I wasn't sure if it was because I knew that Estella was interested in Hendrix, or because I rejected her request for promotion the last time. I felt guilty and thought that there was no need to pretend to be familiar with her.

You don't have to stay with me all the time. If you feel bored, you can walk around in the house and get familiarized with the environment."

I bet he couldn't deal with her, so he left her to you, right?" Thinking of Hendrix saying that I liked Estella, I couldn't help laughing. I collected myself and calmed down, waving my hand as I said, "You're overthinking."

"I think you're pretty at ease," Freya told me. Hoping that I could live up to her expectations, she advised, "Although Hendrix can still be considered reliable, with his handsome-looking face, it's no doubt that girls will surround him all the time. But you'll never be forever young, so it's necessary for you to be careful all the time."

I still laughed at her advice and felt that she was overthinking. Freya glanced at me in exasperation and caught a glimpse of some documents on the table. She picked it up and flipped through it, asking, "You're preparing for your postgraduate again? Why are you wasting your time?"

"How is this a waste of time?" I smiled and explained, "I'm also a shareholder of Roberts Group. With my current level of education, I will only embarrass myself. Besides, I still have to sit for the exam to get the official lawyer's certificate. Now that Hendrix does not allow me to intervene in Roberts Group, shouldn't I find something else to do in the meantime?"

Freya put the study materials down and asked, "Then why don't you just sit for the bar exam?"
