Purchased A Mr. Right -
Chapter 776
Wilson stood still, and he replied faintly, "The newspaper gave a very exposition of the facts."
When Bellamy heard that, he threw another teacup to Wilson. "I'm not blind! I'm asking for your explanation now!"
"I don't want to marry her." Wilson didn't hide and it hit him on the shoulder with a muffled sound.
Then it bounced on the wall next to him with a crisp sound and fell on the ground where lay the last one.
Bellamy had been in the military region for a long time and had a reputation for being tough. He was used to reprimanding his troops, so he came in a fit of anger. Now that he had seen Wilson's abrupt manner he couldn't help glaring at him in anger.
"Dad, calm down!"
When Adam saw this, he stubbed out the cigarette in his hand and strode forward, trying to shield his younger brother. "Wilson, you were too impulsive about that!"
When Bellamy saw his eldest son come in wearing the military uniform, he lowered his hand. His chest heaved violently before he sat back down on the mahogany chair. However, he was still angry and scolded loudly, "If you don't want to marry her, then why don't you tell her family before? You agreed to this marriage. But now the wedding is hand, you said you wanted to cancel it. What do you think you are playing at?"
Wilson knew that could say nothing in his defense, so he just kept silent.
Simon, behind them, said lazily, "What's the matter? Can we sit down and talk it over?"
Upon hearing his voice, Bellamy finally noticed that his youngest son was present. He was surprised to see his son's tall and straight figure. After all, ever since Simon secretly married many years ago, he had truly done what he promised and never stepped into this house again, even on Christmas Eve.
"You know to go home, don't you?"
Simon stood upright next to his second elder brother Wilson with both hands on his back. "Wilson told me that you haven't been feeling well recently. He asked me to come back and see you!"
"How can I be healthy with you filthy rats!" Bellamy kept a straight face.
"The wedding has been canceled, so getting mad does no good for your body!" Simon said calmly.
Bellamy immediately homed in on him. "Shut up! You have no right to speak here! What the f*ck has gotten into you? Four years ago, you secretly got married without even informing your family. Have you and Wilson forgotten that your father is still alive?"
Simon paused for two seconds and then he said, "I am divorced."
"What did you say?" Bellamy was shocked.
"I don't want to repeat it." Simon said in a husky whisper with sadness in his eyes. It seemed that he didn't want to mention it again.
"Divorce? You-" Bellamy stood up once again and strode around the writing desk to Simon furiously. "How could you get married and divorce secretly. How can I have a son like you? Marriage is a lifelong commitment, not fun and game!"
Bellamy was angry as hell. He had no energy to do any further moves and clutched at the edge of the desk for support.
When Adam saw this, he stepped forward again to support him. "Dad, don't be so angry! It's bad for your health."
"And you. Your wife died many years before.
Do you want to remain a bachelor all your life?" Bellamy pushed his eldest son's hand away and raised his voice unhappily.
Adam, who got a roasting for no reason, was speechless,"..."
The proudest accomplishment in Bellamy's life might be his three sons, who respectively joined the army, worked as businessmen and became a famous doctor in Ice city, even if his youngest son didn't follow his instructions to enter politics. However, he couldn't help worrying about their marriages, which was Sod's Law.
Adam lost his wife, Wilson canceled the wedding, and Simon divorced...
If the news went public, he imagined everyone who envied him would relish the poetic justice!
Bellamy walked back to his chair, clutching on to the writing desk for support. He waved his hand in anger. "All of you, get the hell out of here!"
The three brothers came out of the study and went downstairs. After that, Adam lifted his foot and kicked Wilson who was next to him. "Wilson, are you all right?"
"I'm fine." Wilson shook his head.
Simon, who was walking at the back with his hands in his pockets, raised his eyebrows lazily when he heard this. "Two broken cups. Are you sure?"
Wilson pushed his glasses up his nose with his pinkie, and said slyly, "Dad's aim is good. Before entering the study, I ask the servants for two pieces of cotton!" Adam, "..."
Simon, "..."
Walking out of the villa, the three brothers stood in the sun. Everyone was holding a cigarette in their hands. Looking over from a distance, one might take it as a scene in a TV series.
Adam was a heavy smoker. In such a short time, half of the cigarette in his hand had been burnt. He frowned and asked, "Wilson, the cancellation of the wedding should have a big public impact, right? I can tell our father is furious. The last time he acted like this was because of Young Master Chin's marriage. What's your plan?"
"I can deal with him." Wilson looked confident.
Hearing this, Simon slightly raised his eyebrows. "Can you elaborate?"
Wilson flicked the ashes from his cigarette, and intelligence and cunning emanated from his long eyes behind the lens. He said, "Just wait and see!"
After leaning over and listening to Wilson's words, Simon gave his second elder brother a thumbs-up.
The next day, in the private hospital.
On the white walls of the corridor, there was a rose-colored halo filtered in through the windows. Simon was walking in a white coat. From time to time, patients and nurses who were pushing trolleys would no and greet him.
Back in the office, he leaned over and sat on the chair. Wheels creaked on the floor.
Simon took out a pen from the pocket of the white coat and wrote quickly on the unfurled medical note. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw the phone on the side. He paused and finally put the pen cap on it. He rubbed the screen of the mobile phone on which the name "Emily" was clearly shown.
What would she say?
Could he ask her to stay again? Simon had mentioned it in the town, but she had refused. After all, she was not hot- headed to go abroad, but for Boyd!
Simon tightened his grip as hard as he could, as if he wanted to crush the phone.
At this time, there were hurried footsteps sounded in the corridor, and then the door of his office was knocked. A nurse gasped and said, "Dr. Chin, thank God you're still here!" "What's wrong?" Simon frowned.
The nurse quickly explained, "A pregnant woman in obstetrics and gynecology department suddenly broke water in the ward and is now sent to the operating room. But she has congenital heart disease. She has a heart attack because she's too nervous. She's in a critical condition and we need a cardiac surgeon!"
