I walked out the room with him. As I walked downstairs, I could see Westin's tall, fierce figure, standing in the hall under the dim light. He looked at us listlessly. I stopped in my tracks, calling out instinctively, "Westin!"

"Let's go!" Sebastian barely looked at him, as he headed straight out while holding onto me.

I thought that Westin would've stopped us, but unexpectedly, he just stood there and watched me leave.

I hesitated before I turned back around. "Thank you!"

He just glanced at Sebastian without malice and without saying a thing.

There were three black cars waiting for us outside the villa. The sound of gunshots rang out from the rubber tree forest as soon as we got on the car.

Sebastian pushed me into the car and addressed the driver immediately, "Take them and go now!"

Kaleb probably had returned. I panicked for a moment and looked at Sebastian. I didn't know what to say, so I just told him, "Be careful!"

He stared blankly at me for a moment before he nodded.

The car did not go towards the direction of the rubber tree forest; rather, it headed into the forest behind the villa.

The car was going in the opposite direction of the sound of gunshots and thunder, which indicated incoming rainfall.

The mountain road was rough and rocky. I felt lightheaded along the way due to the bumps, my stomach rolling. I couldn't help but retch a few times.

The gunshots behind us continued. It seemed that the other party had no intention of giving up the chase. After entering the mountain forest, the car drove towards an empty space up ahead. We were at the airport, and there were helicopters in sight!

It took me a while to react when the car stopped. The driver yelled, "Get out of the car!"

With barely any hesitation, he jumped out of the car and forcefully dragged me along. Naomi and the others had been in the cars in front of us, similarly being escorted out.

"Get on the chopper now! Hurry up!" The man standing at the cabin door shouted.

I turned around and looked back in the direction of the villa, but I couldn't see anything. Thick smoke rose and clouded the air.

It puzzled me, watching Naomi and the others being helped onto the chopper. I couldn't figure out why.

I quickly got myself on the chopper, and saw how pale Naomi's face was. I couldn't help but ask, "Naomi, how are you feeling?"

She opened her eyes weakly and looked at me as she opened her mouth. She wanted to say something, but she couldn't due to her sore throat.

The man next to me said, "Get back to your seat, stop moving. We're about to take off."

"Where's Sebastian?" I asked him, wary.

The man paused for a moment before replying, "Mr. Milton will meet us in Europe. Well head there first. Things'll work out there"

I nodded and returned to my seat. Although I was a little worried about Naomi, the priority was to leave this place.

The chopper took off.

Naomi started clutching her stomach halfway through the flight. Her face was twisted in pain, cold sweat covering her forehead.

Worry shook my being. I wanted to go and help her, but someone stopped me. "Miss Reid, our people will take care of her. Please sit down. Don't get in the crew's way!"

I could only watch as I saw several people supporting Naomi into the operation cabin. There was really nothing I could do at this moment.

The chopper landed a few hours later. I had no idea where we were after the long flight.

"We're getting on another plane. Let's not waste any time. Hurry up!"

I followed them off the chopper and transferred at the airport where we landed. We boarded a plane without going through the security check.

I couldn't help but feel doubtful about the events unfolding before me. Had Sebastian really taken care of everything in advance?
