Chapter 39

I wasn't really hungry. Not after the events of the day. Still, I went into the restaurant with Kenzo.

I wanted to show him that I'm okay now. I mean, I sort of am. I'm still shaking, but.. I do feel safe now that I'm with Kenzo, and far away from that guy.

I want to show Kenzo that he makes me feel safe. Which means trying to act as normal as I can. I feel like that's what I should do anyways. How else can I get over the situation? "Kenzo." I said.

We were just sat at a table in one the fanciest restaraunts I've been in. I definitely think we are undressed, but Kenzo doesn't seem to care. He's just looking over his menu like everything is completely normal. "Hmm?" He asked without looking at me.

"Do. Do you think we should call the police or something?" I asked. "I mean, what if this guy is stalking me?"

I'm still a bit freaked out yes. I'm trying to be strong for Kenzo, but I can't shake the feeling that I might see that man again. What if he knows where I live? Jed is there now, what if he hurts my brother? Kenzo shook his head, and then looked at me.

"No kitten. The police won't help. You have no idea who this guy is. I promise that nothing will happen though. I told you I would be hiring someone to watch your place." He said.

I chewed on my bottom lip. I guess he has a point. It just.. doesn't sit right with me

"Are you afraid because you live alone?" Kenzo asked.

"Well, actually I'm no-"

"Hi there. I'm Tara, I'll be your server tonight. Mr. Suzuki, would you like your usual wine today?" Our server asked interrupting me.

"Actually, I would like something a bit sweeter. I believe that the owner has left something special aside for me." Kenzo told her.

"He has." Tara said. "I will be right back with that."

"Don't even think about only getting a salad kitten." Kenzo told me when Tara walked away.

I frowned.

"But I ate junk all day," I said.

"No, you ate only junk today. You didn't have breakfast, or lunch. You need to eat some actual food. A healthy steak, potatoes, and asparagus. How's that sound kitten?" Kenzo asked as he looked up from his menu to me. I just blinked at him for a moment.

"How do you know that I didn't eat anything before the Aquarium?" I asked him.

Kenzo smirked

"It was just a hunch. One that you just confirmed." He said

I frowned.

"So, steak?"

"That was the best steak I've ever had. The baked potato was phenomenal. And that asparagus. Ugh! You should order all of my meals." I said as we walked out of the restauraunt. Kenzo chuckled as he grabbed my hand.

"I'll let the chef know you liked it. And I will be ordering all of your lunch and dinner meals from now on then." He said.

"Wait, really? Isn't that my job?" I asked.

Kenzo shook his head.

"I'll just tell you what to get us." He said.

I gave him a nod. That sounds fair. Kenzo apparently knows what I like, so why not.

"So, you know the owner, and the chef?" I asked.

Kenzo chuckled

"They're the same person. A friend of my fathers." He said.

"Well, he is doing great. My compliments. I hope we can come back." I said with a giggle.

Kenzo turned his head to me, and gave me a strange look that I don't understand.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing." He said as he shook his head. "Just thinking about all of the times I'm going to bring you back here."

I giggled at him as we walked down the street.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"I thought maybe we could take a walk." Kenzo said

I smiled as I wrapped myself around his arm.

"This really is a date huh?" I mumbled.

"Of course it is." Kenzo stated.

"I'm having a wonderful time Kenzo, thank you." I said.

"Anything for my favorite kitten." He said, and kissed the top of my head.

"Hey Kenzo...

"Hmm?"

"Do. you have other kittens? Other. Subs?" I asked.

Chapter 39: Kenzo's First

I looked up at Kenzo as he shook his head.

'You are my only Sub. If you'll have me anyways." He said.

"How many have you had in the past?" I asked

I'm not jealous, I'm just curious. I want to know how Kenzo manages this kind of lifestyle. Were there other Subs that he just didn't let into his CEO life? Kenzo chuckled at me.

"You are my first." He said.

I stopped walking completely causing Kenzo to stop a step ahead of me.

"You don't have to lie Kenzo. I was just curious." I said.

"I'm not lying." Kenzo said. "I've been a trainer at the Pet Store since I was very young. I knew I liked that lifestyle, but. I had to take over the company very young as well.

