And that was exactly what I did. I knelt down before him and hugged him while I cried. I cried because I knew I would never get to experience some time with him when we didn't hate each other.

When I had finally calmed down, I stared at him again and he smiled at me. We stayed quiet for a while and it wasn't awkward. For the first time in a long time, I felt peace.

I looked at him and I said, "Hello, father."

His eyes filled up with tears as he held my hands, "Hi, my dear child."

"I'm sorry," I said with guilt as I looked at him remembering how I killed him.

"It is fine, I am not angry with you about that. instead, I am proud of you. If you had not killed me, I would have killed you and I would have continued living that miserable life. You gave me peace and you reunited me with the love of my life. I cannot stop thanking you for that." he said to me.

As I realized that him and my mother are together again, I felt joy in my heart.

"I am here to advice you on what is going on, I know you love Kyle and I am aware of what he did to you. I am not asking you to forgive him, instead I am asking you that you should heal. Let it go and heal.

After you have healed if you want to take revenge on Zeus then fine but you need to heal first and if you do not go back to Kyle or if you fall out of love with him, it is fine too. But for now, I would like it very much if you will focus on yourself and how you are feeling. Focus on everything that makes you happy and remain that way. Do not allow anything that will ruin your peace and if you find yourself falling in love with someone new, then allow it. Do not judge yourself, and do not feel guilty for it you are allowed to love and be loved. Do not allow one bad experience take away everything that will make you happy. You deserve to be loved. Never forget that and never forget that I am your father and I love you very much." He said then he kissed my forehead.

"Now go back, you have stayed here for too long," he said to me as he led to through a path that took me back to the library.

I waved good bye to him and I walked into the library and then darkness. I felt myself being pulled towards the light and finally my eyes opened.

"Ha," I gasped as I shut my eyes again. Everywhere looked to bright.

"Alpha she is awake," I heard someone say but I wasn't paying attention I was too disorientated by the sound of the machines, insects, birds, the nurses, everything.

I took a deep breath and I opened my eyes again. This time a very handsome man was standing in front of me looking at me worriedly and I remembered that he was alpha Axel and I suddenly rebuked my thought.

What the fuck?! Did I just think of him as handsome? I thought to myself

I shook my head and I looked at him again, "Water," I said with my cracked voice.

"Yes," he said as he rushed to get me water.

"How are you feeling?" He asked.

"I feel good" I answered honestly.

"Are you sure?" he asked as he signaled the doctors to do a test on me.

"Yes, I am. I feel well," I said to him and he looked to the doctor as if telling him to confirm what I said and the doctor nodded at him as if to say that I am truly fine and then only did he smile.

His smile was so beautiful, my heart beat tripled alerting the machine still connected to me and I felt myself turn a miserable shade of red while the man panicked and the doctor looked at me in amusement while trying to calm Axel down that it was nothing.

As soon as Axel left to get me food and clothes to change into so I can be discharged, she turned to me and smiled.

"You have a crush on him don't you?" she raised a brow.

"What? No, I don't. I was just surprised at how close he was to me and that is why I reacted that was," I said to her and I am sure she wasn't convinced because I didn't believe a word I said but thankfully, she decided to drop it. "Okay then, before he comes, I will do a quick check up on you and then you will be ready to go. My name is Amira by the way," she smiled at me.

"My name is Lyra, you are new here?" I asked because I haven't seen her before.

"No, I have lived here all my life, I went to Paris for two years and now I am back," she explained to me.

"Okay, that's really cool. Paris is one place I have always wanted to go," I said to her.

"Really?" Axel said as he walked in and Amira slapped the back of his head.

"How many times have I warned you to stop eavesdropping," she said sternly to him.

"I wasn't eavesdropping, I walked in and I heard what you both were talking about," he shrugged.

"That is the same thing as eavesdropping," Amira shook her head.

"No, it is not," Axel frowned like a child that was scolded making me laugh.

"You guys look like a married couple that is arguing," I said and they both faced me at the same time.

"No, we don't!" they shouted and I laughed harder shaking my head.

"See what I said, married couple," I said again and Amira just mumbled some things under her breath and walked away.
