-Sheena Easton-

JACK's POV:

"Is that my sister? What did she say?"

My eyebrow automatically knew its way up when Dale asked me as soon as I ended the call.

"Yes, it's your sister and even though she is your sister, what we talked about is none of your business!" I said glaring at him.

"Ahh---whoa!"

"Anyway, you haven't answered my question yet. What are you doing here, Mister Soriano?"

But instead of answering my question, he just asked me again another nonsense question.

"This is a coffee shop, right?"

"Yes, and why do you ask?" My eyebrows knitted in confusion.

"And you're serving here breakfast, am I right?"

"Yes---"

"Then, that answered your question!"

"What the---"

"In short, I'm here to have breakfast." And he gave me one of his annoying chuckles.

"Gosh! Don't you know your former brother-in-law has already used that line with your sister?"

"Oh, I didn't know that."

"Can you come up with a nicer but a real one?"

"Well, I have no reason for coming here except that having breakfast, not unless you're thinking of another reason why I'm here." He smirked and since I wasn't born yesterday, I already got what he meant, but I chose not to lash it out at him. I took a deep breath.

"What do you want?" I asked wearing the best smile I could muster.

"You!" He answered abruptly that it made my mouth hung in shock. "I mean, it's up to 'you' what you want to serve me for breakfast." He shrugged. The annoying smirk on his lips hadn't even faded.

I formed my fists under the counter and took a deep breath to calm my nerves. I don't really understand what's with him and his best friend why they chose to come and have breakfast here when they knew its a thirty-minute drive from their work. "What is your order, Sir?" I emphasized the last word as I pointed to the digital menu boards behind me.

"Uhm..." It took him a few seconds before he finally decided to pick his orders.

"Here's your card, Sir. We'll just bring your food to your chosen table, thank you." I said giving him back the card he used for payment.

He took it smiling and with his eyes not living my face. It felt so awkward, but I can't scream nor slap that smile on his face as customers start lining up in front of the counter.

"Good morning, pretty girl." Norman, one of our regular customers greeted me. Dale just stepped aside but didn't really leave the counter.

"Good morning, handsome." I smiled at him, leaning my face forward and pretending to whisper. "Shhh... please lower your voice because everyone will hear how beautiful I am and I don't want them to look at me for the whole day." I ended it with a playful wink. That made him laugh so loud. And since it wasn't really a whisper, some customers who heard what I said also joined him. I was smiling broadly when I accepted the cash from him, but couldn't help raising an eyebrow when I glanced in Dale's direction and saw him frowning.

-Tss! What's with this bipolar jerk?'-

I pretended not to see his reaction and continued what I was doing.

SAM's POV:

"You're brother was at the coffee shop this morning."

My head snapped in Jack's direction when I heard what she said. We had just come out of the spa and were currently choosing a new pair of sleepwear from a Ladieswear section inside the department store. "Huh? What was he doing there?" I asked her with a frown.

"Well, he said he's just having breakfast." She shrugged which suddenly made me laugh.

"What a lame excuse!" I muttered to myself as I shook my head, but she had heard it.

"Exactly! His office is almost thirty minutes of drive from the coffee shop and your maid already prepared breakfast before he went to work, so I don't get it! He really extended his efforts to annoy me!"

And that made me laugh even more. I really wanted to say *it's because he likes you*, but I know she wouldn't believe me. For sure the first word she would say would be *That's impossible!*

"Maybe he just wanted to experience a different ambience and wanted to taste our fresh new baked muffins for breakfast." I shrugged.

"Tss!" She snorted, rolling her eyes. "To experience a different ambience--- I don't believe that, but to taste our new muffin recipe, well, that kinda makes sense."

"I always make sense." I gigged.

"Wait, how did he know about the new muffin recipe? Did you mention it by any chance?"

"Yup." I replied, popping the 'P' at the end. "I told him yesterday about it."