Those two lives don't mix well. I had Subs I trained, I learned how to be the perfect Dom, but.. I never had a girlfriend Opal. Not the real Dom/Sub relationship that I actually want." He told me. I'm stunned.

"Wh-why haven't you tried before?" I asked.

Kenzo shrugged.

"Never found anyone I trusted enough. Do you know how bad it would be for Suzuki Industries if my secret got out? It 11 Bonus.

would dishonor my family. I couldn't risk that." He said

"But.. Then why.?" I asked hoping he knew what I meant.

Kenzo reached out to grip my chin.

"I told you, you are a natural Sub. You're like a dimond I found amongst stones. I can train you how I see fit. Train you to keep my secret, and you will obey me in every way.

Because it's in your nature." He said

"And the fact that I already worked for your company has nothing to do with this?" I asked skeptically.

Kenzo sighed.

"I wanted you before I even know you were in my CEO life.

Plus, that contract I made you sign means you cannot tell another soul about anything that happens between us." He said

I frowned.

"I completely forgot about that stupid thing." I said with an eye roll. "I hope you know that I wouldn't do something like that anyways. I'm still not sure about this... whole Sub thing, but I still wouldn't do that. It's not right." I said. Kenzo dipped his head down to hover right in front of my face.

"That is exactly why I want you." He said softly.

"Because I can keep a secret?" I asked teasingly.

"Because you're a good person." Kenzo said.

I blushed, and averted my eyes.

"I still don't know what I want." I mumbled.

"That's okay." Kenzo said.

I looked back up at him.

"I think we both know that you belong to me, kitten." He said lowly.

I wanted to roll my eyes at him, but I can't. Not with that low tone. Paired with those intense black eyes. All I could do was stare as my face grew more hot.

"Come, we have some things to discuss." Kenzo ordered as he held his arm out for me.

I gladly wrapped my arms around his large one, and we started walking again.

"Where do you even find the time to go to the gym?" | mumbled.

Kenzo chuckled.

"I work out in the mornings usually. I do harder workouts on the weekends when I have more time." He told me.

"How do you balance it all? Being a CEO, a trainer, working out, every day life?" I asked with a laugh.

"Well, I just work as hard as I can. I don't get to spend very much time at the Pet Store. Not as much as I did before I became the CEO of Suzuki Industries. Everything else.. I just make it work when I can." He said "Must be why you're always so tired." I said

"I'm not always tired." Kenzo argued

"You're right. Just before you've had your fifth cup of coffee." I teased

Kenzo smiled down at me, and I nearly melted into him.

"Anyways, what did you want to discuss?" I asked him.

Kenzo blew out a breath.

"There are rules at the Pet Store. Ones you must follow while we are there." He told me.

"Like referring to you as Master Kenzo?" I asked.

Kenzo nodded.

"Yes, you will refer to all of the trainers as Master, and then their name. I will introduce you to the two others when we get there. You will not speak to them unless I give you permission. Unless I specifically tell you to." He said. I frowned.

"That seems kind of rude doesn't it?" I asked.

Kenzo chuckled.

"I tell you that you are not allowed to speak without my permission, and that's all you have to say? You aren't upset that I'm going to take complete control of you, just that you might appear "rude." He teased My frown grew.

"Well.. It's not like you're like this all the time." I muttered.

"You are just submissive by nature. Nothing to be ashamed of kitten." He told me, and then kissed the top of my head.

I blushed

"There are other rules." Kenzo told me. "Along with not speaking unless I say, you are not allowed to do anything without my say. If we watch someone train, you are to remain quiet. If I sit, you will kneel in front of me. You will not touch anyone. No one will touch you without my permission either." He said.

Kenzo stopped, and turned his body to me.

"Do you understand what I'm saying Opal?" He asked. "You will be giving up complete control to me. When we enter those door, you will be my pet. Completely." He said.

I chewed on my bottom lip as I stare into Kenzo's black eyes. I don't feel scared. I don't feel mad. I feel... curious, and excited

I.. sort of knew what I was getting myself into. Even though I promised twice to do this, Kenzo is still giving me an option to tell him no. Kenzo may be a Dom, but.. He's sweet, and caring. I feel safe with him.

"I understand Kenzo, and I'm ready to go. Please take me to the Pet Store now."
