I looked back at Tina and the others, who were being helped into the cabin.

They hadn't spoken at all in the past few days. They were exhausted after all the rushing around.

Her face was deathly pale. I believed that she would have collapsed onto the ground if there wasn't someone holding on to her.

A frown etched on my forehead when I realized that they were all clutching at their stomachs. However, I didn't get a chance to ask about it as I was urged to get on the plane.

Naomi's condition had gotten a little better after we boarded the plane, and she had arranged to go back to the cabin, where other strangers were seated.

I felt that something was amiss after taking a quick scan around the cabin, but I couldn't tell what was wrong then.

I simply fastened my seat belt, and waited for the plane to take off.

The flight from Asia to Western Europe took more than ten hours, and I was groggy when the plane landed.

After leaving the airport, we were taken to another villa.

Exhausted from the long journey, Naomi and the others had almost all fallen asleep.

With what little energy I still had left, I tried looking for a phone to call Hendrix, but I was stopped.

The man who had brought us here was tall and sturdy. He always looked menacing, like he was repelled by the very thought of smiling.

Even his voice was cold as he told me, "Miss Reid, you need to rest."

I tried to tell him. "Sir, I would like to call my family."

His demeanor remained the same. He said stiffly, "Miss Reid, you're not allowed to have any contact with the outside world without Mr. Milton's permission."

He stared me down, as if he wanted to force me back to my room to rest.

As Sebastian had done all this for me, it wouldn't be good if I caused any trouble. So, I nodded and went back into my room.

Although I was feeling extremely sleepy after the long journey, jet lag prevented any actual rest.

My mounting doubts crashed against each other as I laid awake. I thought about how the uneasy feeling at the pit of my stomach had started since Sebastian proposed to take me with him. However, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't figure out what was bugging me.

I finally fell asleep in the late hours of the night, and was only awakened by a knock on the door the next morning.

I got up to open the door to find Dahlia outside, her face deathly pale. The other girls seemed to have gotten very weak due to their long-term imprisonment.

They hadn't spoken at all in the past few days. Thus, I did not get to talk to them.

I was a little surprised when she walked straight into the bedroom and locked the door.

She casted a glare at me. Although she didn't say anything, I could feel that she was full of resentment.

Perplexed, I could not help but ask, "What's wrong, Dahlia?"

Her face was cold. After a moment, she pulled up her clothes.

That was when I saw her abdomen, wrapped in gauze. My blood left my body.

"When did you get hurt? How did you get hurt..."

The gauze spoke louder than words.

That wound on her belly. It didn't take a genius to figure out what had happened.

I had seen the rows of operating rooms in Kaleb's villa, where they'd put Methamphetamine into the women's bodies.

I understood what Dahlia's wound meant. Kaleb's men had already inserted the Methamphetamine into the girls' bodies.

I recalled the state they had been in these past couple days. Their faces were either pale, or they always suffered from abdominal pain. It turned out that they weren't like this because of their imprisonment at

all.
