My Pretty Sweetheart (Arianna) -
Chapter 935
"F**k!" Naomi could not rein in her temper anymore. "What the hell is she doing? She wants to stop you from going back?"
I pursed my lips, and apologized to the store assistants before giving my thanks again. I kept the documents and headed out of the store.
Seeing me keep my silence, Naomi couldn't hold back anymore. She grabbed hold of my hand and said, "Say something! Tell me what you think."
I said with a smile, "Even if the flight is delayed, we still have to hurry. We need to board in a few minutes."
She was speechless. "No, I'm talking about what Dahlia did. She's obviously not a good person. Are you going to let it go just like that, without saying anything?" We found the boarding gate after going through the security check, but fortunately, they were still outside.
Upon seeing us, Tina and Rainie hurriedly ran over and asked, "How is it? Did you guys find them?"
"Could Arianna have gone through security checks if we didn't find the documents? Would she still be here?" Naomi replied angrily, staring pointedly at
Dahlia.
I glanced at her quickly, then turned my gaze to Tina and Rainie and said, "I found them. How long will the flight be delayed?"
"About half an hour or so, but there was an announcement just now saying that the plane can now take off. We're preparing to board the plane now."
I nodded, smiled, but didn't say anything else.
Naomi was a very straightforward person, and she couldn't hold in her anger. She walked towards Dahlia and said ominously, "Did you feel disappointed when you saw us walk in?"
Dahlia's face darkened as she stuttered, "You... what kind of nonsense are you spouting now?"
"uah!" Naomi looked at her sardonically. "People like you are really disgusting, selfish and narrowminded."
"Naomi, if you have anything to say, just say it. Else, if you don't like me, please look away, you don't have to notice me. Don't stir up unnecessary trouble." Dahlia raised her voice, attracting the attention of everyone around her.
"Do you think I like looking at you? The sight of you only makes me sick. I'm just looking for unnecessary trouble? I was wondering why you insisted on letting Arianna go look for her documents herself. It turned out that it was all your doing. You didn't want her to get on the flight. You are being so ungrateful. How could you still pray to God every day? Don't you feel disgusted with yourself?"
Naomi's words hit hard, which instantly made Dahlia's face flush red with embarrassment. Just when she was about to refute, Tina asked, "What are you guys talking about?"
"Nothing. We're boarding soon. Let's get on the plane!" I interrupted them.
They got on the plane and said nothing along the way. Naomi was feeling extremely uncomfortable trying to hold her anger in. She had been sitting in the same row as Dahlia initially but had been so angry that she called the flight attendant halfway through and insisted on changing her seat.
Dahlia was riled up by all this. She pointed at her and scolded her. "Naomi, don't be so dramatic. You'll just embarrass yourself."
"Embarrass myself?!" Naomi was also infuriated. "Don't you have any shame? If I were you, I would be too embarrassed to sit here now. You have done something wrong, but you don't want others to talk about it. Aren't you ashamed?"
"No arguing on the plane. Please keep quiet." The flight attendant stepped forward and said solemnly.
The two women finally quietened down. Naomi had changed her seat, and was still furious when she sat down.
Perplexed at all this, Tina asked, "What's wrong with you? Why are you so angry?"
"How could I not be angry after meeting someone so shameless?" Naomi was someone who could not hold in her anger.
"What happened? What did Dahlia do?"
"Go ask her yourself!" Naomi said and closed her eyes. Her anger had not yet subsided.
More than ten hours later, the plane landed in Asherton. Upon getting off the plane, Naomi grabbed hold of me as she asked me reluctantly, "When are you going back to Jarold City? Could we get together these few days?"