"Ahh..." She said nodding. "Anyway, I'll just try this." She raised the pair of bunny-pattered shirt and pyjamas and disappeared from my sight before I could even nod. "Tss! So excited!" I muttered under my breath and continued to scan the clothes from the hanging rack.

But it was just a few minutes when

Jack ran into the fitting room, an unexpected acquaintance suddenly appeared in front of me, wearing a little fitted dress that just ended on her mid-thigh. And based on her skinny figure and suffocating scent in which I'm not sure if she used all other perfume instead of water to rinse her sullied soul or she poured it all over her body to cover her sluttish personality- I don't know--- but I guess I already know who she was.

"Whoa! What a horrible coincidence! Tsk.tsk.tsk. Look who's here--- the invisible stealer!" Cherry Petterson, uttered in disgust and because her voice came a bit loud, she caught the attention of some of the customers in the Ladieswear section. But if you'll notice the smirk playing on the corner of her lips, I'm

sure she intentionally raised her

voice to catch everyone's attention.

-'Haist! Why does this woman love to make a scene? She always puts herself in an embarrassing situation. And what did she say--- Invisible stealer? Huh! Really?'-

"Samantha Soriano, the great invisible stealer!"

"Invisible stealer? Is there such a word?" I asked her, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes and that was formed because of you!" She glared at me and gathered other customers' attention like she did last time at the coffee shop, the reason Luke admitted the truth about our marriage. "Everyone, please be careful and pay attention to your husband or even your boyfriend because someone here might take them away from you like she did to my fiancé."

"Huh?"

"Oh, my God!"

I took a deep breath as she succeeded and we heard the loud gasps of the crowd.

"She once stole my fiancé a long time ago and now she's doing it again! She's making her way to get again my man!"

-'Jeez! Déjà vu?'-

"What? Aren't you going to defend yourself, bitch?"

Again, I just raised an eyebrow but decided to ignore her as I walked over to the next hanging rack. I won't get anything if I listen to her, besides, I know for myself what she was saying was not true.

But the moment got to the next rack, I felt her hand on my shoulder and she spun me around.

"Don't you dare walk away from me when I'm still talking to you!"

"What do you want?" I asked, forming my fists.

"So you still know how to talk, huh?" She sneered.

"I said what do you want? Because if you have nothing good to say, can you leave me alone? Plus, if the reason you're bothering me is because you're stuck with boredom and have nothing else to do with your life, do yourself a favor and jump on the San Francisco skyline!"

"Wow! You talked too much, bitch! Well, I'm here to give you a warning!"

"A warning?" I repeated, confused.

"Yes, a warning, but don't worry as this would be the last and if you don't take it seriously---"

"Look who's talking too much? Why don't you just say what you want to say and leave?"

Anger suddenly painted across her face as she glared at me.

"Bring it on, girl! Say it!" I don't know what came to my mind as I suddenly felt I wanted to irritate her more.

"Fine!" She took a deep breath. "Stay away from my boyfriend!"

"Ohh... what if I don't?" I bit my tongue inside my mouth to hold back the laughter that wanted to escape my throat. I swear, her reaction was priceless.

"Huh? You, bitch!" She screamed. "Then I'll do everything to destroy you!"

"Oh, jeez! I'm scared!" But I did the opposite as I chuckled.

"You're a second-rate bitch! A stealer! A hooker! A mistress!"

And that made my laugh died in mid-air. Folding my arms across my chest, I started wearing the most annoying grin I could muster.

"Wait a minute! I've been hearing the

word stealer from your mouth since earlier and now you're calling me a mistress? Aren't those words makes you cringe? Because as far as I

remember, a few days ago, Lukenet`

admitted that he didn't file the

divorce papers--- our divorce papers, that means in the past four years and even up to now, we haven't divorced yet. So technically, we are still married. He is still my husband and I'm still his wife, and if so, which of the two of us should be called a mistress?"
