Chapter 117

Two days later , everyone agreed to obtain the coven’s audience. They had yet to find our location so we were going to them , with the idea Dataneye had given us , and, as promised, they had helped the girls set it all up. We were exposing ourselves really , showing them that she was with a wolf pack. But hopefully, if they saw the strength Violet had behind her , it could turn them away from pursuing this i***t idea they had. After Violet’s break down the other day, she hadn’t really been OK. When I had followed her she had asked me not to talk about it , she had refused to really. Said to just forget she had ever suggested it , that it was a moment of madness.

She was involved in talking , smiling and even laughing. But I don’t know, she just seemed distant at times. Like she went into her own world. Everyone was starting to look at her a little worriedly. I tried to talk to her , but she just said everything was fine. Now that we were pretty much getting ready to go , I couldn’t see her. The warlock women were coming with us , the dragons , Usif wanted to come with us to show us his support and gratitude. We were a mixed bunch , but we were a mixed bunch, showing them what power we had to back us up. Trying to let them see it would be foolish to come for us , or more likely for Violet. She had people on her side now.

We asked Penny if she wished to stay back. As far as they were aware, she had fled. They were not looking for her. If she showed up with us they would know where she was. She had gotten more confident around us , but she was still hesitant and she clung to Ryker now instead of Violet. Although they had not completed their mating yet. Ryken was sticking to his word of taking it slow with her. I walked over to her now , she was standing at the side of her mate , but she was talking quietly to Anthea.

“Sorry to interrupt , but Penny, have you seen Violet ? ” I asked her. She nodded , lifted her hand up and pointed ” She is at the back of the house , in the woods. She said she wanted to go for a walk to clear her mind before we transport there. ” Her voice sounded shaky , and only now did I notice that she was shaking. ” Are you alright ? “I asked her, concerned. ” Not really , but I will be OK. It is just the thought of going back there , now that I am free ” she tried to smile. But she failed. Ryken wrapped his arm around her shoulder and pulled her to his side , before he bent down to whisper in her ear.

Leaving them to it , I made my way in the direction Penny had said. As soon as I got around the house, I picked up her scent and followed that heavenly nectar. I found her sitting on a stump not far in. ” Violet ” I said , mainly to announce I was there. She turned her head and looked over her shoulder and smiled sadly. Walking the distance , I walked to stand in front of her , placed my finger under her chin and made her look at me. ” Baby, I have let you tell me your fine for two days now , I won’t let you say it again ” I raised a brow and dared her to argue it wasn’t true.

She let out a breathy laugh. ” It is just the thought of seeing them face to face again. What do I even say to them ? Where do I start ? I feel this hatred so deep for them, I fear I will just turn into a bubbling crying mess. Yet the other day, what I tried to get you all to do. That would be something they would suggest. I am not even near them yet and I feel myself breaking apart , warring with myself. What if I am not strong enough to fight my darkness for a second time ? What if they coax it out and it consumes me ? ” she asked , all in a rush, barely stopping to take a breath.

Reaching down, I picked her up , made it so she wrapped her legs around my waist and then I turned and sat on the stump so she was sitting on my lap facing me. ” For one, you have a mate now , you have more to fight for now than you did then. Secondly, who gives a s**t how you act when you first see them? If you cry in anger and hatred, then do so. Show them how their actions make you feel. Baby , stop letting them control you. You can never be bad. We all have bad thoughts we are scared to voice sometimes. Hell, I have taken the lives of many. Who am I to judge ? I want to start our future, don’t you ? “I asked her.

She nodded ” Then let’s go meet the in laws and tell them to keep the f**k away from us ” I smiled at her and she laughed. ” Most woman would smack you up side of the head for that statement , but in this case I agree with you ” she laughed. It was nice to see the smile on her face. ” Seriously though Violet , please stop shutting me out “, I asked her going back to being serious. She leaned forward and rubbed her nose against mine. ” I’m sorry , I haven’t been a very good mate thus far ” she sighed. I laughed at her ” Like I was a good mate to you to start with while I was going through my issues. Let’s just promise both to be better, yea ? “

She put her lips against mine and I g*****d , she set my b***d on fire. And as much as I wanted to sink into that glorious heat of hers. The others were waiting. It felt like my own hell having to pull away from her. I sighed as I broke our k**s. ” Can we rain check the others are waiting ? “she grinned evilly at me. ” It is not like they would go without us is it ? ” That was true. Thinking f**k it , I put my hand on the nape of her neck and pulled her lips back in. ” f**k it ” I growled against her lips.

We made it quick , well as quick as we could. She scurried off of my lap. Standing up with her , I span her around her hands going on the stump so she was bent over. Kneeling down behind her , I pulled her trousers and pants down, then I dove in and pushed my face against her cheeks. Tasting her sweet centre , I probed my tongue into her. Making her nice and wet and ready for me. Her m***s echoed through the trees. As much as I would love to make a meal out of her , we needed this to be quick. Standing up , I pushed my jeans to my knees and lined myself up. As I pushed in , my eyes rolled to the back of my head. Pushing into her body would never get old. It was like the greatest feeling on earth , at least I thought so. It brought me a sense of peace I had never felt in my life, I f*****g belonged between her thighs.

Grabbing her h*p , I slowly dragged out and back in, letting her adjust. Then I broke f*****g loose. Pounding into her like I was possessed. It didn’t take long. Before she came apart beneath me , and I followed straight after her. Pumping my seed into her , the fact she would now smell like me only pleased me. I know seeing Wallace he wouldn’t smell it , not like wolves did. And all I could think was what a f*****g shame that was. I knew as soon as I saw him looking at her it would set off my possessive streak. There were other ways than scent I could mark what was mine , or show someone she was. And I had no issues with doing those things.

Helping her stand up , I kissed her softly and helped her get back presentable. “Whatever feelings you feel today , remember this one here. Remember you have people who love and care for you here. What those people think or do is nothing to you anymore. They can not get to you , they can not make you evil. The only thing that could do that is if you let yourself. Remember us ” I pleaded. She took a deep breath Her beautiful eyes looked at me with so much love , it almost made me take her again. Grabbing her hand , I pulled her out of the woods and away from temptation. One last battle , one last f*****g hindrance , then we could finally move on from all of this. Everyone was trying not to grin as we walked back. Penny had a red stain on her cheeks. I am guessing we were not exactly quiet.
