-This is my fault! I’ll carry you in my arms to your room.

-Eren, no, that’s not necessary, I…

-He interrupts her, “Relax, I’ve forced you too much on this trip.” He leaves a k**s on her forehead and walks back to the house.

-Alpha, will she recover? -asks the worried girl.

-Yes, she’s just tired, don’t worry,” she smiles.

They climbed safely to the top, being welcomed by the people of the castle with open arms, their birthplace was also called Silver Moon. Eren thought that naming his own pack that name would suit him well as it would make him feel at home. With Valentina in his arms he walked to the entrance of the castle where he was greeted by his father’s beta with a smile on his lips.

-Boy, look how big you are. You’re not a puppy anymore,” Eren commemorated him well, Shane was a great beta, he reminded him of Deon.

-I wasn’t going to stay a puppy forever Shane,” smiled the young man.

-Come on in, your father wants to see you.

-She needs to rest first, have you prepared a room?

-Of course, my prince. And this little girl, who is she? -The Beta leans towards Sophia, who is hiding behind Eren. -Shane frowns.

-She’s my beta’s daughter. I brought her to keep my moon company.

-Your moon? Human, huh? Wow! Her father will be so pleased.

In the end Eren left Valentina lying on a bed accompanied by Sofia who lay down next to her. Taking the puppy away ended up being a good thing after all. In his absence her moon would not be alone.

-I’ll be gone for a while puppy, so take care of her, okay?

-Yes my alpha.

-No mischief!

The girl smiles as Eren ruffles her hair. She looks back at the brunette, she was surrendered. She brushes a few strands of hair away from her face and then caresses her cheek tenderly. The alpha smiled because even if she rejected his marriage proposal, she wanted to stay by his side. With those thoughts she left the room.

Bardas sat on his throne massaging the hundred on his head. The arrival of his son had made him very happy as he felt that he was not far from leaving this world. He had barely managed to become a wolf. Fortunately his son would take care of everything as soon as he left.

-King Bardas, the prince has arrived.” The older alpha looked up, thinking that he had long since ceased to be a king, from the moment his health deteriorated.

• What are you waiting for? Show my dear son in.

The doors of the hall open and Eren, seeing his father, smiles. He hurries to his side and gives him a formidable hug. For the last few times he had gone to see him he was in his wolf form. It had been many years since he had been in his presence as a human.

-Father! How good to see you.

-You’re home at last my son, I’m glad you decided to return as quickly as possible.

-It has not been easy, father.

-I heard that your people didn’t come, what happened?

-They’d rather be in the forest than here in this castle. They grew up there, I thought it would be very difficult to bring them all here.

-Well, that’s not good, it was important that they came with you. I’d like you to stay focused.

-Don’t worry, father, everything will be fine. -He answers a little saddened, an emotion that Bardas notices immediately.

-Very well. -He answers dryly. -Since you’re here, from now on you’ll be the new king Eren. I can’t go on, I need to rest.

Bardas stands up a little tired, leaving a desolate throne which Eren watched carefully. It was his by right, whether he wanted it or not it was his duty to assume his father’s legacy. But why was his heart set on that small village where he grew up as man and animal? Neo mentally, his father was right, he had to stay focused.

-Eren, did you bring the human with you? -The old man pauses before walking out the door.

-Yes father, my moon is with me. She’s resting in my room.

-Very well, my son! Very well…” The man continues on his way, disappearing behind the door.

Eren sighs heavily looking at his father’s seat and then his mother’s, he pats the hand rest where the queen once sat as vague memories of when he was just a puppy came back to him. He always looked at his parents sitting there as he watched him run around the tables where they all ate together. Usually his father would open the castle doors so that soldiers and staff alike could eat at the huge, long tables. Like the family he was.

The young alpha makes an attempt to sit on the throne but something stops him and he squirms. He turns and raises his chin, turns around and then leaves the room. He did not understand why, but he was not yet ready to take that seat.

Valentina blinks, her eyelids feeling a little heavy, her brain was working well but her body was not responding. She felt so tired that she didn’t really feel like opening her eyes.

-Valentina, are you all right? -Suddenly she heard Sofia’s voice speaking very close to her, which made her wake up.

-Sofi? -She wet her lips with her tongue, she was dead thirsty.

-Yes, yes, it’s me, you’ve finally woken up! -She answers excitedly. -Are you all right?

-Water, I want some water.

The girl stood up to get a glass of water from the tap. She ran back to the brown girl who had sat up.

-Are you all right? -She held out the glass.

-Yes, I think so.” She drank all the liquid quickly.

-Not long, the alpha brought you loaded and you were already asleep. Are you feeling better?

Now that she remembered well, she had fallen to her knees in exhaustion. Even though it was only a day’s journey, it was very strenuous for her as a human. With so many mountains in her path the air had been short of breath and her legs were too weak for more. Then Eren took her in his arms and she didn’t remember anything else until she woke up.

The brunette looked around assuming she was already inside Eren’s father’s castle. The young girl stood up walking to the window, behind her followed by Sofia.

-This place is so big! -She exclaimed in surprise at the vastness of the land before her.

-Yes, but the alpha forbade me to leave,” she complains, letting her body rest against the window.

-I suppose when we get used to this place we could go out and explore a bit.

-I hope so! I don’t want to stay cooped up in this room all the time.

The brunette thought the same as the girl, it would be quite overwhelming to stay cooped up in the four walls of her room. She would have to talk to Eren to see what agreement they could come to.
