I tried to keep calm and stared at him cooly, "Oscar, what is the meaning of this? I don't think I've done anything to offend you. Why are you blocking my way?"

He chuckled and his gaze fell on Linda, who was next to me. He sneered at her, "You seem to have lived well these years. Beautiful as usual."

What? Before I could figure out what was going on, Linda said, "If you want to look for trouble, just come at me. Let her go."

"Coincidentally, I am here for the both of you!" Oscar responded.

"Arianna, were you abandoned by Hendrix after you complained? I've seen the girl with him. She was a rare beauty. If I had to choose between you two, I would have left you too. However, you're still quite a treasure to me. Without Hendrix backing you up, what do you say? Why don't you give me a chance?"

"Oscar Hathaway, are you sick?" Linda shouted and pushed me behind her. "Did you forget the purpose you came to Asherton for? Do you want to return to Ducrey Ville again?" "Are you f*cking threatening me?" Oscar became upset and began to spew vulgarities.

Linda did not back down and said coldly, "Whether it is a threat or not, it is up to you to decide. Don't forget how you came to Asherton. I destroyed you once, I can do it again."

"Slap!" The violent gesture came out of nowhere.

Linda's hand went to her face, I saw blood was oozing from the corner of her mouth. Oscar growled, "I gave you some level of respect, didn't I? DEstroy me twice? Did you think I can't do anything to you because you have the backing of the Milton family?"

He looked around and ordered the men he brought with him, "Take these two women to the room on the second floor."

"Oscar, do you want to die?"

"Slap!" Linda was slapped again.

"Don't spew nonsense. As if the Milton family can really hurt me, I dare them to take away my official title." His words were really arrogant.

It was quite a commotion that attracted other onlookers. However, Oscar was experienced in doing such underhanded things. He immediately dismissed everyone else.

We were no match for those men. Linda and I were carried and dragged up to the second floor.

We were left in a suite. Then, the men left. Only Oscar stayed.

The man had a beer belly and he leered at us. With a disgusting smile on his face, he said, "I haven't had fun for a long time. This time, I will be really satisfied."

Linda was so angry that she picked up an object beside her and threw it at him, but he dodged it.

Worried that she would cause trouble, Oscar ordered his men to come in and tied us to the chairs.

He looked at me very proudly and said, "Miss Reid, tell me, if you cooperated with me from the beginning, even after Hendrix abandoned you, I would've still taken you in. Why bother?" I was so disgusted by him and refused to speak.

He dragged a chair over and sat in front of me. He goaded me, "But it's not too late now. Be mine and I'll let you enjoy the rest of your life. What do you say?"

"Don't be disgusting!" If my hands were not tied up, I would've definitely slapped this horrible man on the face.

Instead of getting angry, he laughed and said, "You do have a personality. No wonder Hendrix fell for you."

Linda mocked, "Oscar, have you never looked in the mirror? Don't you feel disgusted by yourself? You'd better release us or you'll be in serious trouble."
