I stopped her and said, "It's okay if I can't find them. Maybe I left them in the villa, or dropped them somewhere else. You go first. I'll redo the procedure again."

"It's not that easy. You'd just gotten your documents together. If you put in another application again, they will definitely request to verify your identity again. It would take another two weeks at least." It really was the only way.

Naomi's anxiety was palpable. She looked at me and said, "Arianna, listen to me. This time, we'll go to every store and look in the trash cans. I think well find it there."

"Why are we looking in the trash cans?" I asked, perplexed.

She thought for a moment and said, "It's hard to explain. Let's go look first."

After saying that, she took me to look in the trash cans of all the stores, also asking if the store assistants had thrown them out.

The store assistant was also confused. She was also surprised by the sudden appearance of the documents since we had come back and forth looking for it twice.

She immediately shook her head and said, "It wasn't us who threw those away. We have never seen these documents before. There are security cameras here, you can take a look at the footage. We never would've done that."

"Let's take a look!" Naomi said angrily, "Who else could've thrown them?! You guys are being so

unkind!"

"Naomi, forget it. We still have to catch our flight, so let's go. Let's not waste time." The important thing was that we had found the documents.

She was stubborn and firm on this. "No, I have to watch the footage."

The store assistant couldn't resist her, and she had no choice but to show Naomi the footage to prove her innocence.

I couldn't help but look at Sebastian and whispered, "Sorry, we might be delayed a while."

Sebastian smiled faintly. "It's okay!"

Dahlia was seen holding my bag as she took out all of the documents in it, and threw them directly into the trash can behind our back.

Then she followed us and went out of the store, as if nothing had happened.
