My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) -
Chapter 891
The man carried Naomi out with him. I guess they went to do what they'd agreed on.
Naturally, the others followed suit.
The rest of the men each dragged a woman with them and headed straight to their rooms.
At that moment, some women panicked and began to resist.
However, the men were far more stronger than these women. There was no way they could fight back.
From their point of view, their struggle was nothing more than child's play. It just served as part of the prologue.
One of the men brought me to a cabin, and I was immediately thrown onto the bed.
As I hadn't gotten to talk to Naomi, I didn't know what she was up to.
The only thing I could do was to stall for time. As I thought of this, I raised my hand and touched the man who'd thrown himself on me.
I tried my best to imitate Naomi's mannerisms, lowering my voice as I looked at the man. "We shouldn't rush what we're doing."
The man chuckled and approached me. He was compliant, however. He pulled me towards him and kissed me on the back of my hand. He looked at me and said, "Your skin's really fair."
I smiled and narrowed my eyes. My movements were slow and precise. I looped my hands around his neck and said in a low voice, "Do you like it?"
Most of the southern region were either in the highlands or tropical areas, so most of the girls who lived here were relatively tanned, their skin a little rough.
Unlike those from the southern region, the girls from the northern region were fair-skinned and petite, which made them look particularly desirable to lust-filled men.
The man nodded.
I fought back the nauseous feeling in me, forced a smile and said, "Can I ask you a question, handsome?"
As I spoke, I took the initiative to pull our bodies close together.
"What do you want to ask, babe?"
"Where are we? Where are we going to go?"
The man narrowed his eyes slightly and said, "Don't even think about escaping. There have been at least eight hundred women who've come here, and I've never seen anyone return."
My heart sank. I looked up at him and said gently, "Now that we've come this far, it's impossible for us to go back. I just want to know where we are and where we'll go."
"It's a small place at the border, called Murray Ville. There's only a few families here with no main roads. You will be sent out of the country to a seller who has their own plans for you. That's all I know." As he spoke, his voice took an ambiguous turn as he pressed himself on me.
I couldn't find any more excuses to stall for time.
Panic started setting in. I plastered a smile on my face and said, 'Won't it be too dull if we get straight down to business?"
"F*ck!" He snapped. "City batches really like beating around the bush."
I wanted to cover myself up with something, but there was nothing around me that I could use to protect myself.
After struggling for a bit more, I touched a brick beside me. I squinted my eyes as I pulled myself together.
Just as I moved to raise the brick in my hand, the man before me stopped moving.
I called out to him tentatively, "What's wrong?"
He didn't move a muscle.
