Me and Enzo stood staring at the untouched body lying on a slab. I know what me and Enzo would like to do to him. A cowardly move to kill him while he slept , but I could bend my morals for this guy. I could easily drive a knife through his heart right now. I looked at Enox and he was looking at me smirking. ” Me too, brother “, he said through our link. The damage to our side was that four people had sadly lost their lives; our warriors . Dataneye was injured , Ryken was injured and so was Willow. One of those fuckers had managed to get to her when Raan had come to help his brother. They’d nearly killed her if not for Usif. Instead, they’d missed her heart in the interruption and stabbed her in the arm.

We had found Rhiala and Tiffany in the forest , the dark witch had taken them there and Rhiala was now awake with a killer headache and bruised ribs. We had yet to hear from the witches that had decided to help us , or know where Harry and Tanya had gone. Sighing, I turned to look away from the a*****e , and looked at the c*****e around us. ” What do we do here ? “I asked Enzo. ” We can’t leave until Ryekn wakes up , I also have no idea what to do with this coven. They were all fully on board with Tanya and Harry, unlike the coven Violets’ parents were in. I don’t trust these people to lead their own lives and not bother us. Or, anyone else ” he said, what I was feeling also.

Looking over, I saw Violet comforting Anthea. She had a hand on Antheas’ belly. And Anthea held Violet’s hands on it with her hands. As I was watching them, I saw when Violet and Antheas’ heads both snapped up and looked in the same direction. Shira, who was standing just a few meters away from them, looked that way too. And Willow, who was near me and Enzo, gasped and stood up looking that way. ” What is it Willow ? ” I asked her.

” Magical vibrations , strong ones ” she said. I looked back at Violet to see her start walking in that direction as well as Anthea. They were holding hands. Shira stepped into line with them. And the Willow started to move too. ” What now “, Enzo growled. As we followed them. They were walking us towards the tree line. But before we could step foot in , two women walked out. ” How ? “Violet asked. The woman with brown skin and emerald green eyes spoke. And as soon as she did, I recognised the voice of one of the supposedly dead witches. ” I was not dead to begin with ” she smiled , and that one statement confused the s**t out of all of us.

She laughed at the confused looks on our faces. But her eyes slid to two people that were slowly making their way over to us. Rhiala and Tiffany. ” I did not fall in love with one of the male wolves. I have never been one for male company. At the time it happened, I was happy for my sisters. We have always been inviting of other species. Never closed our doors , when they arrived they told us their pack had been attacked. And they were the only ones left. They had no choice but to flee , so we gave them shelter and food. And they started helping out around the camp. It was nice. One by one, I saw my sisters start to fall for these men. Mates or not , it was like they had no choice. I started to become a little suspicious. And I had gone to investigate , but before I got to the destination of where they said their pack had been. I got called by my sisters , I felt each and every one of their deaths, each one brutal “. She looked back at the female who stood with her and smiled sadly.

I concealed myself in an air-tight box with a spell to preserve my body and I moved my essence to the deathly plane. I was dead , but not. All I ever needed to do was bring my spirit back to my body. ” She waved her hands down at herself.

But now I do ” she said again, glancing at Rhiala and Tiffany again. ” The fates are telling me it is time to come back to the living by blessing me with two mates I hope will have me “. She sounded nervous. Her eyes kept darting to the female behind her , who had a very uncanny resemblance to her. The female nodded her head but didn’t speak. When she moved, I noticed her movement didn’t seem right. Almost slower than they should be.

Rhiala and Tiffany both looked at each other and laughed. ” Of course we will have you ” Rhaila said. ” You can help me keep this one in line “, Rhiala added, and Tiffany mock smacked her arm. The witch looked on with fondness at their interactions. ” Who is the other female ? “Enzo asked , what we were all most likely thinking. The witch looked at Enzo and back at the women. ” My actual biological sister , she is unfortunately still dead. She just came to see me off. Now they know what happened to them and those that were to blame are dealt with. They are at peace. They are ready to move on “. The sadness in her voice was evident.

The ghostly woman raised her hand and touched her sister’s cheek. Both of them smiled at each other. ” Be safe Rosie, and actually live. It is time to let us go ” she whispered before she looked at us. ” Protect my sister for me please ” before her figure faded away. Rosie tried to remain strong. You could see her battling with her tears. Rhiala and Tiffany slowly made their way over to her. They looked hesitant, but as they got closer Rosie through herself into them and they had to quickly catch her as the sobs and the dam broke.

” Looks like we have another witch among us ? “I said to Enzo through our link. ” Looks that way but has her hatred for wolves fully gone ? ” he said back. ” She’s mated to one , a very strong headed one at that ” I laughed back through the link. He agreed , at least Rhiala had back up with dealing with Tiffany. Unless Rosie was more like Tiffany then poor Rhiala. A shake on the floor had all us turning to look and I sighed in relief when Rykens’ big beast was stumbling to its feet. We left the trio to their privacy , and made our way back to Ryken, who was just changing himself back to his human. As soon as he was there, Penny tackled him. Which made him wince . But he didn’t complain and wrapped his arms around her. ” My dragon is so sorry baby , he feels like he failed you by dropping you off of his back ” I heard him whisper to her thanks to the wolf’s hearing.

She snapped her head back and shook her head and, with the most fierceness I had ever heard her speak with, she snapped ” Well tell him to knock it off . It wasn’t his fault and I’d not have him thinking it was. ” Ryken smiled down at her and then pulled her in and dropped his lips to hers. I felt her before she came to my side , but Violet grabbed my hand, watching the scene lay out infront of us.

” Lets get this show on the road so we can get the hell home ” Enzo announced. “Devon reach out to dad to get him to get the council here. The dark witches are going to be their problem, not ours. And let’s think of something to do with Wallace. I don’t trust him going with the council. I want to know that he is good and taken care of “, he announced.

” Can I throw an idea in ” Rosie said from behind us. Enzo turned to look at her and nodded. ” Throw him in my box , and seal it. Then you can throw him wherever you like . Bottom of the deepest sea , in the deepest cave, wherever you like ” she shrugged. Enzo smiled. ” I would much rather stab him through the heart , but I am no coward. I do not kill a man that is already down. Or defenseless , no matter how much he deserves it. So I think your idea is a good one. Thank you Rosie. I would also like to ask what you did with Harry and Tanya , just so we know whether or not to expect them to pop back up at sometime ” he asked her.

She cleared her throat and looked down. “It won’t be an issue. We had no such morals when it came to them two. Their bodies are in the forest. We stripped them of life. They did not deserve any sort of mercy. But Wallace is just a prodigy of their ways , so I agree with you not to kill this one. Although he is a sniveling weasel that won’t quit , so a life of damnation or confinement is what is needed. “
