Are they all snakes? Or are there other things in there?"

Hodge smiled lightly. "Master Sebastian likes to collect exotic animals, so he has a ton of different species as his pets. He has been rearing them for quite some time now. Are you interested in a tour?"

I pursed my lips. I didn't know what the inside was like, and thus I kept my mouth shut. If it was like a zoo, then it was still fine. But if his pets were not confined and they all roamed around freely, then it would be too dangerous.

After giving it some thought, I replied, "No thanks. Hodge, take me to the fourth floor!"

He nodded, smiled, and brought me up to the fourth floor. This villa was shockingly huge, and the interior design resembled those of 19th-century European architecture. It was luxurious but cold. The stairs were very complicated. Perhaps it was the designer trying to show off his eye for design and artistic skills.

We arrived at the fourth floor.

It was a European-style hall with an area of more than 100 square meters. A statue of Venus was placed in the hall, and on the side, there was another statue of the Virgin Mary nursing a baby.

I wasn't too into the arts, so I didn't really know how to appreciate the artistic beauty of these statues.

There were sofas and tables in the hall. Tobias stood by the window. He was looking out at the scenery outside the window, seemingly deep in thought.
