Oscar gave her a cold glance and sneered, "Do you think I am still the Oscar that you can manipulate however you want to from five years ago? Do you really think that the Milton Family can really take me on in Asherton?"

"Of course they can't do anything to you, but I think I can!" Naomi's sudden appearance shocked both Linda and me.

Naomi leaned leisurely against the door frame of the bathroom with her lips pouting slightly. She appeared delicate and weak, and sounded coy, "Oscar, if I press this button now, what do you think will happen?"

She slowly raised the phone in her hand and asked, the picture of innocence with her puppydog eyes, "Why don't we try? I'm also curious about what will happen!"

"Naomi!" Oscar said curtly. Obviously, he was angry. With a hateful smile, he bit out, "How did you come in?"

Naomi pinched her own cheek and mocked, "Your fake smile is really hurtful. Your face is very stiff."

She was not in a hurry to answer Oscar's question. She took in the room and found a place with a good vantage point. Then, she sat down, her phone still in her hand.

After she made herself comfortable, she said quietly, "Oscar, you are too forgetful. My father built this bar for me in case I went out to cause trouble a few years ago. I came here today to drink because I had nothing to do. I got drunk, so I wanted to find a room to take a bath and sleep. I didn't expect that I would accidentally see something I shouldn't have seen. Alas, I'm so unlucky!"

She spoke carefreely, chin in hand while looking at Oscar. Her tone was almost too innocent, "You see, I have seen it and I can't undo it. The old man has always told me that people should do what is righteous. Oscar, do you think it will affect you if I call the police?"

Oscar couldn't maintain his smile anymore. He frowned at her and bit out, "What do you want?"

Naomi sighed and took her time, she did not seem to want anything. After a long pause, she said, "I don't lack anything. To be honest, I just need a man. However, you are too old and fat. You can't bite with your teeth and you smell disgusting. I don't want you."

Ignoring Oscar's furious expression, she pondered over it again then said seriously, "Well, I saw that you hit them just now. Why don't we let them have a go at you for a change?"

Oscar's face went black and he clenched his fist. I thought he was going to lose his temper, but he actually agreed.

He even walked up to us and untied the ropes that bound our hands.

Linda and I were stunned. We still didn't know what was going on at the moment.

Naomi held her chin and fiddled with her mobile phone. She didn't utter another word. Oscar glanced at her, gritted his teeth and looked at Linda, "Slap me back!"

Linda was still frozen with shock. I had to admit, I was just as confused. She looked at Naomi, only to see that she was playing with her mobile phone as if nothing had happened. After a moment, she barked out, "Leave!"

Hearing this, Oscar gaped at her. Naomi looked at him but did not speak.

She said innocently, "Why are you looking at me? It's you who beat her. She didn't take it to heart, so you should thank her, not me."

Oscar looked at Linda and said, "Thank you!"

Then, he looked at Naomi and said, "Please send my regards to your father."

Naomi nodded then lowered her head to fiddle with her mobile phone again. Oscar left with his men hastily.

Crisis over, Linda and I calmed down and exchanged glances.

We looked at Naomi when she got up and was ready to leave without saying anything after the men had left.

Linda stopped her, "Miss Attwood, thank you."

"No need. I was just passing by." She left as quickly as she arrived.

After what had happened just now, the awkwardness at noon had long since disappeared. I said, "Didn't you want Linda to drink with you? It's not very sincere for you to just come and go."
