Chapter 62: Jealousy And Love Unveiled

"I'm sorry," I said to Luke.

"It's okay man, I know how you feel. I felt the same way when I saw any man talking to my mate. unfortunately, she was killed during the battle with a Ryker," Luke said suddenly looking like a sad man before me. "I feel so stupid. I should have been so mean to you. I am sorry," I apologized again and Luke just hugged me.

Normally I would have pushed him away but the man has been through a lot and I treated him like shit.

I patted his back and he moved out of my embrace and smiled at me saying, "Now, it is time for you to tell Lyra how you feel about her."

"What? What do you mean how I feel about her?" I asked still in denial.

"Are you being for real man? At this point your denial is so deep you look stupid," he laughed and I laughed along with him, then we cleaned up the bruises we gave each other in the pool and we healed almost immediately. We walked back to the havern laughing and chatting.

"Are we all dead already and am I need the arms of the queen mother?" Aria asked and we looked at each other confused.

"I mean you both are finally talking," Aria laughed.

"Yeah, we have buried the hatchet," Lue smiled and I saw how genuine this man truly was and I suddenly started to feel pity for him again.

Lyra came out of her room and stopped in her tracks when she saw I and Luke, suddenly she broke out a smile and I spoke immediately.

"Lyra, I need to tell you something, privately," I said as I looked at Aria's prying eyes.

"Go man," Luke said cheering me on as he patted my back.

"Lyra I'm sorry," I spoke up immediately we were around the comfort of the library.

"I was jealous and I acted unreasonably. I didn't like seeing you with Luke and I didn't understand why you were with him. I am sorry. I know you were trying to train him because he wasn't so fit but I couldn't help how I felt and I acted stupidly." I continued.

"Why were you jealous?" Lyra asked in a low voice.

"Because I... I was.... I was jealous because I am in love with you," I forced out looking into her eyes where her face looked shocked.

"You are in love with me?" she repeated.

"Yes, I am sorry if I am making you uncomfortable but I cannot continue to keep it to myself. I need you to know how I feel about you and honestly, thinking about it. I think I have know since the first time I started training you but I was too scared to admit it," I said.

"Oh Kyle, I have been hoping you would say those words to me for a while now. I realized I had feelings for you when I saw you with a girl at the back of the havern and the thought of you too being together disgusted me. I was so jealous," I said.

I moved closer to her and I could not stop myself from touching her cheek and moving the few strands of hair that fell on her face to the back of her ear.

"I couldn't stop thinking about that kiss," she confessed in a low voice as I pulled her closer.

"Neither could I," I told her as I stared into her eyes then she licked her lips and my eyes fell to her lips as I wished to kiss her.

I pulled her closed to the point that our bodies were squeezed together with no space. I looked into her eyes again as I lower my lips to hers and she closed her eyes as I claimed her lips.

It was a light, tender kiss that was slow like I was caressing her lips and soon it turned into an urgent passion one. LYRA'S POV

I couldn't believe what was going on, I was kissing Kyle in the library. It was like a dreaming. Because honestly, he had been hunting my dreams for the past week. All I could think bout was the feel of his lips against mine and that was all I wanted and now that it was happening I couldn't help but feel extremely satisfied.

Kyle bit my lower lip and I opened my lips as his tongue explored every part of my mouth. Slowly we began to grind into each other as he kissed my neck and a whimper left my lips before I could comprehend what was going on.

His tongue and teeth trailed my skin as he hit the spot between my shoulder and neck, where I am to be marked by the male that would claim me. He licked the spot and I shivered as his tongue continued to assault my neck sounds, I have never made in my life started to come out of me.

"Kyle," I moaned out his name as I tried to squeeze my legs together because of the warmth that pooled at my center, but he didn't let me. Instead, he parted my legs with his thighs and he settled in between my legs his already hardened member grinding into my sweet spot.

"Lyra," he breathed into my neck, before the door busted open and we both flew to opposite sides of the room.

"Oh, queen mother! I am sorry," Aria said as she turned away and quickly ran outside.

I fixed my hair and dress quickly as my face burned from embarrassment and I walked out to meet Aria not even trying to look at Kyle.

As soon as I walked outside, I instantly regretted it as Aria faced me with her knowing smile. "You guys were really doing a lot of talking," "Aria don't start with your teasing. Why are you here?" I asked as I bushed a darker shade of red.
