Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 774
She subconsciously shoved her hands against his chest, but he wouldn't move.
Compared to last night when he pressed a savage kiss on her lips, he got aggressive this time. While struggling, she accidentally bit his thin lips. However, the taste of blood on his lips made him kiss her viciously without any intention of stopping.
They got all the emotion out of them which had been stored up. The car pulsed with indescribable eroticism.
She could hardly breathe. Although she had been trying hard to push away him, she could not help feeling hot in her heart.
In the past four years, they did it thousands of times. When she closed her eyes, she could conjure up in exact color almost every night they shared together, so her hips wiggled subconsciously... Through the windshield, she could still see a crowd of noisy children who were playing on the swing in the distance. A slight night breeze rose, wafting the innocent voices past them.
Emily suddenly thought of her child. When her collar was pulled opened by his big hand, she was suddenly awakened.
"No..."
Emily whispered, and then struggled wildly, "Simon, no!"
She shook her head desperately while she used one hand to push his chest and placed her other hand quietly on her lower abdomen. The doctor told her not to undertake any strenuous exercise in the first trimester...
Just now, he held her spellbound with his impulsive kisses so that she almost forgot about it.
"Please, please! I don't want to do it!" Emily kept shaking her head.
Simon held her shoulders tightly. When he wanted to bend down to kiss her again, he could feel her reluctance. His amorous eyes narrowed. When he saw the terrified but determined look on her face, he gasped.
His thin lips slightly twitched as he said coldly, "Emily, you don't want me to touch you?"
"..." Emily bit her lip tightly.
He gradually relaxed his grip on her shoulders as he drew back. She quickly pulled up her collar and sat down, holding herself tightly with her hands. All the trembles and cries vanished without a trace.
She darted a sly sideways glance at Simon who had already sat back in the driver's seat. His eyes were crinkled as the look in his face hardened. God alone knew what he thought.
Twenty minutes later, the black Cayenne drove back to the residential building.
The same heavy, brooding silence descended on them. After the car stopped, Simon got out of the driver's seat, moved round the car, and opened the door on her side.
Looking at the big hand coming toward her, thinking of what had just happened, Emily looked at him warily.
When Simon saw this, he said with a self-deprecating smile, "Don't worry, I won't touch you again!"
As his voice faded, her seat belt slowly fell off. Emily was startled and couldn't help looking up. At this moment, his eyes dulled. She was conscious that behind his eyes was a whole universe of pain. Emily felt her throat constricted.
For a moment, she wanted to grab his big hand.
With her head lowered, she walked out of the car and closed the door. Simon didn't move. He leaned on the front of the car with a lit cigarette in his hand. As he exhaled, smoke dispersed again and again. When Emily was about to leave, he asked in a low voice, "If I want to make up with you, will you change your mind?"
She pursed her lips.
Through palls of white smoke, Simon looked at her full in the face. When their eyes met, Emily immediately turned away as if she had been scalded, and then slowly shook her head.
Simon sucked on his cigarette. His eyes suddenly alighted on her right hand. "Emily, where's your ring?"
Emily was slightly taken aback.
She lowered her head and looked at her empty right hand. The ring mark on her ring finger was gone.
After divorce, when she went to the hospital for an interview, she quietly took it off without anyone noticing her and hid it in a secluded corner with her feelings towards him in the four-year marriage. Emily took a deep breath and said, "I threw it away..."
"You threw it away." Simon repeated these words.
The picture of someone wearing a diamond ring on her ring finger flashed across her mind. There was a hint of coldness in her voice. "Back then, you said it was a wedding ring. Now that we're divorced, it's useless for me. So, I threw it away!"
Simon's Adam's apple bobbed up and down. He had noticed that there was no ring on her finger.
Just now, he asked because he didn't want to give her up. But when he heard that she indifferently threw it away, he found his shiny ring on his finger was somewhat harsh.
His pupils quickly dilated as he growled deep in his throat, "Do you still remember those days we experienced together in the disaster area of Yany State?" Yany State...
When Emily heard him mention this, her face assumed a sort of dreamy expression.
Although life was harder then, it was the happiest time of her life. Because at that time, he stuck faithfully to her through thick and thin. If it weren't for the divorce papers, she might dream longer. She swallowed hard and said in a low voice, "I didn't take it seriously..."
Simon stood on the spot in silence.
The cigarette that had been lit quickly burned out between his slender fingers. In the end, it turned into ashes and lay quietly on the ground. He raised his hand and threw the cigarette butt into the trash can. When he straightened his body and looked at her, he gave a short, derisive laugh. "Okay, I get it!"
"Simon, I told you that our marriage was just an agreement. We'd better part decently. Since it's just a casual fling, we don't have to delude ourselves!" Emily paused for a moment and continued bleakly. "I know, you don't love me, and I don't love you. You love another girl, and I...love another man! Now we are free. I hope we don't interfere in each other's life anymore!"
Simon stood there with his hands clasped behind his back, and responded with a sneer, "I wish you happiness, with you ex-boyfriend!"
Emily clenched her fists and said, "You too, with Addy!"
He and Addy?
Simon smiled mockingly. However, he didn't say anything, but turned around and left.
He turned the black Cayenne around and drove away two tail-lights on. It was not until it was out of sight that Emily looked down and walked into the building.
Hearing the sound of opening the door, her uncle in the living room came out happily. "Simon, come and see. I've found another bottle of good wine. Let's enjoy it at dinner!" Emily opened her mouth and croaked, "Uncle."
Her uncle was surprised to see her close the door. "Emily, why did you come up by yourself? Where's Simon?"
She stopped changing her shoes and explained, "He went back to Ice city..."
