Owned By Her Triplet Bullies -
(Bk 2) Chapter 98
Mason's POV
The car stopped and I got out heading towards the front door. I rang the doorbell and the door was opened for me.
"Welcome back sir," an omega greeted politely.
"Thank you," I replied heading into the house. I met Mum, my fathers, and Vivian waiting for me.
"Didn't I tell you to call me as soon as you got to the airport?" Vivian asked with a frown.
"I'm sorry. I had to drop Lexi off first," I responded.
"You are back," Mum muttered with a small smile. She looked completely different from when I last saw her, which was three days ago. Her face looked so pale and she had dark circles around her eyes. Was this all as a result of what I said? If I knew it was going to have this much effect on her, I never would have said anything.
"I am. Where's Mady?" I asked.
"She isn't home. She's at Torres's place again. Who knows what they are up to this time," she answered.
"It completely slipped my mind but she informed me that they had a school project to finish together. You know Mady's taking up extra-curricular activities so she can beat me in the upcoming tests," I explained, trying to squash whatever doubts they may have before they find out about their relationship. I'm sure Mady isn't prepared for that yet.
"We all need to talk. Come to the study," Father Alex said standing up on his feet, father Julian and Philip followed as they all walked away.
"Come on, don't worry. We are going to be quick," Mum assured me.
"Can I come along?" Vivian asked.
"It's an adult conversation, Vivian. We will be right back," she replied. I headed towards the study and she walked behind me. "How was your trip?" she asked.
"Fine, I guess," I responded walking into the study. They were all sitting and an omega was serving them tea. Mum sat with them too. "Have a seat," she said, gesturing towards the chair in front of her.
"I'm sorry for using the house without permission," I said, taking a seat.
"It's fine as long as it's for a good purpose. It's all going to be yours someday," Father Philip replied, sipping his tea.
"Tea?" Father Julian asked, pointing towards a cup.
"I'm good," I responded. We sat in silence for a while before I spoke up.
"I've been gone for only three days. Why do you look like that?" I asked with a frown. She involuntarily touched her face.
"Is it that obvious that I was sick?" she asked curiously.
"Of course. Your cheeks have no color. You look so pale," I responded in disapproval.
"I'm fine," she muttered.
"Don't lie to me. I heard you've been crying since I left. Is it because of what I said? If I knew it was going to be like this, I wouldn't have said anything at all..."
"Why wouldn't you? We are glad you spoke about how you felt," Father Alex replied, cutting me off. I stared at him in surprise. I thought they were going to be upset. Mason's POV
The car stopped and I got out heading towards the front door. I rang the doorbell and the door was opened for me. "You are?" I asked.
"Of course. If you had spoken up earlier, we would never have gotten to this point," Father Julian added. Mum sighed.
"You were right about everything. We were scared that you were going to end up like us and that pushed us to do things we never thought we would do. When you and your sister existed, we promised ourselves we were going to give you the absolute best. It's funny how we did the exact opposite," Father Philip remarked. I sat quietly without saying anything. I caught sight of Mum wiping her eyes.
"Your mum talked to us about it so many times but we ignored it thinking since you didn't complain, it was okay with you. All we wanted was to train you so you would be a better mate and a better Alpha than we ever were. We had no idea our acts took such a toll on you. You can do whatever you want from now on. We are deeply sorry for everything," Father Alex apologized. I stared at him in shock and my other fathers nodded in agreement. He was always so cold and detached. I had no idea he was capable of apologizing. "The thing is even I don't know what I want," I replied.
"It's okay. You are still very young. There's no rush. Take your time and we will be with you every step of the way," Mum assured me.
"Even if I don't want to be Alpha?" I asked skeptically.
"You can do whatever you want as long as it makes you happy. It's okay," Father Alex replied without hesitation.
"But what will happen to the Alpha position?" I inquired curiously.
"We will cross that bridge when we get there. Besides, we are still very much alive," Father Julian said. I smiled in relief. This scene played entirely differently in my head.
"Are we forgiven now?" he asked curiously.
"Have you all spoken to Mady?" I asked.
"We did yesterday. She's not upset anymore," he assured me.
"What about you mum? Are you happy or are you pretending to be for our happiness?" I inquired.
She smiled. "Mady asked the exact same question yesterday. Although I'm glad I have kids who constantly ask about me, you don't have to worry. I'm fine and if this is about me seeing a psychologist, you might understand more when you get older. It doesn't mean I don't love your fathers. I love them and I forgive them for everything. They knew I was seeing a psychologist," she admitted.
"They did?" I asked in surprise. They all nodded.
"It seems like I misunderstood," I muttered.
"You did. It's a pity we aren't close enough that you can talk to us about this. We want that to change. We want you to be able to come to us if anything happens. Just like Mady and Vivian do," Father Alex said. I nodded in response.
"How about you bring Lexi over for dinner tomorrow after your tests? We weren't able to have dinner the last time. Your grandparents would also be coming," Mum said.
"I will have to speak to her about it first. Is that okay?" I inquired.
"Of course. Take your time," she replied with a smile.
"Can I leave now? I need to unpack," I said.
"You can. We don't have anything else to say," Mum assured me. I stood up and took my leave. But on my way back to my room, I caught sight of someone trying to sneak back in.
"Going somewhere?" I asked and she jumped in surprise. She turned towards me.
"When did you get back?" she asked curiously.
"A few hours ago. Our parents spoke to you?" I inquired. She nodded.
"They spoke to you too?" she asked. I nodded in response.
"I can tell they are remorseful and willing to make amends. That's a good thing right?" she asked.
"I guess so. You are coming from Torres's place again, aren't you? When are you going to tell our parents about you two?" I inquired with furrowed brows.
"I'm going to tell them soon but not right now," she replied.
"Well, I hope he makes you happy," I said.
"He does. He's the sweetest. By the way, are you ready for our tests tomorrow? You ready to get your a*s whooped?" she asked with a smirk.
"I forgot tomorrow's the day when you come crying to me after losing one percent again," I retorted and she scoffed in disbelief.
"You are going to get the shock of your life tomorrow. Get ready," she warned before heading inside. I walked into my room and picked up my phone to call Lexi but decided against it. She must be studying hard and I didn't want to disturb her. I lay on my bed and closed my eyes. I liked to get enough rest before any test but that was proving to be very difficult because the thought of Lexi was constantly on my mind.

"Are you ready?" I asked the following morning, holding onto Lexi's hand as we stood in front of the test class. She looked very nervous.
"I don't know. I'm not sure if I studied enough," she responded.
"Of course you did. You studied more than anyone else I know. You are more than ready for this. I'm sure you are going to kill it," I said with a smile. I wanted to tell her about the dinner but that was only going to add to her stress so I didn't. I caught sight of Rachel heading towards us. Our gazes met but she quietly headed inside without saying anything to me which was surprising. "Good luck," I said as we both walked in and I let go of her hand.
"Good luck to you too although I doubt you need it," she mumbled and I chuckled. Mady turned around and gave me a smirk before we started the tests.
