I felt nervous , extremely nervous. What would they do next ? What will we do next ? Shira had picked a room close to ours. So when we had attempted to dust off the sheets, we gave up and just decided when we slept we would do it with our wolves. I went to see her. Knocking on the door, I went in to see her room spotless , no dust in sight. A fire is burning in the fire place. And she sat on the bed reading the book Samuel had in his hands earlier. She glanced up at me when I closed the door and smiled. ” This room is safe , we can talk freely ” she said, closing the book.

” Why didn’t you warn us you were going to do that ? ” I asked her. I had opened my mind link up to Enzo so he could listen in. We both didn’t want to come because they could be watching us , it would look suspicious. Like we were having secret meetings , me coming here could still be that. But it’s also just me coming to chat with a friend about something. ” I didn’t know I was until then, I was trying to feel for magic and spirits. And someone blocked me. Like someone close by blocked me. Which confirms everything we have been saying , it is the princesses. If it was someone else , what would it matter me uncovering the warlock’s dirty laundry? We will give them their own choice of whether they go in. But we need them now, Shira. Them being clueless as to what was actually going on could also be dangerous for them “.

If they do , then that is fine. Tell them and as for tomorrow . If you want them in that room. Then we will go back to the island tonight and take the test. That was risky. ” If they notice us gone and we haven’t taken them, does that not just point a huge arrow at them that we don’t trust them ? She just rolled her eyes and grinned “You’re a good judge of character, Anthea , if you think they are trustworthy enough to go into the pool, I’m sure they are. And if they won’t, then maybe you should ask them why “. After that, I left her room feeling conflicted. I didn’t want to potentially send someone I loved to their death. It wasn’t just what I thought , it was if they had gotten to any of them too. By default, they could not be trusted due to a spell.

I was about to turn to go back into our room , when a sound behind me caught my attention. Turning around, I didn’t see anything. But then I heard it again , like a banging sound. Just around the corner from the hall our rooms were in. There was an open landing where you could see down into the foyer. Walking closer , the sound was taking me in that direction. The banging continued , and now I was closer I could definitely hear some familiar sounds. I was about to turn back around. Give whoever it was some privacy, it would most likely be Willow.

Down on the table below , I almost gasped at what I saw. I only stopped myself by putting my hand over my mouth. It was Violet and Devon down there. Violet had her head thrown back , a sexy smile on her face as Devon had his head between her thighs. From Devon I could definitely expect this , but Violet was such a private, reserved person, I guess that is what shocked me more. Backing up, my body slammed into something hard. I gasped and looked round to see Enzo standing there.

” You enjoy their show ?” he asked me , his eyebrows raised. I shook my head no. ” I just heard a noise , it didn’t sound like Violet ” I explained. I heard giggling coming from where Violet and Devon were , turning back around and looking down. Both Devon and Violet were looking up at us grinning. ” Sorry “, Violet said, and I awkwardly put my hand up. Why? I don’t know. ” Ahhhh don’t apologize , Anthea is from a wolf pack. She’ll be used to this sort of thing “, he winked. ” Errrm yea carry on ” I muttered. I turned back around and avoided Enzo’s gaze as I dodged around him.

Quickly getting back to our room, I knew he had followed because he closed the door where I hadn’t. “What’s wrong with you , you’ve seen people f*****g loads of time in the pack ? “he asked through our link. I sat down on the dusty bed. ” It didn’t sound like her , her voice was wrong. Plus, would you ever put Violet as a f*****g in public girl ? ” He made a face and shook his head. ” No probably not , I noticed, she’s trying too hard. That isn’t new , so what are you freaking out about ?” he asked. And I huffed that I had to spell it out. ” The pool tonight , I know Peters’ intentions have always been pure. But Samuel, he was just as horrid to me as mum was. He never verbally said anything to me , more like just ignored me. What if that is enough to kill him , and he jumps in and he’s gone because I told him that the only way we would trust him enough? ” Enzo sat beside me on the bed.
